Frontier Lord Starts Out With a Population of 0
The Beginning of Lordship Life
Like doing a useful job for people.
That's my mother's cliché and will.
Be a man who can protect the weak.
That's my father's cliché and will.
Twenty-five years after they died of an epidemic disease when I was 10, I have lived desperately to make sure that I had nothing to be ashamed of both of them according to my parents' will.
He lived five years putting together orphans who had lost their parents to epidemic diseases just like himself, cleaning up the city and earning a dime, getting a small amount of food with the help of farming, and sometimes hunting monsters who showed up near the city, getting bounty money to feed their lives.
That's how I turned 15...... all of a sudden why. The war started between the country I live in and my neighbors, and my country lost a series of battles.
Lose, lose, keep losing, enemy soldiers push me closer to the city where I live... and that's how the neighboring soldiers started looting in front of the city where I live.
In advance of that act, I became a volunteer to defend my parents' will... to fight to protect everyone from such neighboring soldiers... and from then on I fought on the battlefield for 20 years.
One day at the end of the winter when I turned 35, some sort of negotiation with my neighbor ended in his favor and a declaration of an end to the war was issued from the country... and I don't know why, if I realized it, but I had become a hero of the Redemption.
I was totally unconscious, but apparently I was only brilliant at battle talent, and I was doing things differently than others. The fact that the negotiations were concluded in my favor also had a significant impact on the outcome of the war.
Then I ended up living a confused day of being praised by the people I meet.
I was praised by the fellows who fought with me, by the knights who led the soldiers, by the people of the city who abhorred us orphans, and even by the great men of the country who seemed to be doing some great work.
Praised by all sorts of people, praised and continued to be praised, to the point where at the end of the quotation he was to be praised by the King, who praised me in difficult terms and even began to say that he would give me territory.
One of the great men who stood near the king, who was not sure what the hell it was like to have a territory, but who lived in a corner territory on a raven to protect the inhabitants and to collect money from the inhabitants and give it to the king, politely told me.
As soon as I got the territory, it was common sense to go to the territory, so I was half forced to leave the King's capital unprepared by the hands of the officials to push into the carriage.
A month watched over by officials who hate me furiously if they do.
A cramped life continues where you are not allowed to leave the carriage except when you sleep with… One afternoon I raise my voice that your lord has finally arrived at his destination.
While the officials complained about this, I was kicked out of the carriage, and that's how I got off to the realm.
In a seemingly central part of the territory, he stood up bluntly scratching his parents' conceded blonde hair... looking around and getting an official's explanation of where to from my territory.
Officials point to a meadow where green grass grows, and their fingers sooo slip to the side... and the meadow beyond.
They say the meadows and meadows that stretch out in front of me, and the meadows are my territory.
Instead of what the people look like, we don't even see artifacts in this meadow.
Officials utter words with what an unpleasant smile on my face as I continue to look at such a meadow in awe.
"That's a good territory for an orphan's upbringing mon, work hard fine but good.
The name of this meadow is Nets Roth...... Was your name Diaz?
Then from today on, you're Diaz Netzroth. "
That said, the officials left the meadow with the carriage because their work was done... and I was to stand alone in the meadow.
I don't see any of the inhabitants that the great one said... and instead of the inhabitants, I don't see the house I live in around me either.
After realizing that I haven't eaten yet today... I've come to the idea of what to do with the meal, and I look around again, but naturally I don't see any of the things that are going to be food.
Speaking of what I have, a big double-edged battle axe that I used a lot on the battlefield and... after that, it's like wearing cloth, worn out boots and scratchy iron armor, and there's nothing to eat...
Thus began my… lord's life in a meadow that was just vast, with no inhabitants, no houses, no even food.
