Even after the night at the abandoned factory and after rescuing the children, it was remarkably busy.

It's a case of no clapping. It can lead to suspicion. It was even possible that the worst Nicks would be treated as "the murderer of Nargarva, the doctor of the Shinji family". There's no story of the White Mask killing Nargarva, or the White Mask itself at heart blowing itself up and now there's no trace. All I can testify to that is the tentative fellow who said Olivia or Scott. I would be increasingly suspicious if I mentioned the names of the beings dealt with in occult magazines in the first place.

... the moment Nicks returned to "Anemone of the Sea," he was advised by Red with the impetus of rage. And a bullet circumference was started to secure evidence by the Nicks. Once again we briefed the officials of the Adventurer Guild 'Manhunt' on the situation, fished the clinics in the construction abandonment area and the houses where the children were being held, gathered and organized physical evidence, went again to the Adventurer Guild to explain, and from there we inspected the places from which we fought Nargarva...... it had been a week if we noticed.

"Hey, sleepy..."

"Don't sleep!

The moment Nick's lid tried to close, the deer woman at the reception in "Manhunt" raised her anger as she slapped her desk.

This is the meeting room of the Adventurer Guild 'Manhunt'. The hall where the adventurers gathered was filled with wild signs of liquor, but the meeting room behind the reception was quiet and somewhere nervous. It's a different tranquility from the infirmary in the Alliance. Clean, tidy, and the staff's eyes sharp.

"Please... it's time for me to rest..."

"Exactly the limit for me too..."

Nick and Zem, blinded by their eyes, squeal powerlessly.

But the lady at the reception didn't give a shit.

"You're a leader, aren't you? And the clergyman over there is making the most of Nargarva. I'm working on some paperwork that needs to be with the Sun Knights tomorrow morning, and I'll have them hanging out all night. If I don't do it right, I'm gonna wonder if I can even get paid for you!

Always require permission from the Knights of the Sun when paying high prize neck rewards. We have to dive through checks to see if the bounty hunter's work was appropriate by explaining the revelations. Tough checks were expected, especially because the factory had been crushed whole buildings.

"That's busier than last week...... I'm starting to envy the others."

Nick sighs.

The three remaining members were spared from the call on the grounds of injury. In fact, the injury was not completely healed, and the fact that Kizna was pryed into this can lead to trouble. Here Nick and Zem became sacrificial sheep.

"I think it's a lot easier to do this... because that Nargarva kept a diary and a record. Normally, it's not going to be this smooth."

Nargarva had left things as if she had expected herself to die. How did they banish the King's capital, reach the labyrinth city, and what did they gain and do? Thanks to this, I was also able to figure out who Nargava as a stepman kidnapped and what those kids are doing now. I couldn't even find out who the white mask was, but I was still able to get enough of the full story of the case. It's good to say that Zem and Tiana's speculations were mostly consistent.

"But... you guys have a lot of connections to construction abandonment zones. Were they convinced?

"The rule is you don't even let the residents out there on your bounty neck."

"There can't be all these people who can follow the rules with discipline."

"That's right, well..."

"He wasn't just a paperwork, he left a will. Thanks to you, it went smoothly."

Zem replied in Nick's place. The paperwork wasn't the only thing Nargarva left behind. I was thinking to one of my patients, someone I might trust, if I hadn't gone home. such as handing over previously written documents to a trustworthy person and opening up abducted children. Most importantly, the kid's whereabouts saved Nick a lot of trouble because he had found out earlier.

"What happened to the kids?

"I won't let a boulder stay here like this for a week. There's no sign that a guy named White Mask had company, and we all turned him over to his parents. No need to babysit any more."

"... Mr. Nargarva seems to have taken good care of him"

All the kidnapped children were fine. Nargarva had the children under house arrest, but as far as Zem could confirm, they were infected with the disease...... They are also given meals and beds, and even entertainment to kill time, and there is no sign of violence being wielded. Seemed to have gained some credibility.

"The first child who died did have yellow ghost disease..."

"But?"

The receptionist's voice was oddly badly chopped.

"He was originally a bad handicapper and a good sleigh arm. I took the vial from Nargava's pocket to escape. It looks like he kept the blood of a patient with yellow ghost disease, and he accidentally broke it and got sick."

A surprise voice leaked out of Nick and Zem's mouth that

"Didn't Nargarva infect you? He was talking about smelling it with his own mouth, wasn't he?

"... well, I don't know if I can trust one now because it's a child's testimony. Besides, Nargarva's document did say a plan to experiment with children. But the plan ended in an attempt."

"... most of the kids caught were fine, and dead kids were like accidents"

I checked as Nick dared put the situation into words to sort it out.

And Zem spoke of the speculation that emerged from it.

"I tried, but I stopped frightened...?

"Maybe. Or maybe there was something else wrong with the plan. You don't exactly match your behavior with the habit of keeping the paperwork in place."

"That's a contradiction."

Zem had no choice but to sigh.

In fact, both Nick and Zem felt contradictions against Nargarva.

I have the impression of a dead human being, and part of feeling humane.

It looked terrible, but there was also a merciful side.

"It doesn't make sense that the bounty neck that's going to be a pain in the ass for the guild here. It's not uncommon for an idiot to lie and leave and get stuck in the barn here again and again, reflecting that he won't do it again... but this Dr. Nargarva is an extraordinary contradiction. My head's hanging in there."

"I agree."

"Not if I agree with you. I have to make some paperwork and show it to the greats of the Sun Knights, so if you're not convinced, they'll ask you to dig roots and dig leaves and worst of all, you'll have to deal with our greats. Yeah, trouble. Trouble...... Anyway, if we have to tailor it to a convincing sentence, we're gonna get complaints."

"Even if I did, I'd have to believe it because I have my own diary and notebook."

In Nick's words, the woman had a self-derisive grin.

"Regardless of the others and the Knights, I don't believe in human language. The words I spoke in my voice, the words I wrote on paper, they're all lies."

The hand moves the pen busily, while the woman throws up her words and throws them away.

"Both the guild and the Knights, what promises you wrote on paper are 'things have changed' or 'laws have changed', but it's a daily tea meal to be turned into a rebellion. If it's a prize neck, it's a misdemeanor. They're just people who lie like they breathe. So I only believe in action, not words. That's all I don't lie about. So."

"So?"

"If you do, the bounty hunter went to Nargarva looking for a stepping man and helped the four children. That's the result. Don't pile up on what you've done rather than worry about lying words. That's more eloquent than anything else."

The actual contents were a tribute to the Nicks, whilst in a spit-and-drop tone.

Nick asked bewildered.

"... is that what you say in anger?

"I'll tell you. There's too much clutter in the information to put together the text. It won't be over for long until we think about what he did and what happened. I need to narrow down the main points. I'm in trouble."

"Shall we refrain from futile chatter? Okay, okay."

Nick said as he swallowed up the accusation that it wasn't that way that he started chatting.

"Besides... I can't stop telling you what that Nargarva thought and tried to do, assuming he was alive and it's true. It could have been like this at the bounty hunter's minute, you're gonna stop bothering me with things like that. If you want to worry, you can go back to the priest."

To the words, Zem looked strangely moved.

"Aren't you more talented than a cleric?

"I don't like it. There are many troublesome tasks here, but not as much as clerics. No."

"I agree with you. Adventurers and bounty hunters are still better. You can drink easily."

"I will. The trick to doing a bounty hunter for a long time is to take it easy."

"Though, you can't be so easy, can you? We're going to take over the work he left behind."

"The job you left behind?

The receptionist's eyes glowed, but Zem shook her neck sideways, seemingly nothing.

"It's about him being a doctor in a construction abandonment zone. This is what happened, so I'm going to only accept patients whose treatment is halfway through. I asked that person to help me gather evidence with that promise."

"Why don't you just leave me alone? I don't even think it's a golden job. I don't think it's a good idea to be half nice..."

Zem smiled deeply at the woman in the reception with a frightened face.

"It's okay. I have an idea."

"Yeah...... you can do whatever you want. Anyway, I'll have it used for some more paperwork...... hey you!

The reprimand of the lady at the reception flew to Nick.

Seems like Zem was upset while he was talking.

"If we make this paperwork right, we'll pay the prize money. Try harder."

"Ooh..."

It wasn't until the sun began dyeing the sky brightly that the Nicks were freed from the Adventurer Alliance.

At a time when the sun was already rising, they were finally released.

Somewhere in the morning, I guess, the smell of baking bread in the street tickled Nick's nostrils and accidentally bellied.

"I'm sleepy, I'm hungry, and you were scattered..."

"Now I'm finally sorry for your help. Good luck."

Zem smiles tenderly.

Nick secretly respected Zem, who could look like that even though he was badly worn out.

"Mr. Nick."

"What?

"I... am glad to be here"

"Well... if I hadn't come, I wouldn't even know what the reward would have been. Hey, I might have been weirdly suspected. I'm glad I'm not alone. It's good to have company."

"No, I'm not."

"Yeah?"

I laugh when Zem dulls.

Nick, exhausted by his lack of sleep, didn't know why.

"It's about half a lie that adventurers are easier than clerics just now. In a way, there are few obligations to be undertaken, and if you want to make it easier, you can make it easier. But... there's something I can see because I'm in a position like ours. There are people who can help. I think that's honorable, but it's hard at the same time. Because you have to see the human filth that you don't have to look at."

"... bounty hunters in particular. The leader of my old nest didn't like it and didn't stick his neck in the bounty hunter."

"I know, how do you feel about that? But I'm glad to know. Instead, I wish I lived clean and clean in the temple without knowing that..."

"What was going on?

"You were just sturdy (handsome)"

Nick turned true to that outrageous answer, and a wave of laughter came a few seconds later.

"Buha... what the heck, just beautiful sturdy (handsome)! Say it yourself, Sole!?"

"Yeah, I'd say so. Unless you peel off your skin, it's something you have to go out with."

"You're a pretty dependable partner. It's going to attract trouble."

Please help me then.

"You're in good shape."

Instead, let me help you with a little strength. "

The two then turned to the 'Anemone of the Sea' waiting for their companions with a raging laugh.

The light of the morning sun quickly dyes the sky blue.

Summer signs were approaching.
