4.6 Billion Year Symphony of Evolution

Chapter 4650 - Gathering Point

"What exactly is cognitive ......?"

It is said that the perception here is not entirely true either.

Some ersh folk have discovered this ...... like the sun can appear out of thin air, that other things can too.

Some ersh folk have discovered that they can still live even when they go into the void.

Since the Eshmin have knowledge of most of the things that can sustain their lives, some of them can still be alive when they reach the Void.

In this 'Cognitive Armageddon' space, there was a group of Rushmen who had discovered this.

When they found that the things around them were different from their original perception, they tried to get rid of this phenomenon by any means possible.

Escaping the surface was the final solution they came up with.

Since their perceptions continued to be affected no matter where they went, the group felt that this distortion of their perceptions would take effect on the entire surface.

The group tried to leave the surface, and then they found a vehicle for empty space tourism.

The Ersch Min of this era had embarked on a Void Tourism Tour, which actually consisted of flying to near-Earth orbit for a stroll.

And whether it was luck or bad luck, this group of Eshmin had no relevant practitioners, but they had figured out a way to start the flying machine, and the flying machine itself was not damaged, so it could be started intact.

Although they wouldn't be able to drive it at all, since the cognitive apocalypse was constantly affecting them, causing them to go crazy trying to get out of here, and the fact that the flying machine had an autopilot mode, they just took a ride on it and flew off into the void.

The aircraft was set to auto-pilot mode, and it would have taken the group of Eshminians around the void and flown back, but something seemed to have gone wrong at the time, and instead of returning to the surface, the aircraft kept flying into deep space.

But the main concern of these ersh folk was that the cognitive apocalypse was still not over when they flew out.

They noticed that things around them had been getting weird, so this group of ersh folk ...... all went crazy.

This is rather similar to some movie scenes where the ersh folk in the aircraft start killing each other in a state of insanity, and these ersh folk kill their companions ...... or something that is no longer completely visible to them in their perception, and then they throw the bodies out into the void.

Some of the ershmin also jumped out on their own and let themselves float out into the void to die ...... but they found that they were not dead.

Instead, some of the ershmin just kept floating there, but some ...... floated to this place.

This place where the skull of what appeared to be a giant ershmin from the outside.

This skull was called the 'Skull of All Change'.

It was a place where creatures affected by the cognitive apocalypse gathered, and the various things that wandered around here were all affected creatures ...... they were species that had been living in the normal void, but were trapped in the space of the cognitive apocalypse.

The Skull of All Change can be considered their 'salvation', as each creature here sees a different shape.

The Eshmin see the appearance of their own skulls, while other creatures see a different shape.

No matter how deeply they are affected by the cognitive apocalypse, this all-changing skull will remain changed, and its shape will not be unified.

So looking at it, there was also a sense that their own perceptions hadn't been completely distorted.

Of course these creatures aren't just gathered here to 'maintain their self-awareness', they also intend to destroy Cognitive Doom.

They think there is a way to kill the creature Cognitive Doom .......

Some of the creatures also feel that Cognitive Doom is not a creature, but probably a special rule of this space or something.

In any case, the first step in resistance is to resist this rule and keep the mind from being completely affected by viewing the Cranium of All Change.

These creatures would communicate with each other, telling each other what they saw the Cranes of Change look like, and they were using this to confirm that each different creature saw the Cranes of Change look different.

However, aside from the point of seeing the Cranium of All Change, the cognition of the creatures here has been completely synchronized, which is why they can communicate.

A portion of the creatures have invented ways to communicate by using their altered senses of being cognitively doomed to understand their surroundings.

The first group of creatures to arrive here are considered the founders of this resistance, and they have ways to communicate with any creature that has been affected by the cognitive apocalypse, which is why they came up with this idea of destroying the cognitive apocalypse.

But the Cranes of Change are said to have been here much earlier than the earliest of these creatures.

As to why exactly the Cranium of Change is here ...... they don't know, but they have now transformed the Cranium of Change into a fortress with great firepower.

It will automatically attack some of the approaching ...... enemy forces.

The enemy troops were some cognitive apocalyptic 'troops', and the Cranes of Change could automatically determine what cognitive apocalyptic troops were.

The flying machine that Lynn and Sharlene had assembled before was judged by it to be an enemy force, and it was still unclear as to why.

Usually ...... enemy troops were very ferocious things that would immediately attack the Cranes of Change as they approached.

Creatures as small as Lynn and Sarine, on the other hand, it wouldn't react, seemingly because the enemy army was never that small.

"So that's how it is."

After this introduction by Erschmin, Saeryn said, "So we're going to meet the first creature that came here."

"It doesn't care much for us," Ershmin said, "Although it will tell every creature that comes in here something about this place, it doesn't care about us next."

"There are a lot of smaller creatures besides me, and it just lets us float around here to fend for ourselves,"

Eshmin said, "It only cares about the stronger creatures."

"That's as it should be," Saeryn said, "You just look weak." .

"But ......" Ershmin suddenly became a bit agitated, "Didn't you guys float here just like me? And why do you keep it the way it is? Have you been affected by the change in perception?"

"Not quite the same," Saeryn said, "Let's check it out first anyway."

After parting with this ershmin, Lynn and Sarine flew to the location of their target.

The creators of the organization that fought against cognitive apocalypse and were the first creatures to arrive at the Cranium of All Change, these creatures looked quite conspicuous.

From a distance, they looked like a large pile of cards dozens of meters in size, floating near the center of the Cranium of All Change.
