CH 124: The Strange World
Light City.
A full week had passed since Rios announced his decision to begin reclaiming the Forest of Light.
Rios sat in the underground isolation room, with a worn golden piece of leather engraved with strange symbols lying before him!
"Shall we begin the experiment now?" Rios looked at the golden manuscript and remembered how he had been unable to interact with it before.
But now, after understanding the Laws, Rios could finally recognize what it contained.
Rios held the golden manuscript and began channeling the energy of the Law of Derivation into it. Unlike the last time, Rios felt a response from the golden manuscript this time!
The manuscript greedily devoured the energy of the Law of Derivation, and Rios began entering a strange state of unconsciousness.
And he was not the only one who fell into this state.
Inside Rios’s Soul Domain, where the strange entity was sealed inside the Soul Sphere, it was also in the same strange state Rios was experiencing.
But the strangest thing was that those strange, almost colorless symbols surrounding the white sphere also began to react, and they started changing into a pale golden color, exactly like the color of the manuscript!
Suddenly, the strange entity sealed inside the white sphere awakened and stared at the golden symbols in shock and terror!
"How! How can he activate these symbols? I’m the only one capable of activating them!" the strange entity muttered in shock and horror, then looked through Rios’s eyes at the golden manuscript. "What the hell is this manuscript, and how can it possess this ability?!"
In the training room, Rios found himself suddenly emerging from that strange state of meditation or unconsciousness, and he found his mind filled with new and hazy information that needed more time to comprehend.
"Shall we try again?"
Rios smiled and looked at the golden manuscript again, then sent the energy of the Law of Derivation into it once more.
But this time, the golden manuscript did not react!
"What is this? Do I only have one chance?" Rios looked at the manuscript in surprise, then realized something and smiled. "Then why don’t we try this?"
Rios sent his energy into the golden manuscript again, but this time it was not the energy of the Law of Derivation, but the energy of the Law of Life!
Just like before, Rios and the strange entity once again entered that state of unconsciousness, and the strange symbols reacted again. But just like last time, it seemed that there was still something strange missing for their radiance to become complete!
Rios soon emerged from his state of meditation, and found that this time as well, he had gained more hazy information that required further research and deeper understanding!
"If each Law only works once, then what if we do this?" Rios smiled with cunning and excitement, and sent his energy, infused with his understanding, into the remaining Laws.
Unlike the Cosmic Law of Derivation and the Cosmic Law of Life, which Rios fully understood, he also understood 50% of the Major Law of Blood and 20% of the Major Law of Arrays, in addition to 10% of the Cosmic Law of Creation!
After Rios purchased the first-grade technique for understanding the Cosmic Law of Creation and distributed many copies of it among those close to him and those worthy of studying it, he did not neglect himself either and spent some time studying it.
But after studying it for three consecutive days in the world dedicated to the Cosmic Law of Creation within the world of the Eternal Path, he found that it was an extremely difficult Law for him to comprehend.
He did not possess the Eternal Tree of Cradle’s bloodline, nor did he have any affinity toward this Law. After three full days of intensive study, Rios could only understand 10% of it, and the more he understood even the slightest part of it, the more difficult he found it.
Thus, Rios eventually gave up and stopped.
Rios first sent his energy, infused with his understanding, into the Major Law of Blood, then sent the energy of the Major Law of Arrays, and finally sent the energy of the Cosmic Law of Creation!
And every time Rios sent the energy of one of the Laws, he gained another piece of hazy information that required further research and deeper understanding.
After all this hazy and random information that needed to be organized, Rios felt a severe headache in his head. Yet despite that, he continued smiling as if he felt nothing.
At this moment, a crazy idea crossed his mind!
"What if we do this?!"
Rios once again sent his energy into the golden manuscript, but this time it did not contain his understanding of a single Law. Instead, it contained his understanding of all five Laws combined!
Surprisingly, it worked this time as well, but not in the usual way.
After Rios and the strange entity entered that state of unconsciousness again, the strange symbols within Rios’s Soul Domain lit up intensely, and a strange golden energy seeped out from them toward the golden manuscript!
For the first time in an unknown amount of time, the golden manuscript in Rios’s hand lit up!
During Rios’s strange unconsciousness, his consciousness was pulled into a completely different and strange place, a place that could not be described with mere words, and it was extremely difficult for anyone to imagine that such a place even existed.
It was not nothingness. There was space and existence.
But here, time and space were severely distorted, to the point that it was difficult even to identify or measure them.
Rios stood in place without feeling the place around him, even though there was no limit to his field of vision.
The space around him was colorless, yet at the same time, it possessed a strange color that could be recognized.
Rios felt that he existed, and in the next moment, he felt that he did not exist!

But the strange thing was that Rios and the strange entity were standing in the same place without either of them sensing the other, or either one’s body overlapping with the other’s, even though they felt the same emotions and saw the same visions!
These scenes did not last long, because suddenly, both Rios and the strange entity felt their minds expanding and their vision widening at an insane rate!
They wanted to scream. They wanted to smash their own heads to escape this torment, but they could not move.
And in an instant, Rios’s body collapsed onto the ground in the real world, unable to even breathe!
