48 Hours a Day

Chapter 443: Are you in a hurry?

Just a minute ago, Vincent lost contact with the coffee man.

The drone came back with a final image of a man on the side of a coffee man being shot down by an unidentified sniper, and the last two drones being shot down.

Black nest technicians face each other, no one has spoken for a long time, only Vincent still has no expression on his face.

“Do your job and don't make me repeat it again.” In the end, Vincent's voice broke the silence.

People were also relieved to hear that, Vincent had been directing the Black Nest operation until the Coffee Man took over, and his speech had allowed others to find the main bone, clean up their moods and get back into the work at hand, and his previous shock and panic had been diluted a lot.

Vincent himself, however, was not as calm as he appeared to be.

In fact, he was almost as angry as he felt.

Although he was dissatisfied with the coffeeman's psychotic behavior of knowing it was a trap to trample on, when the latter made his decision, he did not drag his legs back to make the trip. Instead, he dispatched a team of the most integrated combat team to the other party's command, accompanied by Abu, who had the best sniping skills.

As a result, he didn't expect a coffee man to behave so badly, but with such a luxurious lineup he lost more than anyone else, and Vincent couldn't help but suspect that the coffee man had come to pit himself intentionally.

Moreover, the cafe man's hanging was irrelevant, which was tantamount to disrupting all his previous arrangements. There was nothing wrong with the technician, but the operator seemed a little overstretched, and Vincent, helpless, had to wear it again, taking out his vest and his favorite M17.

Black nests occupy an absolute upper hand in the armed forces, but they also have their own disadvantages as conservatives.

Vincent did not know what mode of transport Edward was waiting for to use to get to Toulouse, so he could only disperse his own personnel in various places, including airports, stations, and highways, while he was in the middle of the command and opportunity. The other thing is relying on Zero's powerful surveillance capability, hoping to find a target in the middle of nowhere.

…………

Louis is a leading correspondent for Le Monde, famous for excelling in government and business scandals, and the former Managing Director of the International Monetary Fund, Strauss Kahn, was forced to resign because of his exposure to sexual scandal, in addition to which former Prime Minister François' wife was exposed for a short time after he was busy tracking the use of aid from a large welfare agency.

Louis received a secret tip that the welfare agency was suspected of high procurement and financial fraud, and that a significant portion of the donations went to the Chairman and Vice-Chairman's own luggage.

In the meantime, however, Louis received a strange e-mail in which he refused to disclose the contents of what he said was in his hands.

At first, Louis did not take this message to heart, because he received many emails every day in his press reputation, but the vast majority of senders were actually just having trouble with what they called "big things” themselves.

Louis sympathizes with what happened to them, but he's not Batman, he doesn't want to do justice for everyone, and Louis would rather focus limited attention on the real things that have far-reaching implications than the dilemmas faced by individuals.

But soon he smelled something unusual.

The mysterious sender seemed to know what he was thinking and sent him another e-mail, which was no longer a public e-mail address on his network, but another secret e-mail address he used to contact several special explosives.

And this email finally caught Louis' attention, and his sixth sense as a journalist told him that a big fish was probably hooked this time.

Subsequently, the two exchanged keys and began to communicate via encrypted mail.

And Louis' hunch was met again, and the more he knew, the more shocked Louis was, and he was aware of the dangers involved.

The forces of the Black Nest are not just a multinational group, several consortia are so simple, their tentacles are spread across the political and commercial spectrum, and once CTOS is successfully launched, they can easily take control of the whole of Europe.

Louis immediately dropped the job at hand and arranged an appointment with Edward to meet him at the time and place.

He brought a cameraman with him, along with an interview with the editor of a large online forum, and a very famous documentary director, with six members of the entire interview team.

They departed together from Paris on a plane to Toulouse.

Everyone's anxious legs were numb when they landed, before they had learned what happened to the newspaper advance team, and the three interns as bait had done their job well.

So it's up to them, and Louis looks at Pierre in the next seat, who's his old partner, and no matter how dangerous the situation is, there's a way to help him finish the shoot.

“Are you ready? Pierre. ”

The lights were lit on the airport runway outside the window, Pierre didn't say anything, he just nodded and gave an OK gesture. He had been a war journalist in Iraq for some time before Louis became famous, and he knew Pierre there.

Since both of them survived the Gulf War, it makes no sense not to survive this investigation.

“Let's get started. ”

As the plane stalled, the flight began to remind passengers to carry their luggage, and the adventure belonging to the Six also opened.

…………

Power outages are rare because airports typically use dual-circuit power and may also be equipped with more than one backup power supply system.

But tonight the terminal at Blagnac Airport is in the dark.

The airport evacuated tourists on an emergency basis while trying to find the cause of the blackout. The situation at the scene was a bit confusing and no one knew whose foot was being stepped on.

Vincent, who had received the information, immediately acted, giving the order, while having the driver start the command car, but the next moment a strange voice came from his comms.

“Mr. Vincent, are you in a hurry? ”

Vincent frowned, "Are you the one who killed Abu? ”

“Yes, yes, in order to avoid repeating that unpleasant scene before, I strongly suggest you stay where you are now.” The sound channel on the other side of the transmitter.

“What if I refuse? ”

The next moment I answered him was a bullet that directly blew up a tire on the mpv.

“This time it was just a warning that if Mr. Vincent were to walk alone, the next bullet would probably fall on you.” The voice was calm.
