A Dragon against the Whole World

Chapter 550 - 370: Heart of Thunder

Dense dark clouds roiled and gathered, countless silver snakes dancing wildly.

Below, around a towering and steep cliff, various Giant Dragons were hovering and soaring.

When a massive dark blue figure, enveloped in blinding lightning, flew out from its nest and finally landed steadily at the highest point of the cliff, all Dragons of youth age and above gradually folded their Dragon Wings and landed on the cliff top platform, circling around that figure.

At a glance, among the Giant Dragons gathered here, those with Scale Armor in varying shades of blue, the Blue Dragons, were the most numerous, their bodies emitting crackling sounds of static electricity.

Additionally, there were a few Red Dragons with crimson scales, relatively slender Green Dragons, and other types of Evil Dragons, collectively forming the Dominican Dragon Group.

"Leader! Congratulations on awakening from your Sleep Stage."

"You will guide us once more! Your thunder and storms will surely sweep across the entire wilderness!"

"Under your leadership, the Dominican Dragon Group will undoubtedly reclaim the lost homeland and revive past glory! Slay those Giants!"

Amidst the noisy and enthusiastic entourage and flattery from the Evil Dragons, the Giant Dragon that became the focal point of all clearly displayed its form before all Dragon eyes.

This was a robust and muscular mature Blue Dragon.

Its size was significantly larger than all the other Evil Dragons around, merely standing quietly, exuding a heavy sense of oppression.

It had deep blue scales, with a smooth surface reflecting flickering electric light, layer after layer of tightly interlocked scales, with many clear, crisscrossing Battle Scar Patterns across them, telling of countless battles it had endured over the years, so heavy and durable.

Its Dragon horns did not grow on its head but were located at the tip of its snout, like a thick and sharp spiral lance, constantly sparking tiny but dangerous electric sparks, emitting a faint sizzle.

Most striking of all were its Dragon Wings.

When it stretched its body, the wing membranes unfurled like two enormous deep blue flags, where one could clearly see that they were densely covered with patterns similar to natural lightning trails or branching trees.

At this moment, countless minute currents flowed rapidly along these patterns, as if imprinting a thunderstorm-filled sky onto them.

It was the leader of the Dominican Dragon Group, a powerful Giant Dragon revered by all members as Heart of Thunder.

—Prest Dominic.

Life Level: 20.

Prest had now entered the final stages of maturity, with the fire of life burning fiercely, and in a few decades, it would cross the threshold of four hundred years, becoming an elder Dragon.

For Blue Dragons of the same age group, the average Life Level is around 18.

Prest not only reached level 20 but also had a relatively high professional level.

Undoubtedly, it was an outstanding Dragon among Blue Dragons, an exceptional powerhouse; otherwise, it could not have commanded the Dragon Group as its leader.

The Blue Dragon Leader slightly moved its somewhat stiff neck, allowing the rain pouring from the sky to wash over its heavy Scale Armor, feeling the long-lost outer world’s breath.

Meanwhile, its gaze slowly swept across the face of each Giant Dragon around.

"During my sleep, what noteworthy changes occurred in the situation of the Sel Wilderness?"

It spoke.

From the Dragon Group, another Blue Dragon, second only to Prest in size, stepped forward.

Zoraya, mature female Blue Dragon, Life Level 17.

She bore beautiful sky-blue scales, with energy fluctuations and bloodline presence similar to Prest.

She was Prest’s direct descendant and most capable subordinate, and during Prest’s slumber, major management of the Dominican Dragon Group was handled by Zoraya.

Unlike other standard Blue Dragons:

Her Dragon horns did not grow at the tip of her snout; their thick roots were located on either side of her skull, near the back of her ears, then winding upward and back, forming numerous complex and elegant forks, somewhat resembling stag antlers at first glance, but thicker, harder, and with a more majestic sense.

It was evident she had some special mutations.

"Father, the situation’s development largely aligns with our predictions before we slept."

"Initially, with the collapse of the old order, the Sel Wilderness was filled with smoke and war, and as time passed, powerful beings known as ’Regional Kings’ emerged in various regions."

She paused slightly, then continued to report.

"In the Central Region where our Dominican Dragon Group is located, the one most likely able to claim the title of Regional King was the Red Dragon called Gor, known to many intelligent creatures as the Mad King."

Previously, Iron Dragon Letitia hoped to form an alliance with the Dragon Group to jointly deal with the significant threat of Gorsas.

The Dragon Group ultimately chose to refuse.

The reason was simple.

Their leader was in an important slumber of maturity, and engaging a crazy and powerful adversary like Gorsas at such a critical moment was unwise.

During the leader’s sleep, the Dominican Dragon Group maintained high restraint, strictly controlling its minions and Followers, quietly managing its established territory in the Central Region without significant expansion beyond or deliberately showing its sharp edges, thus not leaving a significant mark in the wilderness.
