4.6 Billion Year Symphony of Evolution

The solidified void ...... was not solidified a long time ago.

The creatures there lived in a way that resembled a normal void.

But after the spread of silence it was different.

Particle organisms are observed in the space of the cognitive apocalypse.

Since the stellar pipeline ceased to function completely in the cognitive apocalypse, the silence has not been stopped, and its sphere of influence has continued to spread.

Many civilizations have disappeared, and in a somewhat different way than before.

But it was a little different than before.

All kinds of things in the Void were slowly stopping 'moving'.

There were only extinct civilizations on these tumblers, nothing special for a long time, but since it could only look at these places, it had to keep looking.

It was as if everything was fixed, until a very long time passed.

It found that a little change had occurred ...... At first it was just like small cracks in the stone, but this small change also made it very excited.

Of course this change is also very slow, perhaps hundreds of ersh years before a little bit appears.

But even then, it would make it feel like time was no longer fixed.

Then these small changes began to increase slowly, and it noticed that something was moving.

These things were peculiar, they moved a little and then waited a very long time to stop moving, these things looked like rocks, but it slowly noticed that this was not like ordinary rocks.

They are the creatures of .......

This is probably the first solidified creature, and they are a very 'long' creature.

Hundreds and hundreds of thousands of ersh years were active for only a few seconds and then immediately stopped, the particle creature didn't know why they were born, but it understood the life pattern of these creatures.

They are mainly able to take advantage of an environment in which everything around them has stopped.

The moment they are slightly active is the moment when there is energy and nutrients and so on around them that they can absorb, and after absorbing this little bit of energy, they stop themselves and wait a long time for new energy to come.

Since they can't see what's going on inside their bodies, the particles don't understand how they work.

But the number of such creatures born on the ruins that have stopped is slowly increasing .......

They were all extremely slow things in the beginning, and that lasted a long time.

They have maintained this pattern of life.

Perhaps for these creatures themselves, their lives are continuous.

Because everything is suspended ...... including their minds, they can't feel the change of time, only the moment they wake up.

And there is no 'evolution' in these creatures.

But these creatures are not the only ones who can move around in suspension, there is also the 'energy' that these creatures eat.

At first the particle creature did not notice this energy, but then it changed the way it observed it.

It found that by adjusting its cognitive endgame in some way, it could observe some food that it had not noticed before.

This food looked like floating dust, not produced by these tumblers themselves, but floating here from the 'void' out there, very long before it appeared.

The energy is said to be mainly because this stuff occasionally changes form and is somewhat unstable, in fact the particles are unknown to the creatures, but can sustain these creatures.

But if they can stop themselves completely, then they shouldn't need to sustain life either.

What is the meaning of their life? Is it just for the moment of waking up?

Particulate organisms have a similar concept of life in general as cellular organisms, thinking that life is supposed to have the property of growing and reproducing.

Although these first solidified organisms allowed it to see some of the biological characteristics, it has always wondered ...... whether they are real organisms, and if so, why they were born and why they continue on as they do.

This thought has been with it for a long time, and in fact it thinks about these things most of the time.

Because it doesn't sleep on its own, it doesn't have anything else to do.

Only, boredom does not make the pellet creature feel bad, so it can spend very long periods of boredom.

In its observation, these creatures don't reproduce or change either, although they become more numerous but for some reason ...... just goes on for a long time.

Until it found some creatures that accelerated even more.

These creatures were not born from this tumbler either, but came from a distance.

Their intervals of activity were much shorter and more violent than that of the earliest slow creatures, which had originally come by way of something like a meteorite crashing to the surface, and the debris crawling out of the impact was this new group of creatures.

More like creatures than the original creatures of this tumbler, they have limb-like structures to crawl on the ground.

They are also mostly stationary, though they have been waking up once every few tens of years.

They also feed on that 'energy', and when they wake up, they move quickly, spending tens of seconds chasing that energy.

And these creatures ...... particle creatures can see their internal structure.

It found that some things it could 'see through' and some it could not.

Through observation, it discovered that this 'energy' is not actually their life-sustaining nourishment.

It is a sort of fixed ...... 'time bomb' so to speak.

When the energy is inhaled by a creature, it is stored in a special organ and then goes into a state of 'settling', where the energy is completely still.

The creature then stops as the energy stops as well.

After dozens of eras, this stored energy may suddenly explode, like an explosion, which consumes the energy but also allows the creatures to move for tens of seconds.

They will frantically collect the energy during this period of activity and wait for the next explosion.

If they fail to collect it, the creature is plunged into a permanent halt, never to move again.

The pellet creatures realize that the creatures themselves are not meant to eat, but only to collect for the next time they are able to move.

They don't need to eat themselves, or can't ...... but on second thought, this energy can be said to be food.

The earliest organisms were of this form, and later they became more and more complex.

They constitute a special ecology, which seems difficult for granular organisms to understand.
