A Sorcerer’s Journey

Chapter 1 Wizarding World

Boom, boom, boom, boom, heavy door panels are pounding heavily.

In the hut, hiding in the broken cotton sleeping Green was instantly awakened, cold numbness under his feet made him suck in a cold breath of air, but Green did not dare to delay, shouting: “Here he comes. ”

Without worrying about his unconscious feet, Green Marley opened the wooden door by putting on his worn clothes and picking up the leather coat that was covered in the worn cotton quilt as the second quilt.

Rin Winter's cold wind blew, and the ice slag filled, and Green was thrilled by the irritated body.

Outside the door, the old ham curled on a wrecked wooden carriage with whips in one hand and a cigarette bag in the other, leaving two traces of the carriage in the pit slump snow.

“Hurry up, the road is hard to go today, late for training. ”

Old Ham smashed a cigarette bag and said to Green.

“Oh, I see. ”

Green covered the wooden door and got into the carriage with his hands and feet. Everything was customary. Green would hear him nagging every day since he followed Uncle Ham on this stabilization errand.

If Ham didn't have much to say, he finally smashed a cigarette bag and wielded his whip. The old horse groaned and dragged the carriage forward in the pit slump snow.

Green leaned against a broken carriage guardrailing, looked at the dark sky, and continued to close his eyes to take a nap. According to past experience, the old carriage would take at least half an hour to reach the Viscount House in the city, when the day was almost bright.

Leaning on the carriage, Green smelled a familiar smell of dry smoke and was deeply grateful to Old Ham.

Green's original memory was a snowy winter with goose fur, and it was dark, and no one had ever seen Green, as if it had popped out of the world.

Since then, Green has often followed a group of orphans in the city of Bissell to live a life of begging without fruit, until one day Ham, an elderly son, sees Green quite excited, and when he thinks of having no children under his knees, brings Green back.

"I'm dead, and these two huts and old horses are yours," said Old Ham. ”

To be honest, the two cottage huts and the old carriage were not worth much money, but made Green appreciate the old ham as a regenerating parent.

As for the livelihood of Old Ham and Green, every morning before dawn, they arrive at the Viscount's Palace in Bissell City to clean up the large pieces of garbage left over from the dispersal of the noble lords' carnival overnight, send them outside the city and then go to the Viscount's territory to purchase all the carnival supplies for the next night.

This time around, it's almost half the day.

Halfway through the hourglass time, the pavement began to smooth and the ground was covered with stone roads.

Green, who took a nap in the carriage, did not need an old Ham order, naturally woke up, knowing that he had arrived in Bissell City, was about to arrive at the Viscount House, quickly swept a handful of snow on his body, sort of tidied up the meter.

Though most of the aristocrats in the city who had a night of carnival in the Village were long gone when Green and Old Ham often arrived at the Village every day, even if they did not leave occasionally, the noble lord at the top would not look at these two lowly servants more often, and the meter had no use whatsoever.

But the Viscount's old butler was a difficult character, always waiting for the benefit of the troubled Green servants, who had used the lame pretext of misbehaving more than once to extort Old Ham's silver coins.

The guards of the two hippocampus knights at the Viscount's entrance were guarded overnight and had long been exhausted, sweeping old Ham and Green's eyes, and had become unfamiliar for several years, ignoring them.

Old Hamm laughed for a moment, and Green jumped off the carriage and lowered his head into the Viscount's Palace, daring not to look more, heading straight to the luxury hall, which must be carefully cleaned every day.

Green and Old Ham, who were otherwise unscrupulous, suddenly felt that the atmosphere today seemed different, only to see the old butler's shady face at the entrance of the hall, a pair of fierce triangular eyes staring at Green and Old Ham, a short run to the two.

The old butler whispered, “Wait here, block your ears, close your eyes. ”

“Yes, yes. ”

Green and Old Ham hastily responded.

The hidden noise in the hall, though not very clearly heard, can rarely tell that it was a girl making a scene.

Instinct, Green and Old Ham knew that this was supposed to be a big shot.

Approximately a hourglass time has been waited, the sky is fully lit, Snowy Green and Old Ham are stuck in cold feet and Cesar is shaking.

The old butler, who was waiting in front of the lobby, walked over with a gloomy face and lowered his voice: “If you can't stand the freeze, it won't be used tomorrow. ”

Green and Old Ham changed their faces. After struggling several times, Old Ham took out a silver coin from his ragged linen shirt and stuffed it in the hands of the old housekeeper. “Bear it, bear it. ”

“Humph.”

The old butler skilfully stuffed the silver coin in his pocket, ignoring the two of them, waiting anxiously at the entrance of the hall, visiting from time to time.

Green couldn't help but whisper: "Damn, I got the benefit from us a few days ago, and now I want it! ”

“Hey, forget it, put up with it, there are a lot of people who want to do our job, the old butler can't help it. ”

Old Ham sighed.

People are old, they are about to go into the dirt, so they look away, and they are no longer as hot as young people.

At this point, a girl flew out of the lobby, dressed in a noble dress, with a fine face covered in tears, stopped behind Green and Old Ham and shouted in the lobby.

“I'm not going to Lilith House Wizards College, not to mention being a wizard! ”

After that, the girl seemed to be still angry. She pulled out a book and threw it out, running out of the Viscount.

“Rebellion! Why are you two still standing there? Why don't you go after him? ”

An aristocratic lord with a big belly blushed and growled at two armored knights around him.

However, Green dared not believe that the Viscount, who was high on weekdays, was helpless at this time, and stood beside this big belly nobleman with a laugh, whispering what he was persuaded to do.

“Huh, what does she know? The great wizard is the master of the world. You know what I paid for the test in six months? ”

In a hurry, Lord Viscount left Viscount House with this big belly nobleman without looking at Green and Old Ham.

As for the old housekeeper, he also followed him out in a hurry and took both the guards away before leaving, disappearing into the snow.

In the blink of an eye, the yard became empty and voiceless.

Look around, Green instinct is to pick up the book on the ground in front, but old Ham walks up one step, the cigarette bag knocks Green's hand, and he drinks low: “Are you dead? ”

Green grinned painfully and whispered, “Should we be okay? If anyone asks, we'll say clean up the garbage and throw it away. Anyway, the noble lady just threw it on the floor. ”

Old Ham thought about it, looked up again, nodded after there was really no one around, sort of acquiesced to Green.

Green put the book in his clothes, and if nothing happened, he cleaned up the lobby with Old Ham. The lobby was swept into the carriage after the nobleman's party overnight, leaving a huge amount of trash behind.

Even before leaving, no one questioned the book's whereabouts, and Green didn't care.

After all, in the past, some noble lords often mixed up in garbage, though invisible, but the servants rejoiced.

Squeak, squeak...

A carriage filled with garbage slowly left Bissell City.

Sitting in a wagon loaded with garbage, Green was not sleepy, and suddenly he thought of something and took the book out of his arms.

Frowned, servants like Green who worked hard for the noble lord, generally did not know how to read, but because old Ham had been an accountant apprentice to a store when he was young. Although that store closed later, he also learned to read, which he had taught Green over the years.

Green frowned, however, because the handwriting on the cover of the book was very unusual in everyday life and was a strange word.

It took a long time for Green to recognize the words.

“Nasal Transformation and Odor Atlas"? What the hell is this? ”

Green glanced at him and thought it was a biographical novel of the bard, which was also the favorite book of the aristocratic ladies and sons, but did not expect that the aristocratic lady had just thrown such a strange name.

Wait

Green suddenly thought of something, stared wide-eyed, full of wonder!

Isn't this the Wizard's book on mysterious magic?

Wizards, who have always been noble lords, are qualified to talk about, and ordinary people never even see a wizard with a mysterious whereabouts in their lifetime.

In the eyes of ordinary people, wizards possess mysterious witchcraft, full of evil and mystery. Often there are rumours that wizards will carry out some massacres of civilians, eat the eyes of children, and carry out wicked witchcraft experiments with the civilian population of Nappu.

But these wizards are awe-inspiring because they can easily kill civilians and even knights and hold extraordinary power.

Even Green has fantasized more than once, what exactly do the mysterious great wizards rely on to master those mysterious great powers, why can't ordinary people control them?

If you become a wizard and master the power of mystery and greatness, you don't have to look at the face of the nobleman anymore, do you?

With an incredible divine colour, Green quickly turned over the book he had just obtained, "Nasal Transformation and Odor Atlas", a word for word starter, sometimes encountering strange words, and had to think about it and even skip it temporarily.

Slowly, a shock began to appear on Green's face as if it opened a whole new door to the world!

The so-called odor is the most irritating odor, which occupies half of the organism's ability to distinguish the sense of smell, by dividing the volatile molecules of different substances in the air through the biological olfactory system.

According to the Odor Atlas, normal humans are able to distinguish between 300 and 400 different smells, and occasionally some functionally specific people are able to distinguish between about 600 smells.

But this scent is so low compared to some other creatures!

Baby chickens, for example, are creatures capable of crying like human babies, which, according to experiments, can distinguish at least 6,500 different scents.

For example, Yin Butterfly, a magical creature that can only survive by collecting odors, can distinguish more than 8,200 smells...

The book mentions that the creature known to capture the most scents in the air, called a three-headed dog, is a creature that many wizards dare not provoke, enough to distinguish any known scent that a wizard can separate, for a total of 17,852.

The three-headed dog's sense of smell, Jane, until it reaches an incredible agenda!

"Nosehunting Transformation", which describes a book on witchcraft that demonstrates the perfect evolution of the sense of smell, according to the physical condition of the wizard, to transform himself like some bio-sensitive olfactory sensation.

Among them, magic and witchcraft experiments involve a lot of strange materials, and Green hasn't figured out one of the most common words in the book so far, cells?

“Green, Green! ”

The old Ham shouted twice before Green returned from the wonder of the magic book, helping the old Ham start dumping the garbage from the carriage by putting away the magic book.

After dumping all the garbage from the carriage, Green followed Old Ham into buying goods from the Viscount's territory for the consumption of the noble lords tonight, in accordance with past practice.

Only in the evening did Old Ham and Green transport all the goods to Viscount House in the city, then took a dozen copper plates and drove them back to the countryside. Green still forgot to look at my Nasal Transformation and Odor Atlas.

Old Ham looked back at Green and sighed: “You child, today is really magical. Is this book that good? ”

Green chuckled, didn't say much, just filled his heart with yearning and shock for this mysterious world of wizards.

Is there really a mountain life in the world that can move?

Rivers flowing down from the sky?

And what's going on with those so-called exotic worlds?

What is the principle that wizards master powerful magic and witchcraft?

A series of questions came to Green's mind, but no one could answer them.

“Hey, you're 17 years old, right? Well, we'll renovate the house next year and see if we can find a suitable girl from the neighborhood to make you a woman. I hope I can take a look at my grandson before I bury this old bone. ”

Old Ham was talking.

Green didn't raise his head and whispered, “What are you talking about? Your elderly parents live a long life. ”

“Hehe…”

Old Ham smiled and continued to drive the carriage back to that familiar road.
