Chapter 607: Inside The Secret Realm - 1 (Slight R18)

"Master~ Please spare your lovely slave..." Lily lovingly whispered into Leo’s ear while she straddled his body.

They had just finished the joint session and were resting. The full moon’s silvery glow was already streaming into the room through the window.

"At least drop the act when nobody is listening," Leo said with a chuckle while hugging her tightly, enjoying the feel of Lily’s supple breasts against his chest.

"Mhm~ If I drop the act in even the slightest of safe moments, then I might slip up on necessary occasions. So I have decided to stay in character all the time while we are on any mission." Then Lily slid up to his face level and affectionately pressed her cheeks against his.

"But I don’t know why we are doing this in such a dangerous place?"

"Uh..." Leo didn’t have any good excuse other than that he simply wanted to, but he still thought it over.

"Well, this is a manipulative tactic to make the demons firmly believe that we are just normal people."

"Oh~" Lily smiled slyly.

"So if you had been a regular adventurer, you would do your slave senseless any time you got the opportunity? Even when injured?"

Leo coughed awkwardly.

"Well..." He didn’t have any more excuses left.

"Heheh," Lily giggled cheerfully as she shifted into a spooning position, her body in complete contact with Leo’s from shoulders to knees, letting his hand rest firmly on her pillowy mound and making him press down slightly while his erect member directly pressed between her tights.

"Since that is the case, then your slave still seems to be well conscious; it looks like you aren’t acting like an ideal adventurer."

"I feel like we should regularly practice being like any normal adventurer and slave; it might help us in future missions." She said with a wide smile as Leo merely raised his brow at her naughtiness.

"So... you are already planning to be my slave on multiple occasions?" Leo shook his head.

With that, the rest of the night passed while they practised their act.

Next morning...

Currently, Leo seemed to be meditating while trying to focus on something.

"Hmm, Patric or any other party members don’t seem to have any sort of effect yet; it looks like the drug takes time to do anything."

Lily, who had just taken a bath and was combing her hair, looked toward him.

"Shyra won’t be in any danger, right?" she asked, a bit worried.

"Well, nobody sensed her at the moment when I summoned her yesterday, and in her stealth, she can even sneak up on Peak 4-star or even Pseudo 5-star individuals. She will be fine."

Leo said as he observed Patric’s party’s situation.

Since Leo didn’t know when or how the drug would take effect, he needed a reference. In other words, while observing Patric’s party, he would see when the drug took effect and act accordingly to make it look like he had experienced a similar effect.

"Leo, these people still seem to be outside..." Lily informed him while pretending to comb her hair, watching through the small mirror in her hand as she stood in front of the window.

"They must be keeping an eye on us to check if we are really normal. These demons are really cautious; I have to commend them."

Leo kept checking Patric’s party’s condition every moment and even headed out toward the Adventurer Guild to get his payment and rewards when they headed out.

They exchanged a brief greeting before getting in line.

This time, however, Shreya didn’t bother to bicker with Leo, as if she were already lost in her thoughts.

Both Leo and Lily knew exactly why.

Since the healing potion wasn’t of superior quality, meaning it only healed just enough so that people wouldn’t be in danger of dying, the scars from the injury would remain.

The thick bandage and now even a hand support for her near-amputated arm were still present on Shreya, and the careful way she walked showed just how serious it was, or else the arm would really need to be amputated.

She didn’t even look happy when Patric offered nearly one-third of the payment they received... which was 16 Gold coins out of the 48—after cutting the 20% for the party’s consumable costs.

Because out of those 16 Gold coins, she would need to pay 14 Gold coins for the 10 mana potions and 1 healing potion she had used over the past 10 days.

After that, she would be left with barely 2 Gold coins, or 3 or 4 with the money she already had, but she still needed to get her broken wand repaired, which would cost more than 2 Gold coins. In other words, she would either need to risk falling into debt to afford healing potions or live with the scars.

And falling into debt was something she would absolutely not allow herself if an alternative existed—in other words, living with the scars.

I can never be like that Natalie slave woman... being fucked every day by some bastard of a person... She gritted her teeth.

At least that man seems to care for her a little... she thought.

Because slaves like Natalie fell into an extremely lucky category of slaves who got masters that showed a hint of care for them, or else there were masters worse than demons in some scenarios.

Even thinking about the old memories in her head made Shreya shiver. As an adventurer, she had seen a fair share of things in life, and that even included the treatment slaves received from their masters.

She was especially sensitive to it since she was a woman, because even while a slave, the person subjected to that treatment was still another woman, even if they belonged to a different social standing.

Leo finally received his payment, and he was surprised to see the amount of money he got.

Leaving aside the guaranteed payment of 30 Silver Coins and 50 Bronze Coins, his reward was astonishing—24 Gold Coins.

And since Natalie’s share was automatically his, he received the full 24 Gold coins for his personal use.

This was because Leo had let himself loose on some occasions and gone on a killing spree, not to mention that the amount even included his share after selling the beast corpses. As for the beast cores and mana crystals that he had extracted, he quietly kept them for use in his territory.

But he still didn’t forget to act like a typical adventurer.

"Ahh, fuck! This is barely going to cover my healing potions and strength potion costs. Tsk, looks like nothing can be done..."

Saying that, Leo simply headed to the other counter to buy new potions that he had consumed—or pretended to consume—during the caravan’s 10-day trip.

At that moment, his ears caught Patric’s group’s discussion about heading into the Great Forest Secret Realm of Tilgarth City.
