Lin Mo had always wanted to evolve this Skill, but single-target Skills like this one were difficult to level up. Moreover, since it was an Excellent Level Skill, he was reluctant to invest Skill Level points into it when fighting high-level Demons, so its progress had been frustratingly slow.

Every so often, he would throw in a [Rapid Charge Fist]. A single punch was enough to splatter a Goblin’s brains.

It wasn’t that he was taking the battle lightly, but simply that these Ordinary Goblins posed no threat to him.

It wasn’t just Lin Mo; the other Adventurers around him felt much the same.

Ali was having a blast, charging into a mob of Goblins with her Sword and slashing wildly.

Thanks to her [Cultivator Companion] link with Lin Mo, Ali was far more than a simple Level 2.5 Warrior. Her Constitution and Agility were also quite high, so neither the Ordinary Goblins nor even the Mutated Goblins could break through her defense.

So, Lin Mo didn’t stop her. He was happy as long as she was having fun.

Feney was as diligent as ever, but with no one injured around them, she could only focus on casting buffs on Lin Mo.

It was worth noting that after reaching Level 2 as a Priest and with her [Light Aid] Skill Level steadily increasing, the attribute bonuses Feney could grant Lin Mo had also grown.

These Attributes might not make a huge difference for someone at Lin Mo’s level, but one had to remember that Feney was only a Level 2 Priest. Imagine what a massive boost this buffing Skill would be for a Level 2 Warrior, Knight, or Assassin.

It would be a total game-changer.

Although the Priest Profession lacked direct combat prowess, their value in Healing and support was immense.

Otherwise, the Profession wouldn’t be even more sought-after than Mages.

The Skill Level for melee Skills didn’t increase as quickly or as visibly as it did for large area-of-effect Magic Skills.

But thanks to the sheer number of Goblins, Lin Mo’s Skill Level was actually progressing quite quickly.

In just a short time, the newly leveled-up [Continuous Thrust] had already gained another 47 Skill Level points.

[Rapid Charge Fist], which he used less often, also leveled up due to its lower Level.

The power of this Skill was not to be underestimated. It could consume additional Qi and Blood to enhance its might, and if enough was spent, it could unleash the power of an Excellence Level Skill.

Furthermore, as a Punching Fist type of move, its execution was incredibly fast, making it easy to catch opponents off guard in close-quarters combat.

If not for the sheer number of Skills in Lin Mo’s arsenal, it would actually be an extremely useful and powerful Skill.

And as an Excellent Level Skill, upon reaching Level 3, it also granted Lin Mo 2 Strength Attribute points.

The clash of weapons and the screams of Goblins gradually died down...

It seemed that after a period of fruitless attacks, whoever was commanding the Goblins had given up on breaking through this area and redeployed their forces elsewhere.

They were heading out to support other, more difficult sectors of the front line.

The front-line command headquarters naturally had contingency plans for such situations. A Scout in charge of relaying intelligence soon contacted them and informed them of an area that needed help.

"You’re saying a large number of Bronze Goblins and Giant Goblins have been spotted on the main front?"

Lin Mo was a little puzzled when he heard this. ’Are the Goblins planning to break through Silver Stream City’s defensive line head-on?’

There was nothing wrong with that strategy, of course, but it meant the enemy was extremely confident in its own strength.

In fact, the main front was under considerable pressure because of this. The line had even been forced back at one point. Fortunately, a scattered stream of Adventurers arriving as reinforcements had allowed them to barely hold back the Goblins’ onslaught.
