Chapter 116: Emergence

In a place far from the Forest of Light... the Silver Highlands.
Inside the Cave of the Giant Kings.
The six Giant Kings sat upon their stone thrones as usual, watching the bloated giant hanging from the wall, swaying on the thin line between life and death with every passing moment for years now.
The only thing that had stopped the Giant Kings from killing him and getting rid of him was the little cub inside his stomach, who had now grown to a length of fifteen meters!
"Damn it, how much longer until that damned cub comes out? I’m sick of sitting here all this time."
The one-axed giant, **Thorgar**, spat to the side and cursed loudly.
"It has grown a lot recently. It will most likely emerge within the next few weeks at most."
The oldest giant, **Grimar**, stroked his long, thick white beard as he looked at the swollen belly... and the cub inside it.

The thinnest of the six giants, **Rodak**, laughed with an ugly grin as he sharpened his circular blade.
"They were only able to stand against us before because they possessed those high-quality weapons. But now that we’ve forged weapons of our own, I want to see how many of them can survive against me."
The battle-crazed giant **Magnus** rested both hands on his two massive axes while sitting upon his throne and spoke angrily.
There was an overwhelming feeling of suppression among the six Giant Kings, as though they were beasts trapped inside a cage, yearning to break free and slaughter everything before them.
But amid the frightening silence that suddenly filled the cave... and the sluggish restraint of the Giant Kings...
**Crack!**
"Did anyone hear that?"
The first to notice it was **Nimrok**, the red-haired giant wielding twin swords.
**Crack! Crack!**
The tearing sound came again, this time much louder.
"It’s coming from the cub!"
Grimar raised a hand toward the enormous belly, looking at it in surprise and delight.
"It’s about to come out!"
Bragun rose from his throne and stared at the cub with anticipation.
**Crack! Crack! Crack!**
**GROOOOOAR!!**
The giant cub swung its arm several times, violently ripping apart the host giant’s organs with savage brutality, causing the giant hanging from the wall to scream in endless agony.

After that relentless tearing, the cub finally opened its eyes.
The first thing it looked at was the **core** overflowing with energy inside the host giant’s chest!
**Crack! Crack! Crack!**
The little giant shot forward at astonishing speed, tearing through the host giant’s stomach and organs until it reached his chest.
The moment it arrived before the **core**, it swallowed it without hesitation!
That **core** had belonged to a giant at the peak of **Level Three**.
If another newborn giant—or even one the same size as this cub—had swallowed it, its body would have exploded instantly.
But that wasn’t what happened.
The instant it swallowed the **core**, its body began growing steadily until it reached twenty meters in height!
After the **core** was devoured, the host giant finally stopped breathing.
He was dead.
**Grrrr... Grrrr...**
The cub finally crawled out of the dead giant’s abdomen, baring its fangs at the six Giant Kings.
Then suddenly—
**Whoosh!**
The small gray giant with the bald head lunged straight toward one of the six kings...
**Grimar!**
Faced with the attack of the newborn giant, the old giant merely smiled and stroked his thick white beard.
He drew one shoulder back, raised his fist high...
Then smashed it downward in one swift motion!
**BOOM!!**
Grimar’s massive fist crashed onto the cub’s head, slamming its face into the ground and blasting out a gigantic crater beneath it!
"Hohohohoho... To attack this old man the moment you’re born... you’ve got quite the courage. You truly deserve the title of Emperor of the Giants."
Grimar stroked his beard as he looked down at the little giant beneath him.
Then his blue eyes suddenly turned crimson.
He planted one foot firmly on the cub’s head, pinning it in place, before looking toward the other Giant Kings and giving an order.
"Restrain him!"
The moment they heard the command, the other Giant Kings’ eyes also turned crimson.
But instead of restraining the little giant...
They all rushed toward **Bragun**—the youngest Giant King—and immediately began wrapping heavy chains around him!
Bragun wasn’t startled by this sudden turn of events.
On the contrary...
He had expected it.
He smiled and spoke calmly.
"Tighten the chains well. Even tighter. I don’t want that idiot breaking them in a moment."
After finishing and making sure every chain was securely fastened, they nodded.
"All done."
Rodak patted Bragun’s shoulder, smiling.
"Good. Then I’ll begin now!"
The instant he finished speaking, Bragun’s eyes widened as the crimson glow within them deepened.
A strange black smoke poured out of his body before finally taking the shape of the phantom of a gigantic black dragon with blood-red eyes!
"We greet the **Lord**!"
The moment the dragon phantom appeared, the other five Giant Kings immediately knelt.
Even while kneeling, Grimar continued pinning the little giant beneath his foot.
Meanwhile, the crimson color vanished from Bragun’s eyes, returning them to their natural gray.
However...
Bragun himself did not return to normal.
"Who chained Bragun?! Bragun will smash you! Bragun will tear you apart! Bragun will—!"
"Shut up, you filthy **Chaos Abomination**!"
