Just as Sage doesn’t care what the World Government thinks or what intelligence they might obtain from him.

The Five Elders also don’t care what Sage intends to do with CP9.

He is a Pirate; a Pirate won’t fully utilize the value of the intelligence.

Thus, CP9’s safe presence within the Disaster Pirates is also with the Five Elders’ consent.

But regardless of whether Sage fears them, the Five Elders are unafraid.

Compared to leaked intelligence, they are more interested in the movements of the Disaster Pirates, as well as the arms and resources there.
