A Chronicle of Life in a Different World
Chapter 424: Dialogue Part 2
…………
Reurus inadvertently silenced and looked seriously at Rebecca's face. Though I thought it might be a light word or a joke, Rebecca didn't seem to withdraw her statement.
(Gregorianism... isn't it a religion? What the hell...)
It was a reflex that tried to ask what the name was, but she took it and looked at Chris and Tina. They're both Gregos, but I thought they were more trustworthy than Rebecca at the moment.
Chris and Tina sighed deeply when they noticed the realuse's gaze.
Rebecca, he's confused.
"Rebecca, don't be so personal."
The two of them drew attention with their tired voices, blaming them. But Rebecca leans her neck small with a smile on her face.
"Oh, did I say something wrong? From at least some priests, our bishops and archbishops..."
Unnaturally, Rebecca's words were cut off. Tina moved instantly and pressed her right hand against Rebecca's body.
Rebecca.
Tina quietly calls out Rebecca's name. Rebecca, who understood the intentions contained in the voice tone, raised her shoulders.
"Yes, yes, I understand. Yeah, I see. I won't say anything extra... but I think this one deserves to hear it? Even if you let me out of my sight...."
"... I admit it. But no."
"It's hard... yeah, it's hard"
"You're too slow for that. I'm a righteous man, so I want you to be moderate."
Rebecca and Tina hit each other with a slight breath of sword, although the content was incomprehensible to Reus.
With those two interactions elsewhere, Chris approached Tokotoko and Reurus.
"So I want you to do something you didn't hear."
"... I can't help but wonder if I'm cut off there?
As far as Chris and Tina are concerned, Rebecca seems to have stepped in bigger than planned. As Reurus narrowed his eyes, Chris shook his neck small enough to say that it was difficult not to ask.
"If you want to ask me, I want you to go into Gregorianism. Again, you can be a bishop from the beginning, and I welcome you."
Chris is once again recommending that we join Gregorianism. If Reurus becomes a bishop, is he going to give that information, or is it "possible to teach”?
(Is it a bad story when it spreads outside? Regardless of the bishop and archbishop, I wonder if some of the priests knew him... but Zilba also tried to get a lot from the Gregorians.)
I wonder if there's anything in Gregorianism that Gilba doesn't even know about. And it seems that only a limited number of Gregorians know about it.
(In order to get information, do I have to be a Gregorian on the surface...?
What kind of information is that? I am worried about Reurus, but I would not be trusted to declare myself Gregorian by words alone.
(But I'm sure they won't kill you, but Jilba and the spirits are going to prove bad.)
I think you'll understand if you talk about the situation, but there are times when it happens. Even though there is a name for it to get information about Gregorianism, it is impossible to prove that it is “really” connected.
"After all, I still have a position on this... so who is the righteous?
For that reason, Reurus picks up Tina's remarks and asks questions. I also wonder why the bishop is acting in more than one way, but I have decided that this is the way to find out about Gregorianism.
I'm curious about Rebecca's remarks, but I don't think Chris and Tina would allow it if we just took Rebecca out and listened to her.
Tina, who was arguing with Rebecca, stopped moving in response to Reurus' question. And I thought I saw Chris face to face, and I looked at the realuse as if it were a match.
"A gathering of people who, in accordance with the Gregorian doctrine, believe that advanced monsters should be hunted."
Chris and Tina belong to the righteous.
Apparently there was nothing wrong with talking, and Chris and Tina answered without hiding it.
--More than words I've never heard from Gilba, it's also possible that it's a story that slightly stepped inside Gregorianism.
"Really... what do you mean?
"Meaning as is. Gather information on powerful monsters to be defeated, and actually go there and defeat them."
"I thought I told you what we were going to do about this... Slause wasn't supposed to."
Monsters like Griffon escaped, so I came to investigate. I was listening to such stories, but then I returned to the “first question” as a realuse.
"Hmm... let me get back to that. Isn't it militarily excessive for bishops to act in multiple ways?
Neither Chris nor Tina is lying. Judging that way, Reurus answers the question without hiding it.
"From the information I gathered in advance, I decided that it would be dangerous to choose the bishop alone or to be promoted to a priest."
"And there's something about Rebecca."
Hearing of Rebecca's treatment, Reurus turned his gaze towards Rebecca.
As for Reurus personally, it is Rebecca who is a troublemaker without saying anything about strength among the Gregorians he has encountered before.
In Reurus' intuition, I think that Canna is a few steps higher with simple “strength", but Rebecca's abilities and personality are troublesome. Of course, it also has enough strength to match the bishop's name, which adds to the embarrassment.
"Ah, I was originally an extremist... don't you know where I am?
"I don't know... but I can almost imagine that word alone."
Reurus smiles unexpectedly.
If the Orthodox seek out and hunt “honestly” advanced monsters, then the extremists will resort to “other” means.
And very angrily, Reurus has a family - Eliza has suffered.
Reurus consciously takes a deep breath and exhales the anger that is rising in his chest. As he tried to remain calm, he stared at Rebecca.
"So, how did you become a righteous extremist?
Initially, I didn't feel motivated, but Rebecca was the one who had a brawl at the hands of the Count Werg family. What did the man who was manipulating others think made him turn into a righteous man?
Rebecca somehow swollen her cheeks in response to Reurus, who ran into such doubt.
"Soooo... soooo! Terrible! Yes, terrible, my prince! I thought about you, didn't I?
"... those two, please interpret."
Rebecca shouted at her with her hands tied together in front of her chest, while Reurus waved to Chris and Tina, feeling her restraint shattered.
"... Orthodox people value information more than extremists."
"... it's not uncommon to go there to check the information we've gathered."
Chris and Tina answered with a tired voice without telling him to stop talking to us. Then Rebecca smiled when she heard it.
"I wish I'd stayed extremist if I'd just gone to see you, but sometimes I'd have to do a tough job like the other day.” I thought orthodox people were easier to move than that. "
…………
"I am acting with these two because it has been judged that several bishops are needed for this investigation, but there is also a monitoring aspect. I'm already trying to kill the prince seriously, but... excuse me, yes, excuse me"
After hearing Rebecca's story silently, Reurus saw Chris and Tina again.
"... that's why I'm taking care of Tina..."
"... that's why Chris is taking care of me..."
Chris and Tina push each other to take care of Rebecca. Apparently, we have to monitor Rebecca, who has moved from extremism to righteousness, while doing his job.
Rebecca also showed the appearance of following Chris and Tina, and had shown that she had followed their instructions before, but if Reurus had been in their place, he would have thrown them out a long time ago.
Reurus slipped away gently from Chris and Tina.
(Gregorianism isn't a single rock either... well, there can't be a whole single rock organization...)
After a little sympathy, Rebecca, the troubled child, sharpened her lips in response to Chris and Tina.
"If you're so troubled with me, I wish you'd put it under Canna-chan...."
I know you were originally close to Kanna beyond the boundaries of your faction.
"That's why I can't. Together, we're about to go wild."
Chris and Tina were astonished at Rebecca's words. Apparently, Kanna is also an orthodox Gregorian - but Reurus secretly sweats cold.
(... why don't you step inside Gregorianism? Internal factions, relocations... is Rebecca trying to tell you something worse?
Rebecca said that Gregorianism was not a religion, but somehow the current state of affairs about the inside was also “bad”.
However, Gregorians - and they rarely have the opportunity to speak directly from the bishop's mouth. In addition, it may not be possible in the future to meet a bishop who speaks to Chris and Tina.
(I don't think it's a good idea to step too far...)
I would like to ask you a lot of questions, but as a revulsion, I said something that I had been worried about for a long time.
"Gregorianism... No, why would a Gregorian try to defeat an advanced monster?
