Chapter 134: Vengeance
"My Liege, the seven youngsters want to go ahead and fight first!" Ethar stepped forward and knelt beside Rios’s Abyss Cloud.
The seven youngsters were the seven most outstanding individuals among the new generation. They were also the ones who had received the Level Five weapons!
They were...
The three Heaven bloodline holders: Imris, Ethar, and Ayat.
In addition to the four most talented individuals among those with mutated Legendary bloodlines. They were....
The twins Lanor and Leonor of the Light Elves. In addition to the daughter of the Flame Clan Leader, Valeria. And finally, the quiet commoner boy, the Frost Dragon, Ranus!
After thinking carefully for a while, Rios smiled in amusement and nodded toward Etham. "Let them go and gain some experience, but be careful of any sudden changes or unwanted surprises, and don’t let anyone interfere with their hunt."
"Understood, My Liege." Etham immediately bowed and went to inform them of the new orders.
---
"Go ahead now, His Majesty has given you permission. But be careful, no one will interfere unless there is an obvious danger threatening your lives!" The seven stood before Etham and Thandria, and they were warned about the important matters.
"Don’t worry about us. We aren’t the ones who should be worried. The Giants are the ones who should prepare their coffins and graves." Ethar took out his giant hammer and slammed it against the ground, causing it to tremble beneath him, while speaking in an angry tone with eyes filled with hatred!
To everyone’s surprise, Ethar wasn’t the only one carrying such hateful eyes. All seven of them had the same expression!
Every single one of them had lost a family member, or their entire family, because of the Giants.
Imris and Ayat had each lost their father in the war against the Giants.
Valeria and Ranus had each lost their mother for the same reason.
As for Ethar and the Light twins, Lanor and Leonor, they had lost their entire families because of those monsters... Especially Ethar, as this was his homeland, where he had lost his parents!
The seven quickly advanced toward the walls of Wood City. When they arrived, they didn’t sneak in. Instead, Ethar swung his hammer with all his strength and...
BOOOOOOM!
The hammer struck with tremendous force, sending a sound through the area like the roar of thunder and destroying a large section of the wall!
"There is no need to search for them. Let them come to us!" Ethar slowly advanced with confidence, and anyone who walked beside him could feel an aura of hatred and resentment surrounding him.
The remaining six looked at each other and nodded before following Ethar.
"Let’s bet on who will kill the most Giants." Lanor, who was tall and handsome, looked toward Imris challengingly, and before he could even receive Imris’s answer, he finished speaking and rushed off to hunt. "The loser will call the winner ’lord.’"
Imris looked at Lanor’s back as it disappeared into the distance and narrowed his eyes before smiling confidently.
Challenges between him and Lanor had been common ever since they met.
As both of them were nobles, they had quickly gotten along with each other.
But before Imris could rush after him, Ayat warned him!
"Give it your all and don’t underestimate him. I heard that he stopped studying the cosmic law of Formation and instead studied the major law of Light. I also heard that he received direct guidance from Her Majesty the Queen, and that he and his sister have reached 100% comprehension of the first degree of the major law of Light!" Ayat said seriously, warning Imris, before flying into the air and catching up with the others!
"One hundred percent!" Imris stood there muttering in shock, then turned around and found no one there!
"Dammit, they left me behind!"
---
Inside the city.
"Who is disturbing the Giants! Who dares to trespass on the territory of the Giants?" Two Giants taller than twenty-five meters advanced between the houses, destroying several dilapidated walls as they searched for the source of the disturbance!
They were Giants at the peak of Level Three.
"Tsk! Filthy creatures!" Ranus, with blue hair and a pale face, advanced with a sharp look of disgust as he stared at the two Giants. In his hand, he dragged an extremely sharp crystal spear.
The spear was made of a material resembling blue crystal, and as he dragged it across the ground, it left a clear trail of ice!
Ranus quickened his steps more and more until he reached one of the Giants in the blink of an eye!
CHAAAAAAK!
The sharp sound of flesh being torn and bones being pierced rang out as Ranus’s spear pierced through the Giant’s foot, like a sharpened wooden straw piercing through a piece of marshmallow. But surprisingly, no scream or any other sound came from the Giant!
The moment the spear pierced through its foot, the Giant’s blood and brain began freezing instantly, and within moments, the Giant fell apart into pieces of ice upon hitting the ground!
"You’re next!" Ranus turned toward the second Giant with a cold and calm expression, as if what he had just killed was merely an insect rather than a Giant that had terrified the Elves for decades!
---
"How boring you guys are!" Leonor, who resembled her brother in height and handsomeness, flew through the air thanks to the Sky Knight armor. She held a bow made from two opposing wings and aimed at three Giants.
Whoosh! Whoosh! Whoosh!
Three arrows shot from Leonor’s bow at once, piercing through the air toward the foreheads of the three Giants!
"Arrrgh! Arrrgh! Arrrgh!"
Three consecutive screams rang out from the three Giants after the arrows struck them precisely in the middle of their foreheads, and they soon fell dead.
"Next!" Leonor smiled and brushed her golden hair backward before going to search for the next Giant.
---
In a different area, flames blazed around the place. Valeria, with her stunning beauty, stood amidst the flames, with two flame dragons made of fire surrounding her. She stared at two Giants in front of her while holding a scepter made of ancient wood with a giant red gem at its top!
"Destroy them!" Valeria waved her scepter toward the two Level Three Giants before her, ordering the dragons!
"Rrrraaaawr! Rrrraaaawr!"
The roar of the dragons echoed through the area, and they quickly obeyed Valeria’s orders and attacked the Giants!
The dragons unleashed flames upon the Giants, burning their bodies until nothing remained but ash!
---
"I can’t see! I can’t see!"
Three Giants recklessly swung their weapons around the area, unable to see anything around them.
Their eyes were completely white. They couldn’t see even a single ray of light.
But their screams did not last long, because their heads suddenly fell from their necks, turning their necks into fountains of blood!
After their bodies fell to the ground, Lanor stood atop one of them and wiped the traces of blood from his thin, sharp sword with a white handkerchief. He then threw it away and headed toward his next target.
---
Ayat hovered in the air and looked toward two Giants before her with extreme disgust. She then extended her hand toward the two Giants, and the golden bracelet around her wrist lit up with white and green runes. Suddenly, a violent storm erupted and surrounded the two Giants.
Within moments, the Giants had been sliced into pieces by blades of wind!
---
Four Giants walked through one corner of the city, searching for the source of the disturbance. But suddenly, as they walked, lines of blood appeared around their necks. Their movements stopped, their eyes widened, and they looked toward nothingness in shock before their bodies fell lifelessly to the ground, dead without even knowing how they had died or who had killed them!
Imris, whose eyes resembled the Abyss, appeared at this moment above the corpse of one of the Giants, holding the two daggers. There wasn’t a single drop of blood staining him or his weapons.
This style resembled Lanor’s greatly, but they differed in how they used it.
Neither of them could be seen by their enemies before their deaths.
However, unlike Imris, who controlled and hid within the darkness while leaving his enemies in the light, then pounced on them in a single attack without them even realizing or noticing it.
Lanor was always in the light while depriving his enemies of their vision, leaving them permanently in darkness, then also pouncing on them without them even realizing or noticing the executioner’s sword hovering above their heads!
"Next!" Imris disappeared into the darkness just as he had appeared, searching for his next prey!
---
"Where are you! Where are you!" Ethar looked around nervously, searching for a specific target.
From his elevated position, he could see many Giants roaming the fallen city, who were being hunted at this moment by his companions.
He could descend and hunt like them, but he remained in his place, searching for his target.
"I found you!" After searching for some time, Ethar finally found his target.
Ethar gritted his teeth in hatred, his eyes gleaming with resentment. He pressed hard against the ground and then leaped as far as he could!
---
Ranus stood before two Giants thirty meters tall, each holding a giant wooden club decorated with numerous sharp and destructive metal spikes.
Ranus was preparing to attack and turn them into ice statues like those before them, but a strange object suddenly fell beside him. A strange hand emerged from the dust and grabbed his shoulder, while an angry voice filled with hatred reached his ear.
"The one on the right is mine. You can do whatever you want with the one on the left."
