However, just as the Flaming Corpse before him fell, an Ice Arrow suddenly shot toward him, exactly as Lin Mo had predicted!

Lin Mo was ready. He instantly cast [Rock Shield Technique]. This time, he used the Magic Amplification effect from his Secret Silver Gloves, injecting an extra 20% of Magic Power and greatly strengthening the Rock Shield’s defense.

Against the immense power of the Ice Arrow Technique, the Rock Shield shattered as expected, but it managed to absorb even more of the arrow’s force than before.

This was one of the seven skills he had learned at the City Lord’s Mansion. It was an Excellent Level, single-target Fire Element spell, likely on par with the Ice Arrow his opponent was using.

Enhanced by Magic Amplification, the Flaming Arrow burned even hotter as it collided head-on with the Frost Ice Arrow!

Lin Mo already had a 25% Fire Element Affinity, making his Fire Element skills more powerful. Combined with the 20% boost from Magic Amplification, this attack was now on par with a spell from a Level 4 Mage!

And just as he’d thought, the arrows of ice and fire met, canceling each other out and dissipating at almost the same instant.

Lin Mo glanced in the direction the Frost Ice Arrow had come from, but ultimately decided against giving chase.

’The enemy is strong. I can’t guarantee a win. Better not to take unnecessary risks. The battle is in our favor right now, so it’s the enemy who should be getting desperate.’

Sure enough, after Lin Mo returned to the group’s side, the Undead Creatures’ assault became noticeably more frenzied.

Weapon-wielding Skeleton Soldiers joined the fray. These were clearly much stronger than ordinary Skeleton Monsters. While still weaker than a Professional, their strength felt close to that of a sub-adult Mutated Goblin, completely belying their shoddy appearance.

Landon, on the other hand, was doing fine, steadily clearing out monsters. Ali was also under immense pressure, but her position was better. Since she was next to Lin Mo, his return instantly eased her burden.

Feney had cast [Light Aid] several times in addition to her Healing Technique, and her Magic Power was running low.

But she gritted her teeth and pushed on, occasionally even swinging her Secret Silver Staff to whack the Skeleton Soldiers on their skulls.

And what do you know, it was actually working...

Feney’s Magic Staff was embedded with high-quality Light Attribute Magic Stones.

On impact, the faint Light Attribute Magic Power leaking from the Magic Stones was enough to inflict some damage on the Undead Creatures.

Feney cried out in alarm as the Magic Staff in her hand flashed with light.

A beam of Holy Light fell upon the Rotten Corpse attacking Benny. The creature let out a monstrous roar as its body melted away before their very eyes.

Light Attribute Magic Power was already effective against Undead Creatures, but [Purification Technique] was a spell specifically designed to counter such abominations. As a result, a supposedly supportive skill was now demonstrating power that far exceeded a typical attack spell.

The Rotten Corpse that had ambushed Benny was no ordinary monster. Its coloration was much darker than the others, suggesting it was nearly Level 2, yet it had been insta-killed in a single blow.

Benny, still shaken from the close call, quickly offered his thanks before plunging back into the fight.

Lin Mo had barely stopped casting magic with his left hand.

He cast several Ice Crystal Falls in quick succession, each one crushing a swathe of Skeleton Soldiers and Rotten Corpses.

’That Frost Ice Corpse can’t hold back for much longer.’

Lin Mo kept a close watch on his surroundings. And just as he expected, a moment later, a massive ice crystal plummeted from the sky, aimed straight for the group.

Landon spotted the threat instantly as well, casting [Piercing Gale] to shatter the ice crystal.

Lin Mo cast [Rock Shield Technique] with his left hand to block the falling shards, while Landon used [Gentle Breeze Skill] to blow away the rest of the debris.

Its attack thwarted once again and its minions continuously slaughtered, the Frost Ice Corpse finally had no choice but to reveal itself, appearing before the group.

Its entire body was covered in a layer of Ice Armor, revealing only half of a pale face. In its hand, it held a long spear coated in thick, hard frost...

’Gotta say,’ he thought, ’it looks pretty cool.’
