It is certain that Dark Night Elves are not a depraved race, nor are they Zor Elves; the former are tree-dwelling creatures, while the latter are a group of cave-dwelling elves.

Dark Night Elves have treasures of their own, a group of trees capable of thought and movement: the Life Tree, Ancient Tree, Eternal Tree, War Ancient Tree, Wind Ancient Tree, Ancient Tree of Knowledge, and Ancient Protectors.

Some ancient trees that have existed for a long age even possess power not inferior to or even superior to legend rank.

In the eyes of Dark Night Elves, the Life Tree is a magnificent divine tree capable of nurturing life; to be called the Life Tree, it must have existed for at least a thousand years. Female Dark Night Elves possess the ability of Shadow Escape, where at night, when they stand still, they become automatically invisible. Besides this, after becoming Dark Night Elves, their vision will be enhanced, maintaining a wide view even at night like in the daytime.

The bloodline of purebred elves cannot be altered, but half-elves are an exception; they have part of their blood belonging to humans, thus they can undergo this wondrous transformation.

"Why did Elwin think of giving you a branch of the Life Tree?" Chen Feng asked with some puzzlement.

When asked this, Mata appeared somewhat flustered, her face turning exceedingly red, which was evidently an unusual reaction for a Gold powerhouse.

Considering Elwin’s usual state, Chen Feng said, "If it’s inconvenient, you don’t have to say it."

Mata breathed a sigh of relief and hurriedly said, "Thank you... Rest assured, I am loyal to you, I can swear to the God of Elves!"

"Alright, have you completely absorbed the energy of the Life Tree? How long until the transformation is complete?" Chen Feng was not curious about their little transaction, he just wanted to know when Mata would transform into a genuine Dark Night Elf.

A fish tank cannot raise big fish, as its environment limits their growth. Only in the vast ocean can there be whales, these indescribably colossal creatures.

Chen Feng feels trapped in a fish tank; although he is legend rank now, to progress further, he must face new challenges and enemies, and this land is clearly unable to fulfill his hunger for power.
