A Misunderstood Mentor
Hundred and Seven Stories Midsummer Night's Dream
"Well, Takumi, today's soup tastes a little intense."
"Oh, oh, hey, wrong salt addition. Was that a bad idea?
"Yes, no, not always, I just thought it was delicious."
The first thing I noticed was still Leia, who lived with me the longest.
No, maybe everyone else has noticed.
At noon, the feeling of cooking has been dull since I made the sweets.
"Well, there's also the word Hiroshi and Brush Error. Even Takumi will make mistakes."
I don't know those words, but Nagisa is following me.
"Ugh, nothing about us, don't give it a dark flavor. It's delicious, Coo."
"Oh, yes, Lord Takumi. I prefer it to be this thick, and I don't care..."
Everyone was so careful.
But I'm the best, I know it well.
That even the dishes I've been able to make so easily as to breathe have been in the wrong portions.
"Looks a little out of shape. I'm going to bed early today because I might have a summer cold."
"That's tough. I'll take care of the cleanup, so get some rest."
"Thank you, Nagisa"
I want to believe I was just hit by the heat.
If I can't even cook the only dish I'm good at, there's nothing left for me.
With flirting and a thousand feet (Chidori), I try to make my way to the bedroom.
"Takumi"
It was Alice who stopped it.
She's the only one who doesn't say anything and completes my cooking.
"Shall we sleep together?
Pisces, and everyone at the table solidified.
Alice's remarks have no profound meaning.
He's usually staring at me with the same look on his face.
You just thought you'd console me to be depressed.
But the others didn't seem to think so.
Bachkin, and I hear a spoon break, and Leia gets up.
"A, Dear Alice. You can't let a man and a woman sleep together before marriage."
"Why? Leia would have slept with Takumi the whole time. Plus we used to sleep together all the time."
"Ngu."
Lightly cut back and Leia shuts up.
Instead, it was Karna who interrupted.
"That's what I'd have to do if I only had one room. Besides, it's not like when I was a kid. There's a lot going on when I grow up."
"... Various. What are all those things?
"Eh, no, no, no, all sorts of things. Ugh, we're not familiar with it either, Coo, please."
Pass to your sister as Karna turns bright red.
"Eh! Why are you swinging at us?!?
After Chloe sees me chillier, she snubs with a bright red face and snaps with a small voice.
"... here's what they say"
"Huh? Did you think about what they said? Hey, just tell your sister."
"Sister Cal!!
"Yes, yes, everyone, calm down"
compartmentalize the spot while Nagisa cleans up her tequila.
"Master Takumi doesn't seem to be feeling well really, so please leave him alone"
That was a strange sight.
Until now, when everyone made a scene like this, I should have always managed to fit it in.
That's Nagisa's word now, and everyone agrees, though, that we're cleaning up the dishes together.
Even though it's very helpful, I'm kind of uncomfortable with the unobtrusive discomfort.
"Nagisa, are you..."
"Yes, what is it"
I talk to Nagisa, who answers well, and then I realize I don't know what to ask.
"No, it's nothing. See you tomorrow."
I'm sure you think too much.
I guess the heat makes me sick and think about weird things.
Sleep slowly, and by tomorrow, you should be back to your usual routine.
Open the door of the room and look back on the verge of entering.
Good night, Takumi.
I don't see Nagisa's face to thank for saying that.
Yet I never felt that way, like she was laughing.
There is a view that I have never seen.
Many huge chunks of iron that were about to reach heaven were soaring, filling the earth.
A lot of people come and go from there in brightly colored clothes.
And in his hands, everyone had something with a button with numbers on it.
Everything should be different from the world you know.
And yet, why not?
I remember some nostalgia in this sight.
Dream, is it?
Must be.
Everything is the world of dreams created by my delusions.
So convinced, I try to close my eyes.
Someone's face approached me like that peeking into me.
"Hey, you, Takumi's got eyes open."
That was the face of the first woman I saw.
It's blurry, I don't know for sure.
Still, when I look at that face, for some reason, I get wrapped up in a tremendous sense of security.
"Even with my eyes open, I still haven't seen them. That's what babies are for."
I hear voices from across the woman's face.
Not my father's voice.
My father is supposed to sound like a wilder, wilder bore.
Besides, I've heard this man's voice somewhere.
"Fugu."
I know it's a dream.
Yet something unobtrusive and hot creeps up from the back of my chest.
"Whoa, whoa, whoa!
I can't stand it, I cry out loud.
"Oh, my God, what's wrong? Are you okay?"
Unlike a panicking woman, a man holds me up calmly.
"Ta-ta ♪ Ta-ta ♪ Ta-ta ♫"
And sing out a light-hearted rhythm song you've never heard of.
"Canon of Pahelbel. I think I've been telling you since I was in my tummy. When I hear this, Masayaki always pees."
"Oh, yeah"
That song, which is supposed to be heard for the first time, is nostalgic as if it had been heard many times, and all the anxiety is removed.
And eventually everything was covered in darkness.
