Chapter 917: Knocking on the Door

Han Lu locked the door and deliberately stood behind the door for a while, putting his eyes on the cat's eye and observing the situation in the corridor.

This time, however, there was no strange knocking and no one walked past her door.

Then Han Lu walked up to the window and checked to see if the window was tight and even read the English fire precautions on the wall.

Although it seemed quiet with the island at night, for some reason Han Lu's heart was always haunted by a sense of insecurity.

Nellie once said that security on the island had always been good and that there had been almost no criminal cases, because the island was so big that people on the island basically knew each other and had committed crimes, and as long as the cards were set up at the airport and at the pier, the prisoners could not escape.

So this island has always been the safest place in Japan.

This is how Han Lu comforted herself. Although she discovered that the island's garrison was most likely linked to those monsters at the bottom of the ocean, from the reaction of the other side, no drastic measures had been taken against her and Nellie for the time being, either by taking the SD card or by disappearing the tunnel at the bottom of the ocean by some means that were merely covering up the truth from the point of view of eliminating physical evidence.

This is also why Han Lu judged herself to be safe for the time being, because if the other party wanted to do something to her, it was perfectly possible to detain or kill her when she and Nellie first came outside the military base, otherwise there was no need to bother to think about the scene behind the show.

But Han Lu was a little upset tonight.

In an effort to relieve anxiety, Han Lu also turned on the TV and switched to a channel that was broadcasting a comprehensive art show. Although she didn't understand what the people were saying, turning the volume up did relax Han Lu a little.

The group deliberately set some dilemmas for some young couples, and then the host and celebrity guests watched how those little couples solved those dilemmas, spitting and laughing all the time, and similar shows were always good in Japan.

However, Han Lu herself didn't really like this kind of show. The reason she moved the TV station here was purely because of the liveliness on the other side of the screen, and this was officially needed by Han Lu alone on the island. She barely watched it for a while, but her mind wasn't on it. Rather than watching the show, she said she was stuck on TV.

And by about 10 o'clock, the receptionist called and told her that there was likely to be heavy rain later in the evening, reminding her to close the doors and windows.

Han Lu Xie, around 10: 30, she simply took a bath, mainly washing off the skin and the salt grains on her hair, from the dive to now she has not had time to clean up, now she is going to sleep, she can not drag on.

But Han Lu opened the bathroom door to take a bath, so that she could hear anything in the room.

At 11: 00, Han Lu finally blew her hair dry after bathing and climbed into bed, but then she hesitated and didn't turn off the TV.

But the show was over, and now it's a TV show.

Han Lu lay on his back on the bed and could hear the thunder outside. Shortly after, the rain dropped from the sky, knocking on the window glass and making a ticking sound.

And Han Lu listened to the rain and the sound of the TV show gradually gained some sleep.

She had a horrible day, both underwater and ashore, and Han Lu had nightmares after falling asleep, dreaming that Zhang Heng had been fed by the monsters underwater, so that even the body could not be found.

And just when Han Lu didn't know how to tell Zhang Heng's parents, she was woken up by a gentle knock.

Han Lu sat up from the bed, wondering if the sound came from reality or dreams.

But less than half a minute later, as if answering her questions, there was another new knock.

Han Lu walked out of bed without slippers and walked barefoot to the door. She tried not to make any noise, then leaned over her body, lay on her cat's eye and looked out.

But immediately after that, she felt a chill and ran from the soles of her feet onto her spine.

As in the previous one, the cat's eyes were still dark and nothing was visible. Never mind, the guy knocking on the door glued her cat's eyes again.

This time, Han Lu felt full of malice. If it weren't for the storm outside, she would have even had the urge to snatch the window.

Han Lu retreated and looked around for something that could be used as a weapon, but what surprised her was the next moment, the guy outside the door opened her door lock directly!

Later, the pin next to the door was opened with a knife.

Han Lu was almost screamed out by this sudden thrill, but then the uninterrupted guests outside the door rushed directly on foot, covered her mouth, and then pulled the hat off the rain cape on her head.

Under that hat is Zhang Heng, who is already considered by Han Lu to be “the least fierce”.

Han Lu can't believe his eyes!

Although there was always a glimmer of hope in her heart that there might still be some possibility, even if only theoretically, that Zhang Heng was still alive, only Han Lu himself knew how small that might be, almost as miraculous as a miracle.

But now, this miracle is really in front of her.

Zhang Heng made a silent gesture against Han Lu, then circled the house, touched several coin-sized bugs, Zhang Heng threw the bug into his room next door, closed the door, and then dragged a unconscious man into Han Lu's room.

“Who is this?” Han Lu asked.

“The militia are also the ones who knock on your room and tape your cat's eye.” Zhang Heng replied.

“Ah?” said Han Lu, surprised. She didn't expect her analysis to be wrong. “People of the militia, aren't they trying to hide the existence of those monsters, why are they doing this to me again? ”

“This may have happened before, but things have changed now, and when I get out of that undersea palace, they will certainly want to control you to continue negotiating with me.” Zhang Hengdao.

“How did you get out of the sea?” Han Lu couldn't figure it out, "we still didn't see your shadow when we got back on the boat. Nellie said your cylinder was probably exhausted, and we all thought you were dead. ”

“It's a long story.” Zhang Heng blinked, “To be honest, I didn't quite get it. I don't know how to explain it well, and before we do, we'd better get off the island. ”
