The girl nodded excitedly and led Lin Mo to the second floor.

’Looks like she gets a commission not just for sales, but for acquiring good materials, too.’

The guide led Lin Mo to a lounge on the second floor and poured him some tea. A moment later, a middle-aged man with an Appraiser’s badge pinned to his chest walked in.

"Hello, sir. What materials are you looking to sell?"

Lin Mo took out the materials from the Level 6 Hurricane Wolf. The Appraiser before him examined them carefully, tapped them lightly with a tool, and nodded. "These are indeed materials from a Hurricane Wolf. If you’re selling the complete set, we can offer you a price of 1,200 Gold Coins."

"That’s a bit low, isn’t it?"

Lin Mo frowned. "Materials from a Lord Level Demon aren’t exactly common."

"A price of 1,200 Gold Coins is already close to market value. If you’re not satisfied, I can go up to 1,230 Gold Coins at most."

Lin Mo had already inquired about the approximate price of Level 6 Lord Level materials. Generally, they were in the 1,100 to 1,300 range.

’1,230 really wasn’t a low price. Even though it was a large, lavishly decorated shop with excellent service—meaning high operating costs and expensive merchandise—they were still quite generous when it came to acquisitions.’

’He’d just been haggling out of habit. Earning an extra 30 Gold Coins with a single sentence—why wouldn’t he?’

’All in all, the price was definitely acceptable.’

’After all, in a small city like Silver Stream City, there weren’t many places with the resources to purchase materials from a Lord Level Demon.’

’Going to the Association would likely only fetch him around 1,200 Gold Coins. Even if he spent a ton of time running around to other cities and asking at several shops, he’d make at most an extra 10 Gold Coins. It was too much of a hassle and completely unnecessary.’

Lin Mo nodded, accepting the price.

With that, the materials from his trip to the Secret Realm were pretty much taken care of. He had earned a total of 2,205 Gold Coins. Lin Mo’s total assets now exceeded 4,500 Gold Coins—an absolutely massive sum.

But for an Adventurer, money’s greatest value lay in spending it to gain more power.

Lin Mo had currently only consumed the basic Magic Power Reagents for three elements: fire, thunder, and earth. He hadn’t had enough money to buy reagents for the other Attributes before, so now was the time to catch up.

After all, if he didn’t consume the basic Magic Power Reagents, he wouldn’t be able to use any Intermediate ones he might obtain in the future, whether through connections or a stroke of luck.

Excluding the three elemental Magic Power Reagents he had already consumed, the four common Elements remaining were water, light, dark, and wind. He could hold off on the Dark Element for now, as Lin Mo had yet to learn any corresponding Skills.

As for the other three—water, light, and wind—Lin Mo had already learned their corresponding Magic.

When it came to buying Magic Power Reagents, the natural choice was Chacher’s Alchemy Shop. It’s always easier to deal with someone you know.

When he arrived at Chacher’s shop, he was surprised to find that she wasn’t sprawled out on her usual lounge chair. Instead, she was sitting bolt upright, holding several materials in her hands. Next to her were test tubes for Potions, and she seemed to be in the middle of researching something.

She didn’t even look up at the chime of the bell as the door opened. Only when Lin Mo stood right in front of her did she finally glance up, her eyes immediately darting to the space behind him.

"Didn’t I tell you? You’re supposed to bring Little Feney with you."

"It’s all the same. Just pretend I brought her along..."

"The hell it is."

Chacher rolled her eyes. "Out with it. What do you want to buy? I’m very busy right now and have no time for idle chat."
