A Chronicle of Life in a Different World

Episode 127: "Castle Collapse" Part 7

The "Castle Collapse" giant sinks to the ground. While listening to the roar, Reurus held his red sword.

I don't think so, but even if you slash it like a lizard's tail, it could move. The giant worm died when it was slashed near his head, but the Castle Collapse wasn't necessarily the same.

"Hmm!

Should I slay it before it starts moving, Reus slashes the body of the "Castle Collapse". I cut the giant head rolling on the ground in two by chopping off my neck, and then knocked it into my torso twice or three times.

I never wanted to reconfirm the sharpness of the red sword. It is a chase for caution. There was something very sweet about the sharpness in both hands, but Reurus exhaled a lot after he wanted to cut it even more.

"... did you win?"

I don't know if I would have won without the big red sword. This victory was, after all, close to being pushed by a high-powered weapon. It would have been difficult to escape without a weapon capable of slashing the "Castle Collapse".

It was the Reurus who survived, and they had nothing to say in that regard.

"Huh? Is it over? Well, what's my turn? I was just adjusting the thermal power in front of the furnace!? Here it is, bash and bow! Isn't this where my flame magic sprays fire!?

"When you bake the meat, spray as much fire as you like... No, don't you have time for long barbecues?

Sarah waves her arms to reveal her dissatisfaction with the lack of action in combat. Sure enough, with Sarah's flame magic, we might have had more room to win, but the battle is over.

After looking sideways at Sarah, Reurus checked the surrounding “tragedy.”

It seems like a terrible, truly tragic situation. When the "Castle Collapse" broke out, the surrounding trees were knocked down and the ground was dug back. You can't call it "The Lost Forest" at the earliest.

"Mr. Reurus!

Well, what do we do now? It was a worrying revulsion, but as Meer with Eliza came running, she turned to you.

"... what happened to Eliza?

"Looks like I ran out of magic... I fainted when I finished my second round of magic."

Reurus peeked into Eliza's face and fainted with a faint expression that seemed reassuring. I wonder if it's because of the huge wand that Meer brought with her.

I wanted to compliment you, but if you fainted, there's nothing you can do about it. Reurus takes Sarah's sheath of the great sword and slowly puts the big red sword in the sheath. There was no blood or fat on it, so I thought I could keep it in the sheath.

Still, I thought in one corner of my head that I needed to learn more about weapon care. I wouldn't spare any effort to take care of this new partner.

"Whoa... what happened?

"Dew!? What is this guy...."

"Is this the 'Castle Collapse'? Why are you being rounded up....."

Reurus and the others exchanged words, and the dwarves who thought they were in the settlement rushed in. Although they were each armed, they were stunned when they saw the "castle collapse" that stopped breathing.

"Oh my god... no, it's better?

If "Castle Crash" moves towards the dwarves, I don't know if I can protect them. I suppose that was the correct answer because the reinforcements were late. As Reurus thought about it, the dwarves approached as they looked around.

"But this is awesome....."

The woods are a mess.

The dwarves looked at the tragedy of the Lost Forest and looked complicated. It is not difficult to imagine that it would have taken a lot of effort and time to maintain it so far. It will take a long time to get back to the original Lost Forest.

However, it was thought that human soldiers would come to see what was going on before the Lost Forest was restored. If the forest turns into such a mess on such a large scale, we should be able to ascertain what kind of lord it is.

(I retreated once, but the soldiers suspected this forest.....)

You won't get lost in the Lost Forest at the earliest. Rather, even at this time, it was possible that the soldiers were approaching after the "castle collapse".

"You were right to move on...."

"Ah... that's impossible. The humans will come before they can be undone."

I'm sorry to say that the dwarves decided it would be difficult to stay in the settlement. Originally, a giant worm dug a hole in this part of the house, but in addition to the arrival of the "Castle Collapse", we should probably run away when it comes to humans.

Fortunately, we were prepared to move ourselves, so we could quickly escape, but it is hard for Dwarves to leave the place where they lived for many years.

"All right, when that happens, I'll run away."

What about the guy who's blacksmithing and sleeping?

"Well then, you... you're going to have trouble carrying it, and you're going to leave it behind."

However, the speed of switching is also characteristic of dwarfs. The dwarves watched "Lost Forest" for decades, but soon decided to move.

Leaving a sleeping dwarf would be a joke.

"... whatever I say, it's light."

It's been less than a year since we started living here, but if we move from the abandoned city of Laval to another place, Reus thinks it's going to be the end of the line.

It is still easy to understand if that is the reason for "irresistible” such as natural disasters, but if the monster is forced to move due to the attack, it is likely to slay the monster that caused it.

"What are you talking about, Reurus? I'll fix the broken ones, and if that's impossible, you can make them again. That's what our settlement is all about."

One of the dwarves laughed, but Reus leaned his neck. Is it the opinions of Dwarves who are good at making things around here?

"The next settlement needs more help."

"Want to set a trap?

"No, no, I don't know what to do with the place first."

The dwarves, who quickly began to think about how to build the next settlement, laughed unexpectedly. I would like you to share it with me.

"Hey Reurus, by the way... what about this big monster? You want me to leave it here?

I was impressed by the speed with which the dwarves made their decision, but Sarah asked me and I looked real.

"Gu... I know you need to leave now, but I don't know if you're going to leave such a big meat... just check the taste for now"

If you try to eat up the "Castle Collapse", it will take a long time for a real Reurus. Rather, it should rot overwhelmingly faster.

For this reason, Reus slices his hand into the torso of the "castle collapse" and pulls the meat. And he took it straight to his mouth and started eating it raw.

"Ah!? Hold on a sec! I'll burn it! I'll bake it!"

"... no, yeah, don't boil it... it tastes worse than the worms I've been eating before..."

If you have time, you can't eat it if you bake it and shake the salt. However, the smell and taste of earth were too strong even in raw meat.

It is difficult to leave the corner food behind, but given the danger of soldiers rushing, there is no time to eat long.

"I didn't hesitate to eat raw...."

"No, I guess not now...."

"For now... you should be hesitant."

The dwarfs secretly interact with each other, but when Reurus turns his gaze, he turns away from each other.

"For now, Reurus, even if you leave the meat behind, the skin will peel off. There's a lot of ore stuck to it, just peel it off."

Is it to distract from the story or is it true? One of the dwarves changed the subject. If you look at the body of the "Castle Collapse" with Reus on the topic, it is true that there is a large amount of ore attached.

"I don't know when the soldiers are coming, so hurry up.

"Wow. If we get half ready to move, we can leave in an hour."

That said, the dwarves quickly began to strip the Ore from the "Castle Collapse" body. Considering that we are moving, we have selected only those that seem to have high rare value, but what we are doing is not the same as eviction.

"Meat... my turn..."

"There's always a chance to bake meat..."?

For some reason, it was a revulsion that stroked Sarah's head, but the stone that caught her eyes was rolling at her feet, so she stopped her feet unexpectedly.

The size is not so big, and the smaller the whole thing seems to be hidden just by grasping the revus. There was little gloss, but it had a bright rugged color, and it seemed to give off a good gloss when polished.

Hmm? What is that stone? "

"I don't know. I can't feel the magic..."

Is it just a colored stone or a gemstone? Seeing the stone, Reurus felt a slight stimulation to the memory of the previous life.

(La... la... la? La... what?

I think it was a kind of jewelry, but I don't know anything about jewelry in the first place. The initials didn't come up with the exact names of the things that came to mind, and Reurus quickly gave up remembering them.

(I'll polish it before I get back to the abandoned city of Laval... it looks like a souvenir for Corona.)

I really want to give you something better, but with the help of Meer and the others, it could be a pretty good souvenir.

With that in mind, Reurus threw rugged stones into his pocket and headed to the settlement to help the dwarves move.

On the same day, there were two figures in the "Forest of Lost" - "Former" and "Forest of Lost" as the sunset approached.

When the two figures moved into the woods early enough, they found the "castle collapse" that had stopped breathing and stopped.

"I finally found it... that? Is he dead?"

"What are you... stupid? You don't have any dead wounds?... it's true, you're dead."

The two figures were a pair of men and women.

In front of the "castle collapse", both of which were silent, he leaked a voice that looked like he had been taken by nervousness.

"Er... you're kidding me... I thought I was getting lucky with this superior monster that was so easy to defeat..."

"I don't think we'll be lucky when we get rid of that" easy to defeat "monster."

The man dropped his shoulders watching the "castle collapse". The woman who spoke to such a man - the girl's voice was somewhere cold.

"What can I do? If I could just dive into the ground and escape, I wouldn't be able to follow him. Ah, I wish I was aiming for the" as planned ”dwarf."

"I can only say that you weren't lucky either. There's no point in spreading rumors like" Castle Collapse "... oh?

Then, as the girl noticed something, she walked towards the remains of the "Castle Collapse".

"Hmm? What's wrong?

"No, this scratch...."

What the girl looked at was the cross section of the torso of the "castle collapse". I stared straight at the cut section.

"Wind magic? No, even so, it's too beautiful... if you slay it with the magic of the wind, it's too skillful, but I don't know if anyone with that much power is around here."

"Were you also a passing wind wizard?

A user who wouldn't get caught in our network just happened to come to the scene and take down "Castle Collapse"?

"Ah... I don't think so. What do you mean? The Rabies are further east, aren't they?

The man twists his neck while scratching his head.

"The technique will be different in the first place. It's hard to imagine that the dwarf who was nearby defeated..."

"It doesn't matter to me... I thought it would be easy to pass. This" castle collapse "means I took it down... can't I?

The man asks the girl with a half-laugh, but the girl looks back cold.

"Of course not, right? The minimum requirement to become a Bishop is to crush an advanced monster. I don't think it's a real problem, but other bishops aren't convinced."

"Isn't that right... I'm sorry."

A man says in a tone that he is not so sorry about. The girl who heard the words looked east with the cold seeping.

"Do you want to go to the Veos volcano now and aim for a firedragon?

"Oh, come on. You're about to die."

A man who waves his hand and refuses the girl's offer. The little girl sighed at the man's appearance and turned her gaze back to the carcass of "Castle Collapse".

"But...."

"But?"

"No, I'd be interested if it was humans who did this. Did you use wind magic or... I don't think so, but did you slash it? If it's the latter... fufu"

That's where the girl laughs for the first time. It was a poor smile, but the man trembled small.

"That smile is scary, so can you please stop? I feel like I'm in a dream."

"Excuse me. If you had properly put an end to the" Castle Collapse "in the first place, there would have been no problem... well, no need to stay long. Are you going home?"

That's how the girl turns her heel back. When the man shrugged his shoulders, he lowered his head and followed the girl's back.

"I'm so sorry, Bishop."
