"Tell me, Ricky of the Immortal Bloodline...

If we compare the Phoenix race alone against humanity...

What is the greatest thing you can possibly accomplish...?"

Faced with that question, Ricky remained silent. He frowned deeply as he looked at Iris’s blood-covered face after using him as nothing more than a club.

Among the spectators, the monsters displayed all kinds of reactions after hearing Iris’s words.

Some remained calm, continuing to watch the match as though nothing had happened.

Others gritted their teeth in anger.

And there were those who were far less rational, nearly attacking the humans sitting beside them, were it not for the laws of the Eternal Colosseum that restrained them and prevented such a thing from happening.

Within one of the most exclusive VIP sections, three men sat upon three seats. Standing respectfully on both sides of them were four maids, quietly waiting for any orders the three might give.

"Hahahaha! That boy Iris is truly impressive. He gave that arrogant chicken a history lesson it’ll never forget."

The handsome young man sitting in the seat on the left laughed. He looked to be around twenty years old. He had blue hair, while his body radiated a golden glow. On his chest was the emblem of a cloud surrounded by tiny stars, with a crescent moon emerging from it.

It was the symbol of the Immortal Eternal Night Empire.

The young man’s mocking laughter was directed at the person seated in the middle.

That person was a young man with green hair wearing rectangular glasses. Four spider-like legs extended from his back.

On his chest was the emblem of a jaw bearing six fangs...

The symbol of the Primordial Fangs.

"Even if that boy Iris loses today, he’ll gain tremendous fame. His reputation will multiply after this battle. The Hell Star and the Pulsing Star will certainly be proud of him... Especially since he’s both the youngest of his siblings and the most gifted among them."

On the right, a man was dressed entirely in black robes that seemed to absorb the surrounding light. His high collar concealed half of his face. He wore round black sunglasses, a slightly tall round hat, and black gloves that hid his hands.

The only visible parts of this mysterious man were a small portion of the bridge of his nose and his human ears.

But what stood out the most was the emblem on his chest.

A hazy tree with countless branches and innumerable leaves.

The symbol of the Court of Secrets.

"Regardless of the fame that boy will earn... What do you think about what he said, my friend Zephyr?"

Lam, who sat on the left, looked toward Zephyr in the middle with mockery and provocation.

Hearing the question, Leo—the man dressed entirely in black—also turned toward Zephyr. A smile seemed to appear behind his high collar.

"I’m genuinely curious about your opinion as well."

Faced with the questions from both Lam and Leo, Zephyr continued watching the battle below with complete indifference, as though what was happening was nothing more than children playing.

"My opinion about what? Why don’t we monsters unite and conquer the universe? Why? And for whom?"

Zephyr said mockingly before continuing,

"We monsters are different from you humans. Conquering planets and outer space isn’t nearly as tempting to us as it is to you. The desire for glory and authority isn’t something that belongs to monsters... It belongs far more to you humans.

We’re not a single race like you are. There isn’t much that truly connects us as monsters other than a few shared traits.

Unlike you humans, you’re almost identical in every aspect, no matter which planet you’re born on. You’re the ones who insist on placing all monsters into the same category.

Humans are exactly like insects. The moment you discover resources, you reproduce at a rate others could only envy. That alone fuels your conquests across the universe.

Meanwhile... Species like mine, or Ricky’s, may only see a single new member born every few years."

Then he smiled confidently. Without even looking at the two beside him, he kept his eyes fixed on Iris.

"Besides... That human boy is right. The only standard in this universe is strength.

And although the last thing monsters lack is powerful individuals... If a battle broke out between the three of us... I’m confident I’d devour both of you together."

Hearing Zephyr’s words, Lam blinked several times before looking at him.

"I know you’re shameless. You’ve admitted before that I’m weaker than you in a direct confrontation. But my friend... This is a whole new level of shamelessness."

Lam raised an eyebrow before pointing toward Leo.

"My friend, don’t let your arrogance blind you. If Leo and I joined forces... We’d definitely crush you!"

"Hahahahaha! You two are really exaggerating. It’s true that you’re strong, my friend Zephyr... But your arrogance has long surpassed your strength."

Leo laughed loudly before waving a hand toward Lam, mocking him mercilessly.

"And there’s no need for you to team up with me against him, my friend Lam. I’m more than enough to chop this multi-legged insect into pieces myself."

Zephyr glanced at both Lam and Leo from the corners of his eyes as though looking at two fools. He clicked his tongue.

"Tsk. Idiots...

Forget this pointless act and tell me...

What brings two Immortals here just to watch a quarrel between two children who are barely at Wis (4)?"

"Hahaha! I personally gave you the boy’s Colosseum participation token. Surely you’re not stingy enough to stop me from witnessing the beginning of the little Fang’s brilliance."

Lam laughed as he waved both hands in front of his face.

"As for me... I’m currently on a joint mission with the Immortal Court to eliminate an Immortal-level Giant nest.

I don’t know whether I’ll return alive or not.

But a few hours ago, I heard that the two of you would be here. So I thought I’d come see you and say goodbye before I leave.

After all... It’s been a very long time since we last met."

Leo spoke with a trace of sadness in his voice.

"Ooooh... That’s bad news, my friend Leo. My condolences in advance."

Lam’s expression turned serious after hearing that. He looked at Leo with a hint of sympathy.

"It’s fine, my friend Lam. It’s just the nature of the job."

Leo waved his hand with a simple, carefree smile.

"The nature of the job, huh...

Did you two really come here just to get together...

Or did you come to study that boy and gather as much information about him as possible after learning who his master is?"

Zephyr mocked them openly.

However... The moment he heard about the Immortal-level Giant nest... His expression turned serious as he frowned.
