A Mid-level (Middle-aged) Office Worker’s Laid-Back Industrial Revolution in Another World
Episode 430: The Magicians College Students' Pathway Decision and Letter from Grandpa Elvis to Alice and the others.
"Ah... everyone... tired."
Whimpering as Tracy rams into the Dean's office's own desk.
"Good day, Dean of the College.
Several of the teachers who came into the Dean's Office with me speak to each of them about their work.
The College of Magicians has been posting jobs since yesterday, calling students in order of grades as of the end of October until the end of yesterday afternoon and the end of this afternoon to hear where they want to go and work on filling job applications.
And Tracy and the others finished interviewing all the students and moved to the Dean's Office for the upcoming meeting.
"Ha, let's talk while we have tea.
Teachers begin to prepare tea for Tracy's words.
Tracy also takes the secret treats out of her own desk drawer and distributes them to everyone.
"Well... you didn't have much turmoil this year.
Tracy tells you what she thinks.
"Well... I thought last year was just tough.
Nevertheless, I did not expect to receive significant additional jobs from the 1st and 2nd Knights of the King's Capital.
Thanks to this year there are four local nobles with a split capacity...
Looks like the students were surprised the moment they were stuck out.
The teacher sighs.
"Ah... right.
It seems that the King's capital's personnel will move considerably with regard to His Highness's transfer to the Crown Principality.
"And it's not public, but the Dean of the Academy has recruited Sir Kitamizato's lab director, Kay Cade and Pamela Cohen into Sir Kitamizato's test platoon.
That Pamela... her lively face from the interview... "
and teachers cry.
"I know how you feel.
Because she's the most stretched kid.
Tracy and other teachers snort too.
"Excuse me... these are my first students, so...
Cohen had been depressed for the past year... because he cared.
"Unh-unh, that's important.
I'll have to take care of that feeling in the future.
"Yes, Dean of the College.
Tearful teachers snort loudly.
"Well... I had a quorum crack because...
Oh... the clerical way. 0 (zero) to the Elvis family... "
Tracy gets discouraged as she looks at the job offer.
"Yeah, because the Knights of the King's Capital have leaned toward an increase this time.
You've been dropped off the hiring of aristocrats to the clerical style that we entreat as student receptacles every year.
"Um... I wonder if I can get a job next year.
Graduates have also reported that this aristocrat cares for the students recruited by the clerical...
Do you want to write a brush when communicating job results?
"Right.
The other teachers snorted.
------------------------
"You've made up your mind.
Genie whines as she dines with a few people in the dining room.
It seemed like the other students were eating together for each place they hired.
Two men and Kay and Pamela join the magician platoon to the Elvis family to dine together.
"Oh! But I can't believe Pamela's with the test platoon!
Boys students look up and watch Pamela in amazement.
"Shh!
The test platoon hasn't been officially launched yet!
You can't say that out loud!
Genie panics.
"Oh... oh... I'm sorry about that...
Good for you, Pamela.
A boy student dives into his voice and says:
"Yeah! Master Kitamizato can't thank you enough for picking it up.
"I did it. Pamela was upstairs when she started school, but she kept failing these days.
Another boy student says happily.
"Well, that was really good.
Genie says happily, too.
"So, it's a good decision, but what are we going to do?
"Well... after that, each should be self-taught until graduation...
What do Kay and Pamela do?
"We're going to look at the literature in the library.
I did write a copy of my past combat report because Sir Kitamizato said he would also discuss tactics.
Thought you might need it.
And then I guess I'll improve my basic health?
Kay answers.
"I see. What do we do?
Genie asks the other two.
"We'll only have to improve our basic health, too.
We need to build strength to withstand the sigoki over there.
Boy students nod at other faces for answers.
"Doesn't that make any difference?"
That's what Pamela whined about.
------------------------
"Should I keep this paperwork together?
"That's right. Please, Alice.
Alice was helping Leila and the others with paperwork today in their office.
"I'm sorry I let you help me, Alice.
Alma will thank you.
"No, I'll do this because I'm here.
Alice pulls the paperwork together and closes.
Ku is in the middle of a nap next to Alice.
and the office door is knocked.
"Go ahead."
When William answered, the butler came in and said, "I have a letter from the Elvis family.," he left a letter to Leila and left.
"It's addressed to Leila.
"Yes, thank you.
And, a letter passes from William to Leila and Leila checks inside.
"Hmm?? Isn't this addressed to Alice?
And, Leila turns a letter to Alice.
"What is it?
and confirm that Alice is receiving it.
"To Master Takeo, right?
That's a message because I'm taking the liberty of making a presentation on securing land for a tailor union factory.
"The trench coat factory I was telling you about.
The tailor's manager is motivated.
Leila nods.
"You asked for it for our soldiers, too.
I guess I'll have to move faster to deliver more than I expected.
William comes up from the paperwork and says:
"Oh? Really?
Alma asks.
"That's right.
And didn't I tell you two?
It's up to us to deliver next to the Elvis family.
"Erm... our appointment was 900 clothes for soldiers, but how many did His Highness William ask for?
"We're wearing 850.
Because the Knights won't wear full plates every day anyway.
Then I asked for everyone's share.
"I see."
"Well, actually, I haven't had an exchange on the contract yet.
In the meantime, we're checking to see when we can deliver it in the shortest possible time, right?
"Oh, that's why your presentation came forward.
Because if you wait for Master Takeo, the time will slip by.
"Right.
I wonder when... will it be delivered before the move?
"Right.
I will also contact Grandpa about the area.
"Yeah, Alice, please.
Leila says frankly.
"Yes."
And Alice started writing back to Grandpa Elvis.
