Layer 222 is home to the Slime Lord—Jupiter Lex (Demon), a bubbling swamp, constantly seeping with foul-smelling sludge, known as the Amoeba Sea. The corrosive slimes created peculiar life-forms, sometimes in accordance with the residing demons’ will, and sometimes spontaneously.

[Cold Fortress]

Layer 348 consists of a desolate, withered plain, filled with chaotic boulders, uneven peaks, and ominous canyons devoid of life. Blood-red clouds kiss the sky, and a cold wind lashes the travelers’ eyes and skin. The Cold Fortress stands here, a solitary 200-foot-tall black lattice tower. Various humanoid creatures were merged into the metal for horrifying mortar. Most were dead, but many were undead, constantly howling and clawing at the air.

A Judgment Soul Demon named Tafen rules this fortress. Tafen bears horrific scars and always wears a rusty iron frame to stand his bloated body upright with long hooks.

Though he had never truly set foot in these lands, whenever Chen Feng’s consciousness was immersed in them, he could immediately gather information about them.

Abyss Summoner.

Since acquiring this ability, perhaps Chen Feng had formed some connection with the Abyss, gaining the opportunity to peer into it.

As a result, Chen Feng imprinted all the knowledge of this dimension; when needed, that knowledge transforms to convey everything Chen Feng wishes to know.

This undoubtedly deepened Chen Feng’s understanding of the Abyss.

These are two rather peculiar planes, filled with either Slimes or undead, Chen Feng was not acknowledged. And as the offering continued, a massive entity, describable only with fear, appeared in his mind.

The ruler of this plane, revered as the [Great Mistress].

The incarnation of the Great Mistress appears like a bloated and corpulent Eye Demon pieced together from various remnants—rubble, debris, mineral crystals, weapon and armor fragments, carapace, dragon teeth, and other assorted fragments. She can cast spells from all Mage factions and those on the Priest domain spell list (including inverted healing and sun spells and summoning).

This ruler’s massive body floats effortlessly, traversing dimensions at will. When preparing to lay the gigantic eggs nurturing the Matron Eye responsible for leading the Eye Demon armies to invade various worlds, she returns to her mysterious and unfathomable domain in the Bottomless Abyss.

It is said she has mated with Tanari Demons, Grilles Demons, and even more monstrous races; rumor even tells of her devouring mates during breeding. The offspring of this union spread their hideous forms throughout the Lower Realm.

Under such dreadful mating rituals, the Eye Demon population began to increase and mutate!

In contrast to rulers of other planes, the Great Mistress creates a race of life single-handedly, and those born with distorted bloodlines are [Eye Demons].

"Eye Demons are an adventurer’s nightmare. Known by the synonyms ’Ball of Many Eyes’ and ’Tyrant of Giant Eyes’, these creatures are indeed terrifying foes for all adventurers.

An Eye Demon is a six-foot-wide sphere with a large, fanged maw, the entire function controlled by a central eye. In addition, ten small eyestalks extend from the top of the sphere. The Eye Demon communicates using its language and a common tongue.

Eleven known types of Eye Demons exist.

They are: Elder Eye, Matron Eye, Dead Eye Tyrant, Death’s Pestle Eye, Guide Eye, Abyssal Eye, Pearl Sphere Eye, Gauss Eye Demon, Tongueborer Eye, Warlord Eye, Insight Eye.

Creating a race on one’s own.

This is undoubtedly admirable.

The Great Mistress only dispatches her incarnation to protect her creations when they are severely threatened in a certain world or continent. If the enemy consists of Zor Elves or agents of lawful good elements, she’s most likely to intervene.

Despite this, she remains a capricious entity, sometimes ignoring the dwindling numbers of Eye Demons in a world, and other times flying into a rage over slight deceptions by offspring, and she generally doesn’t care about omens or signs of small events.

After all, there are too many offspring; over countless years, the Eye Demon numbers have overflowed into every corner of a plane’s levels. Even possessing power on par with an Evil God, caring for each one is simply beyond the Great Mistress’s concern.

Chen Feng’s consciousness lingered in this plane; he saw everything in the plane and the dense swarms of Eye Demons.

"This is the territory of the Great Mistress; Eye Demons are everywhere. Entering without being Legendary Level is just throwing away your life!"

"There are many strong beings here, and some even exude epic and more powerful aura levels. The Great Mistress has occupied this place for countless years; compared to the so-called Insect Realm, it’s like comparing a brook to a reservoir!"

A powerful entity has responded to the call; the offerings had attracted attention, and recalling that it was the territory of the Great Mistress, Chen Feng realized this time the Summoned Beast was clearly an Eye Demon, but the uncertain matter was which kind of Eye Demon had responded?

The number of Eye Demons in the Ten Thousand Eyes Abyss was truly excessive. There were eleven major types alone, plus some sporadic mutant species, totaling even exceeding fifty types.

A black rift opened in mid-air; just as Chen Feng posed his question, an Eye Demon with two arms appeared before him in this way.

The other party’s [body] sprouted two clawed arms. The arms resembled those of humanoid creatures, covered with scales. Observing closely, one could even find those scales were very similar to those on Snake Demons.
