A Chronicle of Life in a Different World
Episode 354: Differences in Position
The other day, Louis, who succeeded the governor of the Viscount of Werg and raised his throne to Count, spoke calmly with the Marquises of Grimer on the surface, but with his head in his heart.
(Ruvilia is Ruvilia too, but I can't believe you're showing such a reaction....)
I've been thinking about my sister Ruvillia and her lover, Reurus, by dividing my thoughts by a few.
He sent Ruvillia back about two months ago on a long journey that was in danger of losing his life. It's been a long time since I've seen him face to face, and Louis, as his brother, clearly felt the change in Ruvillia.
Sometimes my body became healthier than before, but I felt a change on the inside.
After hearing Anemone's report that he had travelled with him, Louis was convinced of the changes that had taken place in Ruville.
After that, I tried to observe Ruvillia every once in a while, but sometimes he sighed with a sad expression. When he noticed him, he shook his head in a panic, and Louis was worried about what to do.
Raised as a heir to the Viscount of Velg, I want Ruvillia to be married to another family after her body has healed. I had some eye contact with the other person, and depending on how I talked, I could have sent him out as my wife right away.
So I thought it should be a legacy to connect Ruvillia with other houses and to prosper the Värg family and territory.
But as Ruvillia's brother, I feel hesitant to make that decision. My youngest sister, who was born from the same mother, is considered a cute brother, and I wonder what that decision is.
Of course, personal affection does not take precedence over nobility.
He was working to get “no matter how he fell," sending Ruvillia on a healing journey, and even if he had lost his life, he would have been able to stand on various fronts.
As a result, Ruvillia returned safely with Anemone, her body was restored - and she was in love.
The person is trying to conceal it and let the emotions fade over time, but it is obvious from the side that it is not going well.
As for Lewis, I like Lewis “personally.” As an adventurer, I envy myself for walking around Mataroi on my own feet and fighting monsters.
Given the strength of Reus himself, Elizabeth's abilities with him, and his involvement with Spiritualism, connecting is not a bad option. But it's not enough to let Ruvillia marry her.
Even though abilities are attractive, low stature and the position of not knowing when to lose one's life are major drawbacks. I can only imagine that if you let me marry the daughter of my chief minister and draw in to a certain extent.
However, if we imitate it to attract Reurus and the others, we will turn Natalia against us. That was something I wanted to avoid as Lewis.
Then, you can't choose to let Reurus marry you with respect for Ruvillia's feelings and keep it to a "convenience” by being her parents' home.
As Louis also succeeded the governor and became Count from Count to Count, it was Ali who focused on consolidating the scaffolding without seeking any further benefit.
Ruvillia had a lot of trouble, so she could buy the growth of Reurus and invest in her daughter-in-law.
Personal feelings do not take precedence over duties as a nobleman - but Louis worried that he might not be looking for many reasons to make a deal with himself as a nobleman.
But that's how two pieces of information pop into the trouble.
One was that Sarah and Neddy were recognized as spirits, and Reurus was about to be given the status of "Spirit Man". This was not the case, but the name "Spirit Man" was spreading to the extent that it caught on to Lewis's information network.
And the other is that rumors spread that Reurus fought Bernard against each other in a mock fight.
These two pieces of information tilted the balance that was in Lewis.
The “value” of Reurus is going to be higher and higher. At its lowest level, it seemed okay to let Ruvillia marry her.
You'll have the chance to meet me at the Marquis Grimer's mansion.
(This is an opportunity....)
Louis thought it would be an opportunity to whisper like that in his heart. But I can't help but think of Reurus' attitude toward Ruvillia.
I deceived him, but the feeling that Ruvillia was pointing towards Reurus was obvious. No matter how dull a person is, it will be easy to see.
It is a good condition for the second daughter of the Earl's family, even if the family's eyes are cut short. When I checked “beforehand”, there was no reaction from Reurus, but I thought it would make me feel a little more moved if I actually confronted Ruvillia.
- But Lewis's reaction was unexpected.
When I look at his face, I can hear his voice immediately.
(This... looks like I don't have eyes...)
Louis immediately decided so. I didn't even think about the possibility of being rejected on the spot, but it was a “before that” issue.
(I'm not even interested... but this is still...)
Even if I turn my hand and let Ruvillia marry me, I can't live a couple life. Rather, it has been broken from the beginning.
There are so many people who fall in love with each other that they don't think anything about it. Pushing it and getting married will only make Ruvillia unhappy.
(I don't think that “splitting” is a better boy than I am. In the first place, when I checked it out, I lived without any education until I was born a serf... I thought it was unusual from the beginning, but it was just like that...)
It's the worst way to marry someone because they fell in love before their status or position. Louis had no idea what to do to turn to Ruville.
(Regardless of the spirits Sarah and Neddy, Miss Eliza and Miss Meer are both short and young in appearance... half of them were jokes, but I wonder if they really are a hobby of younger women...)
If that's the case, it's trouble. I don't really know any magic or medicine that would allow me to rejuvenate. If there was such a thing in the first place, the world's powerful would gather it all.
No matter how aristocratic, there are things that can and cannot be done.
(I'm in trouble... Reurus, your power and surroundings are fascinating, but the younger sister you can give to your daughter-in-law is "no good”, and Ruvillia can be stopped...)
It would be quickest for Ruvillia to forget about Reurus, but if she could do something about it, she wouldn't have a crush on the world.
Louis interacts with the Marquis of Grimer and Natalia, while gently gazing at Ruvillia.
There was Ruvillia staring at Reurus as she spoke with the crowds around her.
And if that doesn't work, you're going to drop your shoulders.
(After a while... what a sweet idea. But I don't have to marry her tomorrow, and I'll see how it goes for a while.)
Looking at Ruvillia's expression, Louis made an unexpected decision.
And Natalia was staring like she saw through the mood of Louis and Ruville.
(Either you can force me to marry you, or you can choose to wait... if it's Louis, the latter. It will take several years to consolidate the scaffolding of the Earl of Werg, and we will have to separate it or cut it up on the way...)
I don't know how to fall, but Natalia sees Reurus as extremely unlikely to accept Ruville's thoughts.
Not to say zero, but close to zero. The relationship with Reurus was getting longer enough to make that decision.
It would be fascinating in terms of connecting with the Earl of Werg. It can also be a reason to draw on various types of assistance as we become independent.
But Natalia doesn't choose that. Sometimes it's easier to get help, but it's not necessarily necessary.
In Natalia's calculations, there are already good prospects for independence. I have been carefully prepared to return to the abandoned city of Laval so that I can move quickly towards the development of the territory.
It is not preferable to include an element of uncertainty therein. Even if the Counts of Werg had fished up the terms, it would have been so negative.
Reus is a valuable force in the abandoned city of Laval - I do not deny it.
Eliza's presence with Reus is also important - and I will not deny it.
But as for Natalia, it was before that.
It is Reurus that has caused a lot of hardship so far and has achieved more than expected without complaining. Natalia thought that if Reurus didn't want it, no matter what the terms were, she would refuse.
As a baron, you may want to seek as much profit as you can, but I don't want to impose it if the "fellow town” doesn't want it.
Even Leurus ran all over Mataroi, and at the end of his sentence he sent him to his neighbor. Reurus also acted convincingly, but that's why he couldn't stand it.
What matters to Natalia is the friends of the abandoned city of Laval. Wrong or wrong, it's not the Earl of Velg, it's not the feelings that Ruvillia has.
There's nothing else to prioritize, nothing important.
Otherwise, when Reurus was attacked by a Gregorian priest, Villa, he would not have taken the trouble to carry his legs and kill them.
Gilba would have cleared it up, but Natalia's cowardice won't allow her to leave the rest of the town behind.
“External enemies” would have no problem moving as "administrators", and even if there were problems, they would have prevented others from noticing them.
Natalia was angry enough to make such a decision.
As the 'Administrator', I was angry that the monster couldn't do anything with the opponent. But it's all over. From now on, you can do whatever you want on your own responsibility.
(Emotion is important, but it's dangerous to move just by it, young lady....)
Natalia focuses her conversation with the Marquises of Grimer as she smiles deeply at Ruvillia's “youth” while staring at Reurus.
After tonight, all we have to do is go back to the abandoned city of Laval. Including the time to get ready, we'll be leaving in a few days.
Then, back to the abandoned city of Laval, Natalia's “dream” begins.
With that in mind, Natalia smiled thinly.
