Chapter 37: Meditation
Meditation is not just closing one’s eyes and clearing the mind of all thoughts. Meditation involves recognizing all the limits of one’s own body and, depending on how it is performed, meditation heals fatigue and restores energy as if the person had slept for many hours. As long as the person knows all the principles and uses their own Ki in the process, Haru always skipped classes and meditated in an amateurish way.
Mio was observing the eye movements he was making, as well as how his naked body reacted to the cold floor of the room. She looked at Hina, who was watching Haru. She was feeling slightly disappointed.

"Do you think this will work?" Hina asked.
"I believe so, I remember my childhood, my father used to do this with me all the time, he always used his energy to improve the flow of my energy and that solved many problems I had with meditation, little by little it became something natural for me."
"He doesn’t consume any pills, he probably doesn’t even know the difference between pills or anything like that."
Mio turned around and looked at him, she was a little worried, although he was strong, he was still a little negligent and this would only bring problems in the future. She did not want to end the team’s formation, but if he continued like this, the only solution would be to find someone else to take his place, even though he was the most useful one so far.
Not that she was someone who would betray her own friends, but she had plans that went far beyond exploring dungeons, which was why she offered to help Haru with the gambling, what she wanted involved a lot of money and many expensive armors and weapons so she could join the army and quickly rise through the ranks.
"You seem much more worried than usual, did something happen?" Hina asked.

A glow appeared on Haru’s body, it was a very soft glow, almost imperceptible, Mio turned off the room’s light and the glow became easier to see.
That was Mio’s Ki responding.
"He reached the second level," Mio said, unable to believe what she was seeing.
"So he does have a little talent, he’s just very lazy."
He awakened, his muscles were less sore and he felt as if he had slept.
"How do you feel?"
"Fine, it’s just a little uncomfortable to keep my mind turned off, but I think I’ll be able to deal with it."
"Now I want you to meditate for a few minutes every day before you come to the guild, or for as long as you can. You stayed focused for fifteen minutes, but with time and practice you may be able to stay for a few hours and who knows, you might even replace a few hours of sleep with meditation."
Haru got dressed and went with Hina to the new house, they began moving, little by little the house was different and had less of the appearance of a prostitute’s house.
Haru discreetly took the coin pouch and removed the hundred copper, silver, and gold coins. He stored the coins in his inventory without Hina being able to see.
Hina was responsible for organizing and he was responsible for carrying the furniture, he was not that strong, but he could handle the work well. Hina was much more organized than him, even though she left her panties scattered anywhere around the house and other clothes on the floor.

The pleasure of winning had disappeared, he gambled for the excitement, he could win or lose the money, with his ability, losing became more of a choice or some casual event.
The class system did not seem to like it, although it was not a living being, the system had desires and even a personality, it was like a fat man who spent the day sitting in an armchair and only got up to go to the bathroom or eat. Haru not gambling was as if the system was no longer being fed, the warnings were ways for the system to keep itself alive. Haru understood the feeling, he promised that every day he would make some bets and become stronger and richer, the fat man seemed happy.
