Abe the Wizard

Chapter 27: Wolf Cavalry

Half an hour out of Harvest City, Abel and Master Bentham are sharing forging experience. In fact, it's basically Master Bentham who coaches Abel. Abel has been learning forging for too short a time. Although he is learning quickly and has become a master, his experience is much different from that of Master Bentham.

Talking, Abel suddenly felt the carriage stop and had to lift the curtain and ask, “What's wrong? ”

The driver said in a somewhat stunned voice: “Something is wrong in the village ahead, something seems to have happened. ”

And Abel said to Master Bentham, "Master, you stay in the car, I'll go check it out. ”

Master Bentham laughed: “I'm a level five fighter too, don't worry about me. ”

For Master Bentham, a level 5 warrior, Abel highly doubts his combat power, knowing that even the Marshall knights insist on training knights every day to maintain and improve their combat skills, while Master Bentham, Abel has not seen a master practice martial arts since he met the master.

But Abel didn't insist either, coming out of the trunk with Master Bentham, and seeing a black smoke in the village in the distance.

“I'll go ahead and check it out.” Abel returned from the trunk to take out the big sword of ice magic built at the Blacksmith's Guild, which had not been decorated in time and was ugly in appearance, but did not affect its defensive function.

“Be careful.” Master Bentham ordered.

Abel waved, indicating he knew, and then walked to the village.

The closer you get to the village, the more Abe feels something's wrong. It's not a little fire anymore, it's the whole village's house being lit.

When he approached the village, Abel was stunned by the scene in front of him. The ground was full of villagers' bodies, and some of them seemed to have been torn apart by animals and become incomplete.

Even more heinous is the fact that Abel also saw many corpses of children, adults and children, scattered throughout the village, which, as can be seen, was an unequal massacre, an organized massacre carried out by one side under the absolute superiority of the other, and in the history of the world known to Abel, such massacres of civilians have rarely occurred, even in invasions by other countries.

Arbor circled the village without living people, as if the killers were very experienced, or in any particular way, all the hiding places had traces of being torn open, and the people were killed directly inside.

Abel never had a moment of repression, and although this was not the territory of his family's knightly lord, as a human being, he still had a sense of empathy.

What he saw when he came to this world was a picture of peace, even if it was attacked, and he thought it was just like the original world, that some people would always commit crimes. Today, for the first time, the scene he saw struck his heart, and the world was not as peaceful as imagined. Near his home, a village was slaughtered, what if it was his family? What if it's the Bennetts?

“O spirits, is this?” Master Bentham saw that Abel hadn't turned around for a long time, was not very comfortable, and rushed over, and when he saw the scene in front of him, he was stunned.

Master Bentham walked up to the body and carefully looked at the torn body. He said to Abel, with a heavy face, "It was the beast, it was the beast. ”

Said Master Bentham, pointing to the wound of the body: "This is the bite mark of a wolf, where a wolf cavalry has appeared. ”

The Lycan Cavalry is the dominant force of the Orthodox Empire. They are made up of werewolves and wolves. The Lycan Cavalry is very mobile, fast and flexible, making the Lycan Cavalry one of the best cavalry on the continent. The Lycan Cavalry's wolves are able to adapt to the difficult environment. During continuous combat, they can continue to fight by eating their killed enemies.

“Go back and tell the Knight Marshall!” Master Bentham thought of the presence of wolf cavalry here, and at the speed of wolf cavalry, all villages and castles in the vicinity would be in danger.

Master Abel and Master Bentham quickly returned to the carriage, which, driven at full capacity by the driver, rushed towards Castle Harry.

……

Simon is a werewolf, a werewolf cavalry to be exact, and his partner is a wolf called the Black Wind.

Simon's home is on a barren plain, he has 200 acres of land, he has nine brothers and sisters, he ranks second, 200 acres of land to produce food that does not meet the needs of their family, Simon has the potential to become a wolf cavalry, so his parents gave Simon a lot of resources, finally making him a wolf cavalry, but the rest of the brothers and sisters in the family can't eat enough.

In order to provide enough land for the family, Simon made the decision to participate in the death trials. Warriors who have returned from the death trials over the years will be rewarded with land seals and those who have been able to return will return full of gold coins and gems alone.

Simon tried so hard not to remind himself of how many people could come back alive every year to take part in death trials, and he just wanted him to be one of them.

Simon felt bad that the night before he passed through the Budapest Mountains, he placed his partner, the black wind, in the stable of the barracks, where there were many wolves, not knowing which of them was having an affair that day.

After flying the beast through the Budapest Mountains, a team of ten wolf cavalry members set out together and everything went smoothly after that, avoiding the town and attacking only small villages, but the successive victories gave Simon confidence in his trial.

Until one day, Simon discovered that his wolf was pregnant, that wolf was an extremely loyal creature, that its loyalty to its master was unparalleled on all rides, and that only after the wolf was born could the creature it saw at first sight become its master.

Werewolf pregnancy was a very pleasant thing to do, whether it was a matter of identifying his brother or transferring that right for a great deal of resources.

But this is the human world, where Simon fights all the time. Werewolf pregnancy greatly affects the power of Simon. In a previous village attack, although no resistance was encountered, too intense a movement made Simon's black wind reflect pregnancy and unable to keep up with the team's actions, and the team's other werewolf cavalry were unwilling to put them in danger for Simon's sake. You know that one of the main reasons these teams can attack around the human world is their speed, and the speed of the wolf cavalry is the key to deciding if they can survive.

Simon stayed and was alone with his wolf, the black wind, and he dared not enter the open ground, but hid in the jungle, waiting for the western wind to produce.

Every day Simon hunts in the jungle, and every time he gets enough food to feed Simon and the Black Wind, he often wonders when he can have this land, when he can't eat enough food, and the richness of the human world attracts countless beasts like Simon to try to take it and occupy it.

Simon carved a line on the tree every day, counting the time, and now he just wants to spend two months safely in the jungle, then go to the rendezvous point and return to the Orc Empire.
