Laboratory 2nd Floor Laboratory

Across the brand new conference desk, Takeo was explaining to Tracy and Bell Tone and Pana about Dan and Cloy earlier.

Incidentally, on the desk there is a plate of slime black fluid stranded on the top surface for use as a knockout shield on the side in case it should be stopped by a screw, but the screw head is invisible.

Of course, it was Takeo who did a little deeper zagling and installed it, then poured slime black fluid from the top as if nothing had happened and finished it nicely.

"Okay, I'll have the materials ready.

The ringtone nods.

"Still... are you thinking that far?

Says Tracy with a grudge.

"I was begged to come to the land and make something new, and I thought I had to get results, so I thought about it myself, but is it faster than I think?

It's the first one, so I was expecting to do a hell of a design, and I was hoping that I could teach you formulas and stuff a little bit from there.

Ha... I guess this means you've got better people than I imagined.

And it would be harder to start a prototype if this were the case at this stage.

I wonder if I should strike something out of it.

Takeo says with a sigh.

"That's right.

The first time you draw a drawing and make a physical object, you get a lot of problems, don't you?

The ringtone tells me as I recall.

"Has Mr. Tracey had any of those experiences?

"You don't feel like a drawing.

Because basic theory and magic systems are the main studies of the Royal Enchantress Corps.

It confirms old literature and theorizes and streamlines existing magic.

Oh, the magic engraving Taylor is doing is originally Taylor's research assignment, but it's almost lost, and it's only supposed to be taught in a specific workshop, and the research wasn't progressing.

So while I was in the royal treasure trove, I became a spiritual magician.

In a way, Taylor is lucky, but it's amazing in this country that Steno Technologies can teach him magic engraving.

says Tracy.

"That means Mr. Tracy never pulled a drawing, right?

Takeo asks Tracy.

"Pull?... Yeah, you've never drawn it.

Even so, is it the shape of a ring or magic fixture?

You don't have any details.

"Hmm... well, I'm not telling Mr. Tracey to draw up to the details, but do I need to go to Steno Technologies for that matter and explain?

If you can't paint, explain it so that the craftsman can see it.

"Yes, I understand.

Tracy nods.

"Pana, how about an alcohol lamp?

"For once, I checked to see how long you would keep it from being full, but it's about 4 hours.

You could go more if you increase your capacity, but it doesn't seem necessary because the container feels like it has heat.

It would probably be better to replace it regularly with more pieces than that.

"I'll leave the way to it.

Can you manage to light a fire?

Make the thumb go back and forth a few times to the side like when Takeo fires out with a lighter.

"It's okay.

To be honest, I have habits when I can dot them, so there are still going to be challenges in commercializing them.

Pana will report it.

"Right.

Keep it made. What is it, but I had a hard time lighting the fire first, too.

I thought it would be easier because the lighter was cheap, but you found out from the production that it was quite thought out and made.

The ringtone makes me look tired and say.

"Hmm... and I'm worried about the fire. Is it looking good for the time being?

If you're thinking about applying it, I'd like to make a lantern if I can... "

"Is it a lantern?

"Yeah, I think the first of the means of communication in the event of some distance is Morse using lanterns and other light.

There's lux magic over here, but you don't use it as a means of communication.

And the lights in the room... well, here's the thing.

Takeo says as he looks at the ceiling.

"Takeo, I was also at first wondering if there was a light even though there was no electricity.

Did you learn how to work?

"No, it bothers me, but I decided not to care 'I guess that's what it is' because it seems to fit deep.

"Oh, I see.

But maybe that's a good idea.

I'll let you know when I get the chance.

"Ahhh... bell tone, keep it as a booklet when you have time.

I'll read it if I feel like it.

"Yes."

We talk about what Bell Tone and Takeo can only understand and conclude.

"So, Director, what's a lantern?

"Mm-hmm... briefly, I covered the area around the alcohol lamp with a glass box to keep it out of the wind.

At first it's street tree lights and front door lights... bell tones, is there any other way to put it?

"Simple outdoor lighting.

If you attach it to the carriage, you can also read the book indoors while illuminating the lights... the taller carriage may incorporate this lighting into the carriage, but it brings it to bear with the fluid of the slime.

Sounds like lighting for carriages at a lower price range, so to speak.

"Oh, I see.

Tracy is convinced.

"So you're convinced...

By the way, I want to be able to turn on the lights even without magic, so if you're not magically fit, I'll treasure you for a little night walk.

"... you're going to be popular with drunks.

"It's going to be a fire if you let a drunk hold fire, so you dismiss it.

"So is that.

Tracy laughed bitterly at Takeo's allegations.
