A Wish to Grab Happiness

Episode 497: The History of Mankind

Left wing of the human army. Three thousand crest instructors, led by Kalia, thump their ears, and use formation to relate to the Demon Army.

Numerous iron spears thrust up eat and kill the tough skin of the Warcraft like swarmed serpents. The bleeding was repeated and the giant man-eater, the demon horse, was desperate as he hissed heavily. The silver light of iron reflects the sunlight and sends a flash of brilliance down to the battlefield.

Having followed Rugis and repeated the battle, they had a certain habit and skill. It is accustomed to the madness of the Warcraft, the skill with which it treats the mightier than man.

The warcraft on all fours mainly have only frontal gaze, hence being very vulnerable to threats from above. Warcraft running with two legs on the other hand can deal with it so much as humans.

And the Demon Army, many of them unlike humans, had no weapons. They believe that their claw fangs and their witchcraft are the greatest threat.

In fact, if you want to do humans, you can make them play that skull with one arm. Their confidence was never about chronicity.

- But in the end they do not see why demonization has taken the hegemony of the continent.

It is true that it depends on Altia's merits that he killed the Great Demon, the Demon Man, to the full extent. But then mankind continued to spread its prints with its own spears. If humans really couldn't resist the Warcraft, time would have rolled back after Altia's death.

But it didn't. Humanity is not so fragile, etc. They held swords and spears to counter the fangs of the Warcraft and hardened themselves with thick protective equipment.

The history of mankind is nothing more than, in other words, the history of the battle against warcraft. It was centuries after Altia that humans began to repeat their battles. Humanity has always stood up to warcraft.

There is no way that humanity, which has continued to build up its history, can easily be defeated by demons who now merely repeat their assaults.

A soldier in a row throws a large spear simultaneously. The sound of waving through the sky and the whimpering of eating meat. That kept ringing a few times.

"- All right, stand up, Archer. Coming."

said Karia, a giant with more fierceness than a warcraft in her silver eyes. The black scarlet on its waist is finally painted with blood.

At the end of his vision, there was a devil bird spreading his big wings. No, it's unclear exactly what a bird should be called. Kalia never remembers seeing it, such as a bird that flies around in flames to cover its surroundings with heat.

Scales are the invisible, but maybe they are the family of dragons who were told that they were doomed after a moment. I do see so much beauty.

"Dragons or birds? That's a warcraft dollar. What do you want me to do, let you leave for a while?"

The commander of the front row asks Kalia. The troop leader had heard of the bird monster in that hand several times in history. A monster warcraft addle that brings in ruin and invariably turns a man's city into a mass of mud. I've even been worshipped as an evil god in one area in the past.

It was a demon army that repelled several times, but it seemed to be attempting another assault so that it could be taken to Adore.

If the addle doesn't stop, it's impossible to keep the formation in flames from above. Then after taking out the front row formation, pulling in the demon birds and shooting them to kill is the least damaging.

Whatever it is, it's based on the fact that Monster Adore can be killed.

Karia replied with a laugh as she tried to bite the words of the troop leader. He seemed to lean his little neck.

"- Are you serious, sir? I don't mind if you're a wooden adventurer. Whose army are you?"

"Well, it must be that one. Not even your soldiers."

The troop leader was a perfectly candid man. Whatever the meaning of the word, few soldiers spit out words this straight to Kalia. There's a grin sticking to that cheek, just like Kalia.

But the relationship between Kalia and the Force Leader was oddly good, because he likened the Lord. Maybe there was something close to spirituality.

"Then what if you care about that extent? He'd laugh with his nose."

"Got it. Yeah, yeah. It must be. Either way, the soldiers are unwilling to leave."

If you look around you properly, the archers were squeezing arrows from the left and right houses, and from the inside of the formation to see if this was still the case, and the infantry very much only saw the enemy in the front. One or two of the cold sweats would be on, but it didn't look like I showed it.

Even so, the troop leader whines in his chest. Whose men are we fighting at, at whose feet? I don't even have to ask. I made sure to lurk my voice and gave instructions to my men.

"Spear soldiers stay down and don't look up. After the archer's backup, that bird is bound to be frightened once too. Overwhelm with that breath, kill it."

No longer in the sight of the troop leader, the historical monster addle was no different than just a warcraft. I'm sure that hero thought the same thing.

◇ ◆ ◇ ◆

It's still insane. Bernard, a soldier of the crest religion, lifted his wavy blade to his waist, and leaked his words small as he held a gray-haired girl beside him.

Words contain a variety of meanings. For example, it was against the compatriots who had not yet retreated in the wake of an assault by the Demon Army, and against the current situation, which allowed them to act alone, once betrayed Rugis.

Didn't you think you'd run away? Bernard throws a few uncertain questions into the void, thinking at the same time. I guess they didn't think. What an abomination that fact was.

Girl - With Reu by his side, Bernard drives down the back road. I was aiming for a point where I could turn behind the Demon Army, which is just now storming repeatedly.

"Um, are you okay? Isn't it heavy?"

"It's rather too light. I guess I ate the bread and dried meat well this morning."

That didn't bother the girl, she was really surprisingly light. The more I worry about it compared to my kids around the same age.

Bernard narrows his eyes as he tells the girl who keeps talking not to bite her tongue. I saw a demon soldier ahead. It's a dog-headed Kobolt soldier. The number is two. It's not even a wind of troops, perhaps a handful of surrounding scouts.

Bernard did not stop his legs when he saw them. Pull the blade out of your lower back in an instant as you extend your long arm.

- And tore off the Kobolt soldier's neck with a flowing trick as it was. Blood splashes jump and dirty Bernard's cheek.

While the other Kobolt soldier was upset, he showed the trick of swinging his arms up and pointing his nails. The brilliance of raging eyes and a fierce voice that intimidates.

But all of that was pointless.

Bernard returns the blade he shook down and shakes it straight up toward heaven. That kept eating the surviving neck. Just two swings, and two cobolts are doomed.

I'm not exactly dead yet, but I can no longer move and just wait for my death.

With the swooping blade in one hand, Bernard silently tramples the head of the Warcraft on the spot. And I said it as I unloaded Reu.

"Now, I'm sorry about the noise, but it's a battlefield. This way, I'll just poke behind them. I haven't even heard what you're going to do. Is that all right?"

Reu looked at the blood and slightly narrowed his eyes, but still snorted.

Bernard had heard that she was a magician, but only Kalia had heard that she would make a role here. I looked him in the eye.

"Enough,. It's a little big."

That's how Reu gently spreads his arms out. That was just how it worked.

Moments, the crimson gems scatter about whether there are hundreds of them on that street. Bernard accidentally peeled off his eyes.

I had no idea that so many magicians would accomplish things with chants, while so many little girls would produce gems without words.

Reu said quietly, leaving Bernard stunned.

"- People to gems, gems to people. I owe you some power, Agatos."

Gems change their size little by little. As if it had been so from the beginning, a mass of stone was beginning to take the shape of a person.
