Chapter 587 - 381: Deborah’s Reluctant Welcome, Alberto’s Sister Golden Dragon_4
Golden Dragon Alberto heard these words, and a trace of suspicion flashed in his eyes.
For a moment, he found it difficult to determine whether this Elf Dragon was sincerely praising him or subtly mocking him.
However, Deborah knew very well that Vera was indeed mocking him.
She didn’t point it out but tilted her head slightly with a puzzled expression, and continued to ask, "So you plan to sleep in Dragon Valley, why not consider returning to the Dragon Domain? It’s obviously safer there, and the environment is more comfortable than here."
Alberto shook his head.
"I don’t want to go back to the Dragon Domain."
He explained, "My parents, their desire to control me is too strong. They constantly educate me on how to be a dragon, especially how to be a qualified Golden Dragon. They have a perfect Golden Dragon template in mind."
"But I have my own ideas and path, and I don’t want to blindly follow those outdated teachings."
"Staying by their side feels less free than being here."
He paused, his gaze sweeping over some figures in the valley, and continued, "Indeed, there are mostly Evil Dragons here with Galos, but I have to say, I find them more interesting than some of the Metal Dragons in the Dragon Domain. Each dragon is... well, more lively, with its own characteristics and its own way of being a dragon."
Could it be that finding Evil Dragons more interesting indicates there’s something wrong with you?
Red Silver Dragon Deborah couldn’t help silently criticizing in her heart.
The main reason she liked staying in Dragon Valley was because Galos was here.
As for the other Evil Dragons in the valley, she didn’t really have many feelings about them, nor interacted much with them, mainly playing around with the Elf Dragon.
But it seemed that Alberto genuinely found other Evil Dragons interesting.
Having such a unique thought, it’s no wonder his parents had an overwhelming desire to control, worrying he’d be led astray.
"Oh, by the way, I suddenly remembered something."
Deborah looked at the Golden Dragon and said, "Alberto, didn’t you sneak out before the Dragon Domain officially closed? And now that it’s been unsealed for a while, won’t your parents come to grab you back?"
Crack.
It was as if something shattered in Alberto’s mind.
The expression on the Golden Dragon’s face instantly stiffened.
"I forgot about that."
He said in a heavy tone.
The Elf Dragon Vera still smiled cheerfully and comforted with a relaxed tone, "Oh, don’t be so nervous."
"How could your parents possibly know your exact whereabouts now? Unless—"
She elongated her voice and mischievously continued, "—they’ve already prepared ahead, secretly planting some tracking magic on you? Maybe hidden under a scale, or fused in your blood."
Alberto fell into deeper silence, his face turning somewhat unsightly.
The glance of the Red Silver Dragon towards him couldn’t help but contain a trace of pity.
With the Metal Dragon parents’ excessive protection and emphasis on their offspring, casting some kind of tracking magic on their own child was almost standard operation.
For example, her own father had done similar things.
Surely, Alberto had it too.
Sneaking out of the Dragon Domain before the closure; attempting to participate in the battle for supremacy in the perilous wilderness; mingling with a bunch of Evil Dragons.
If his parents knew all these things, Alberto could foresee that he would inevitably face a relentless mixed double punishment, and the intensity would undoubtedly surpass the past.
"Ha... haha... I, Alberto, am destined to establish an immortal Golden Order!"
The Golden Dragon, forcing calmness, encouraged himself with grand words, "My parents, who cannot understand my magnificent vision and steadfast will, are merely insignificant obstacles on my path to growth!"
"I, Alberto, will never bow to them."
"Unless they kill me on the spot, I will never obediently go back to the Dragon Domain with them."
Just as he finished speaking.
Bang!
The entire ground suddenly experienced a clear tremor.
This unexpected upheaval startled the Golden Dragon, causing him to shiver, his limbs weakening, almost collapsing to the ground.
He turned his head abruptly in horror, looking towards the source of the tremor.
Oh, it was the Red Iron Dragon Galos, who had just landed after finishing a round of exercise, not the parents he had imagined arriving just in time.
Golden Dragon Alberto finally breathed a long sigh of relief, his tensed nerves slightly relaxed.
Galos was surrounded by steaming heat that hadn’t fully dissipated, having just finished high-intensity agility training.
He turned his gaze to the Red Silver Dragon beside him, and with a sharp claw beckoned, "Deborah, come over, it’s time to train together."
The Red Silver Dragon shifted her body, posing as if ready to flee at any moment.
Then, as she expected, the Red Iron Dragon directly approached and, with a strong arm, lifted her, turning and heading towards the training ground.
"You annoying Galos! Let me go!"
The Red Silver Dragon struggled symbolically, protesting in dissatisfaction while sneaking a slight, satisfied smile.
Alberto clicked his tongue, then looked at the Elf Dragon.
He asked, "Do these two dragons usually play like this?"
The Elf Dragon shook her head, then solemnly fabricated, "No, they’re usually even more perverted, I’m too embarrassed to say."
Not long after.
A distant Endless Sea, Fubo Dragon Domain.
"Nasha, take my old set of armor and bring your brother back."
A deep, resonant whisper came from within a gigantic and luxurious Giant Dragon Palace.
"What if he doesn’t want to come back?"
The female adult dragon named Nasha asked softly.
"Then fight, fight until the rebellious son is willing to return."
The deep voice replied.
"Alright! I’ll set off right away!"
With a gloating and eager response, the Golden Dragon flew out of the palace, spiraling into the air, heading straight towards the Border Area.
