After swallowing the last bit of meat from the arm, the Inferior Demon looked at the armor-clad Gray Dwarf. His face should have been filled with intense fear, sadness, or despair, but now, he simply stood there dazed, waiting for death’s arrival.

The Inferior Demon hadn’t enjoyed such a privilege for a long time. Ever since she took a human form, she’s been striving to become a lady, instead of an aberration composed of mud and flesh.

But her true nature is that of a Demon. No matter how much she disguises her appearance, she can’t replace the fact that she is a truly chaotic and evil being. She often feels a surge of frenzied desire for slaughter in her heart. Once she can’t control herself, she’ll choose to venture into the Abyss, needing some killing to quell her craving for blood.

Therefore, when Chen Feng instructed her to deal with the prey before her, she was slightly worried. Was this perhaps a test from her master? Or some deeper reason? If he wishes to retreat fully, he must prepare for the worst in everything.
