48 Hours a Day

Chapter 185: Make a Price

Seven days have elapsed since Malcolm's warning, and Karina has actually felt a little uneasy, albeit relaxed, in front of others, but nothing has happened in the following days.

The captains of the used cargo exchange still lined up with dragons and cooperated privately with Karina were not warned by the League of Black Merchants. After a while, when the wind was almost over, their minds were revitalized and they began to believe what the female merchants had said before. Malcolm did not want to really deal with the matter and push them to the opposite end of the League of Black Merchants.

Then someone started visiting Karina in secret.

Yet, just as everything was about to get better, suddenly there was bad news.

Karina woke up from her dreams and couldn't even get dressed. She ran barefoot to the pier with her pajamas on, but it was already late at night and the beach surrounded a lot of people.

Honig, who was in charge of the island's defence, was also present and was confronted by a group of people.

However, the eyes of the crowd were mostly concentrated on the two sailboats at the port, which had never appeared on the island before, just like the group of people coming down from the boat, but the solid hull, the black cannons and the black flag flying on the mast all proved their identity.

This is a group of new pirates and powerful.

No new pirates had stopped in Nassau before, or since Nassau became famous, more and more pirates had chosen to come here to provide supplies, and the residents of Nassau were reasonably no longer surprised.

This time, however, the situation was special because the guys were so arrogant that they fired two shots before entering the harbour. It was good that they were only shooting at an unmanned beach, but even then, many people were caught in a cold sweat.

Hornig frowned, "Which one of you is the captain? ”

A man with a mermaid tattooed on his arm was directing two of his men to stick wood on the beach and heard rumors coming out of the crowd.

“What's your name? ”

“Captain Wilton, just call me Wilton, but I hear the merchants I robbed prefer to call me Wilton the Executioner.” The man drew a knife from the waist and the pirates behind Honig immediately raised their guns.

Wilton smiled and pulled another apple out of his arms, peeling it with a knife.

Hornig was unchanged, faint, “Executioner? Never heard of it. ”

Wilton bites the apple, “No blame, because I rob people who never leave them alive, and people who know that name are basically dead. ”

He spoke of this cruelty in an indifferent tone, and his eyes were filled with pleasure, and even those pirates on the beach who had endured years of fighting could not help but breathe a hint of chill into their hearts.

As an elder in Nassau, Hornig, once a captain named after Blackbeard and the Black Prince, would not be frightened by a few words in the district, chilling, "I don't care who you are, where you come from, dare to fire another shell at this place, I can assure you that your story is over. ”

Unexpectedly, Wilton behaved politely this time, dropping the knife in his hand and saying, “We didn't know the rules yet. If there's anything offensive, I'd like to apologize for it. When we sailed before, we always heard legends about it. We just wanted to see this place called the pirate's hometown. ”

See each other in soft Honig, wave hands, let the people behind you put away the guns, “Nassau is a free and open place, as long as you don't get in trouble, you will certainly be welcome here. ”

He was about to leave, but I didn't expect a voice from behind him, "Captain Honig, I think there seems to be a rule on the island that pirates can't attack black market merchants. ”

Karina was the one who opened the door, and her face was full of anxiety, because the Breeze, which was supposed to be in North Carolina, stopped at the port of Nassau, in the two new pirate ships, before the one who went to inform her that the Breeze had returned with the two pirate ships.

There was only one possibility that the Breeze had been hijacked, and that was why Karina was so anxious, that the cargo on board was still the second, and that she was most worried about the safety of the crew, such as Marlon.

Hornig stopped, and he noticed the breeze next to him, asking Wilton, "Did you rob her boat? ”

The latter shrugged, “We're pirates. Isn't robbing merchant ships a biblical thing? ”

Hornig looked at the businesswoman again, "You better give her back the boat. ”

“Otherwise? ”

“Otherwise, I'm afraid you won't be able to sell loot to her again. ”

Wilton smiled, "Thank you for your reminder, I think we'll find a way to fix this. ”

Hornig didn't say anything more, Karina opened her eyes and stopped Hornig again, looking incredible, "Is that all? ”

The latter raised his eyebrows, “Didn't you black market merchants already have a black business alliance? Now it's up to you, and technically they're not violating the island's rules, because they weren't pirates on the island when they robbed you. ”

He pulled out the sleeve that was caught by the businesswoman, “I'm sorry, I'm only responsible for the overall safety of the island, and this is not within my jurisdiction. ”

Looking behind Hornig's departure, Karina's face appeared helpless and she looked around at the crowd, many of whom had sold her things at a second-hand goods exchange, but now she seemed to turn her head silently.

Wilton's gang is not easy to mess with at first glance. Without the second-hand goods trading office, everyone will have less money exchange channels in the future, but it will always be better than being strong enough to die.

Karina looked around and didn't think the last person to ask was Wilton, and he smiled at the breeze not far away, "Is that your boat? ”

The businesswoman turned back and said angrily, "Malcolm, vice president of the Tango Black Business Federation, would have used only such indiscriminate methods against me. I warn you, if anything happened to the people on that boat, I would have sworn to take all of you...”

Her words were interrupted by Wilton before she finished, "I don't know what the League of Black Merchants is, and I don't care about the grudges between you, but it looks like you are the owner of that ship. Great. I was just about to make a deal with you. ”

Karina was so angry, she said, "You stole my ship and you want to do business with me? ”

“Why not?” Wilton scratched his neck, "you always swap money for loot, and I have a special batch of merchandise that should only be paid for by you. ”

He clapped his hands and a few pirates rowed the boat back to the boat. After a while, he brought four more men with him. Karina recognized the four men as crew members on the Breeze and tied their hands and feet, but saw that they were safe and sound, and the businesswoman relieved herself, but Wilton's words shook her in anger.

“Ah, here comes the goods, give me a price. ”
