"These are materials from a Crimson Flame Tiger. Is 170 Gold Coins really so expensive?"

Lin Mo argued forcefully, pointing at the Crimson Flame Tiger hide before him.

"Look... the market price for Crimson Flame Tiger materials is only around 160 Gold Coins. If you sell them to me for 170, how am I supposed to make a profit?"

The merchant refused to budge, shaking his head repeatedly.

"Alright, how about this? I’ll take a small loss—165 Gold Coins. The market price is the market price, but it’s not like this stuff is available all the time. You should think it over."

"Fine, fine..."

Hearing this price, the other man found it acceptable. He nodded, counted out 165 Gold Coins, and handed them to Lin Mo.

Lin Mo took the heavy cloth pouch and turned into an alley.

After making sure no one was around, he placed the pouch full of money directly into his Ring of Space.

’This thing is so convenient. It takes up no space and has no weight. It’s a divine artifact, plain and simple.’

Lin Mo wouldn’t trade it, not even for a piece of Epic Equipment.

With the Crimson Flame Tiger materials sold, next up was the Black Water Snake. The two Demons were about equally rare, but this particular Black Water Snake was a slightly higher Level, making its materials a little more valuable.

Lin Mo took the Black Water Snake materials to a familiar place: Dwarf Forge Shop No. 27.

Pushing the door open, he immediately bellowed, "Old man, I’ve got a delivery for you!"

The Adventurers inside glanced at him curiously before returning to their browsing. This was just the unique way the owner and patrons of this Dwarf Forge Shop interacted.

The owner was short-tempered and foul-mouthed, so his customers didn’t put up with it—they just shot insults right back at him.

Still, the overall atmosphere wasn’t actually bad, just a bit crude.

The Dwarf Boss glanced over at him. Though it had been a while, he remembered Lin Mo clearly—he was a rather special customer, after all.

"You haven’t been around for a while. I thought you’d finally gotten yourself killed out there, kid."

"Look who’s talking. If you haven’t kicked the bucket yet, why would I?"

While speaking, Lin Mo carefully placed the Black Water Snake eyes and Snake Gallbladder on the counter.

He didn’t really need to be so careful. These were materials from a Level 4.5 Black Water Snake, after all. Though the Snake Gallbladder and eyes were relatively Fragile items, they wouldn’t break unless someone intentionally poked them with great force.

"Oh?"

The Dwarf Boss’s eyes shot wide open in astonishment. "You killed this thing?"

If he remembered correctly, the last time Lin Mo came to his shop, he looked like he had only recently become a Professional. Even if he was exceptionally talented, he’d be Level Two at most.

’How much time has passed, and he can already kill a Level 4.5 Demon?’

"Who else would have?"

Lin Mo shrugged. There was no real need to hide it.

"Damn, kid. You’re pretty impressive."

The Dwarf Boss’s tone softened noticeably. While he wasn’t the type to curry favor with the powerful, he did rein himself in when faced with a strong warrior and a big client.

"So, how much do you want for them?"

Black Water Snake materials were quality goods, and rare enough that he was naturally going to buy them.

Lin Mo thought for a moment. "How about 400 Gold Coins?"

"Why don’t you just rob me blind?"

The Dwarf Boss instantly leaped up as if someone had stepped on his tail.

"These are materials from a Level 4.5 Demon," Lin Mo emphasized.

"Even so, they’re not worth 400 Gold Coins at all! Three hundred thirty, tops. I won’t pay a penny more."

"How about 350?"

The Dwarf Boss just rolled his eyes.

’Alright,’ Lin Mo thought, ’it seems there’s not much point in haggling with this honest-to-a-fault Dwarf.’

’The price of 330 Gold Coins was about right, maybe even a little on the high side.’

’If he had gone to one of the more crooked shop owners, they would have immediately tried to knock the price down to 300 Gold Coins.’

After closing the deal, Lin Mo didn’t rush to leave. Instead, he asked, "Old man, you got more cash on hand?"

"Why? You have more materials to sell?"

Lin Mo didn’t waste any words, simply pulling out a pair of Ogre teeth.

The Dwarf Boss inspected them carefully, using a measuring tool to compare their sizes. His expression grew grave. "Level 5?"

"That’s right."

Hearing Lin Mo’s answer, he thought in silence for a moment. "How about 480 Gold Coins?"

"Alright. Deal."

The Dwarf Boss’s price was quite fair, so Lin Mo didn’t bother to argue and completed the transaction briskly.

Finally, there were the materials from the Lord Level Demon: the Level 6 Hurricane Wolf.

Demon Materials from a Lord Level Demon were in a completely different price bracket. Lin Mo decided not to sell them at the Dwarf’s small shop; judging from his offer on the Ogre teeth, the Dwarf Boss was probably short on funds.

Instead, he headed to the largest store in the city, Shop No. 11.

Compared to Dwarf Forge Shop No. 27, this place was clearly much more luxurious.

The difference was obvious from the decor alone; the shop was bright and spacious, in a completely different league from the little store he’d just left.

’But the prices, on the other hand, were likely not as attractive...’

’However, Lin Mo was here to sell today, so it didn’t matter to him.’

"Welcome, sir. Is there anything I can help you with?"

A proper shop really was different. The moment he entered, a young woman, a sales guide, proactively approached to greet him.

"I’d like to sell some materials."

"And what Level might they be?" the young woman inquired.

"A Lord Level Demon."

The four words that came from Lin Mo’s mouth made the young woman’s eyes light up instantly.
