A Mid-level (Middle-aged) Office Worker’s Laid-Back Industrial Revolution in Another World
Episode 419: Thoughts of Takeo. (about pocket watches, small guns and ringtones)
Takeo was troubled as he walked until he returned to everyone.
A little behind me is a girl who used to talk so hard about herself in tears earlier.
This girl says it's a bell sound, but...
"I told her," she said when she first asked who had devised the small gun or pocket watch.
Reflect that I first overlooked the place where I "told" rather than "devised".
In the first place, it was only surprising that the average person understood a structure they normally did not know about small arms and pocket watches.
There were a few things I found out when I heard the bell sounds, but the biggest shock was the fact that both the small gun and the pocket watch were actually asleep in the steno workshop storeroom.
And the artisans at Steno Workshop didn't seem to understand what a small gun or pocket watch was.
I heard someone named Steno, who started the Steno Workshop, got it from somewhere, but I don't know how.
All we know is that it was given way by the founders of the Adventurers' Union.
And here again, the founder of the Adventurers' Union... wonders what the hell he was like.
I'm going to wrap up about pocket watches first.
The steno workshop craftsman said he had tidied up and cleaned the storage a few times a year, but the bell tone was picked up and worked out at the steno workshop. He was surprised when his pocket watch came out when he cleaned after a few months.
And without hesitation, the two veterans did the disassembly and assembly, and they were even more surprised.
There was a ringtone on the flip saying, "What is this? I heard."
"I open it three times a year with my first artifact and clean it," he said. "What machine is it for? How it works... is open during cleaning because I have no idea but there are many elaborate gears and by disassembling and assembling I can see the awesomeness of this machine and as an artisan I can go home to my first mind without being chronic".
And the ringtone said, "This is a clock. And when I tried so hard to explain the concept of the clock, everyone said," How many soles? Sounds interesting, "he said the development had begun.
The conclusion reached by Steno Workshop was to make a clock with only clockwise and minute hands.
He concluded that after making a gear that rotates once a second, it is a combination of gear for a 6-degree moving minute needle when turned 60 times and gear for a 30-degree moving clockwise when turned 360 times.
So the question arose as to how to make a three-spin mechanism per second, and it was said that Flip spoke to Vicente, the ringmaker, and Cintron, the designer.
And three and a half years after development, he said he managed to make this pocket watch.
Apparently, small arms were also brought in by the founders of the Adventurers' Union, but...
The part of the gun bed was rotten while it was in storage.
Before coming to this world, Bell Tone, who was studying a general overview of guns, told everyone about bullets, medicine pods, and their own history as Takeo told Grandpa Elvis.
And Steno Workshop decided to develop a small gun, a "flying tool for those who are not magicians."
So, actually, it didn't take as long to develop the small gun body.
He said the biggest problem was bullets.
The bullet seems to have a metal cover attached to either normal lead or lead... but once it was frustrated by the fact that there was no lead distribution under the guidelines of the Katlanda Empire, I let the bullet part be solved by casting iron with a lower distribution price.
Also, the production of drugpods is frustrating. I really couldn't make it in the current manufacturing of tapping or piercing metal.
So when we were all discussing it, the ringtone said, "Speaking of which, you were deforming heavy objects from the top where I was.," he said, conveying the technology of press processing to everyone.
To be precise, it's a technique called squeezing with press machining... but everyone was surprised by the word and just started prototyping.
And the iron pods are ready.
The biggest difficulty with small arms development was the manufacture of "gunpowder".
Because there is a convenient object called magic in this world, the medicine is not well developed at all.
It seems to be about a recovery potion system even if it does.
In it, he asked Vicente to help him start formulating the three kinds of gunpowder needed for gunpowder: nitrous stone, sulphur, and charcoal.
And we brought it from development to the stage where we could produce it in three years.
Kotai, by the way, told me that Bell Tone was the first product I had ever made as a blacksmith.
And I added three types to the Steno Workshop lineup: a smallpocket knife, a pocket watch, and a small gun... but the results were not expected.
... Could this 3 workshop be a bunch of genius craftsmen? And Takeo thinks.
Flexible ideas and the lightness to try to make them for now, as well as the room and definite arms of the mind that can simultaneously develop a pocket watch and a small gun.
The desire to try new things and make better things is right.
A craftsman is a good word for the amount of expertise and a definite owner of arms, but to put it badly, I don't know anything but expertise and I don't know the world.
They're just people who want to wave their arms and make good things.
Takeo normally worked for the company before he came here.
He has joined the company as a technical profession and has also experienced a sales position.
So I somehow know what it's like to be an artisan... but Takeo makes me want to sigh at the way Steno Workshop sold it.
If you make good things, you don't just make them and sell them.
If you want to sell things, you have to sell them before you can sell them.
Workshops and shops in this world basically "wait".
Takeo believes that most people listen to and make customer orders rather than create and sell something themselves.
In it, Ralph's tailor, Walt's brewery in Low's liquor store.
Takeo is holding them back as they try to change their "wait" attitude.
Whether they met Takeo when they thought, or because Takeo came, it's not a big deal.
It's obvious from Takeo, but from the inhabitants of this world, I guess it's a heterogeneous idea.
"Heterogeneous thoughts are driven away" in any age. However, some matters are inherited without being expelled.
There is a reason not to be expelled. Takeo believes that the technology, the financial power, the way of selling, the geographically advantageous places, the connections with the governors that do not allow follow-ups... will be expelled if at least this condition has not been fulfilled.
The first three shopkeepers had this.
But these three workshops were missing something.
"I wonder why you sold it into the magicians union institute in the first place.
Takeo thinks selling is the biggest problem of all the reasons why he can't sell it.
I chose to be the seller of small arms to a magician union that is likely to be a commercial enemy. The institute that would also be inclined to the magic of bees... there is no way to sell them.
Takeo thinks that if you want to spread small arms, it will be easy to sell them into border gates or large troop commanders or heavy towns of state politics.
If you want to sell your pocket watch again, the cook will be good at first.
In that regard, the Steno Workshop is a group of craftsmen, although not in a good way.
Steno Workshop probably chose the shortest path to sell... but that path was probably a cliff.
I don't think Takeo is "invincible," but I'm going to try not to think much about the area because Elvis Mansion is supposed to come to the city where it is.
"This came with good people, and can it be interesting?" and expect.
Takeo's biggest concern is the bell tone.
The ringtones show off their knowledge easily.
Takeo is also showing his knowledge, but he intends to take a method that is less likely to affect the national system around the revitalization of the region in anticipation of some subsequent changes.
However, Ringtone devised and revived a small gun that is likely to change national systems and forms of war.
This could change the way this world works, not the transformation of a region or a nation.
But I didn't want to blame you for what the bell sounded like.
Takeo has an aspect that was conceived about the country and this world because the first place he got picked up happened to be on the ruler's side.
In contrast, the ringtone was picked up by the weapons producer.
I had no choice but to think about the implications for the country and the world.
For once, the ringtone will also come to the city where the Elvis mansion is located, so you will be able to monitor it to the worst of all... if you can, you will become a researcher at the institute, and you want to enrich your taste for the development of the city and your own.
Because now I guess I can still develop with the sword and the magical worldview left behind.
"Heh heh, I'm selfish to make.
Takeo mocked himself.
