Adventure: My Skills Evolve Infinitely

A night passed in the blink of an eye.

For Lin Mo, the night had been very fulfilling.

But after that night, Lin Mo felt quite empty.

In any case, thanks to his tireless efforts, Ali’s strength had finally been raised to Level 2.

As for Lin Mo, his [Cultivator Companion] Skill had also gained a fair bit of Skill Level.

The skill’s current progress was now Level 3 (12/40).

And, if all went according to plan, the skill’s Skill Level would continue to increase over the next few days.

Around ten in the morning, Lin Mo finished washing up. He pulled the blanket over the still-sleeping Ali, had something to eat, and left some breakfast in the room before leaving the inn and heading toward the Association.

Today was the day he would be promoted to a Bronze Level Adventurer.

’It’s been over a month since I came to this world.’ After more than a month of adventuring, he had finally completed enough quests to get promoted to a Bronze Level Adventurer. ’It really hasn’t been easy.’

Pushing open the doors to the Adventurer’s Association, he saw Lena working behind her counter, just as always.

Although she was determined to develop other Professions, it seemed she didn’t plan on quitting her job at the Association’s front desk. At most, she would just work a few fewer days a week.

"Mr. Lin Mo, you’re here!"

Lena always greeted Lin Mo with such a radiant smile. She wasn’t really wearing the hat on her head anymore, and her fluffy ears twitched as her tail swayed gently behind her.

She had already logged the three quests he completed into Lin Mo’s record last night, but it had been rather late. Most of the Association staff had already gone home, so he couldn’t get his Bronze Level Adventurer card right away.

Lin Mo handed his Adventurer Identity Card to Lena. The Little Cat Girl nodded, looking very excited herself. "Please wait just a moment, it should be ready soon!"

With that, she scurried off into the back of the Association.

Just as she’d said, he didn’t have to wait long. In a few moments, Lena came jogging back out with a brand-new Identity Card.

She carefully handed the card to Lin Mo. "Here, Mr. Lin Mo. Starting today, you’re a Bronze Level Adventurer!"

Even though it was Lin Mo’s promotion, she seemed even happier than he was.

Unable to resist, Lin Mo rubbed her ears. It wasn’t a sneaky pat this time, and Lena clearly didn’t mind.

"Mr. Lin Mo, that tickles..."

But they were in public, after all. After a few seconds, Lena blushed and dodged away from his mischievous hand.

Lin Mo chuckled, gave a wave, and headed for the second floor of the Association.

The second and third floors of the Association were for selling weapons and equipment, including Alchemy Potions and other adventuring supplies. Lin Mo rarely came up here, so he looked around curiously. The quality was indeed quite good and reliable, but the prices were also significantly higher than at the Dwarf’s smithy—anywhere from 20% to 50% more expensive.

For some wealthier Adventurers with a poor eye for quality, the Association was indeed a good choice.

Speaking of which, Bronze Level Adventurers received a discount when buying things at the Association, but it wasn’t much—only 5%. It was still more expensive than buying outside.

If you were promoted to a Silver Level Adventurer, the discount became 10%. Gold Level was even better, at a full 20%!

Once you reached Gold Level, some of the Association’s items became rather cost-effective.

But for him, that was still a long way off.

Without lingering for long, Lin Mo soon continued upward to the 4th floor.

A staff member from the Adventurer’s Association was guarding the entrance to the 4th floor. After seeing the Identity Card hanging on Lin Mo’s chest, the guard nodded and stepped aside to let him pass.

This was the lounge area provided exclusively for Bronze Level Adventurers and above.

Back when he was still a rookie—though it had only been a little over a month—one of the reasons Lin Mo had been so envious of Bronze Level Adventurers was their access to the Association’s exclusive lounges.

Although this small perk was no longer a big deal to him and he wasn’t nearly as envious as before, Lin Mo still wanted to see it with his own eyes. It might come in handy later.

In the lounge’s main hall, there was a Magic Energy Device. A huge "screen" on it displayed many small squares, some red and some green.

Red meant a room was vacant, while green meant it was occupied.

Because many Adventurers from other places had recently come to Silver Stream City, including quite a few powerful ones, a fair number of the squares were green—about half of them.

Lin Mo selected an empty room. With a tap, the square opened to reveal a key inside.

He took the key, followed the signs, unlocked the door, and pushed it open. Before him was a room of about 80 square meters.

That was definitely not a small space—at least, it was bigger than the vast majority of inn rooms.

The furnishings inside were relatively simple, but the furniture was high quality. Lin Mo sat on the sofa and felt its softness could rival the one at the Feney Family’s home.

Besides the sofa, there was a table, a large bed about two meters long, and two small cabinets on either side of the bed, topped with Magic Energy Lamps.

Nearby was a semi-transparent shelf holding some snacks and pastries, all of which were complimentary.

"This is pretty comfortable..."

Overall, Lin Mo was very satisfied with this lounge room.

If he didn’t have to consider Ali and Lena, he might have just moved in.
