The labyrinth "Firebird Peak" refers to the mountainous area near the labyrinth city… it is one of the five summits present in the Olympic mountain streak (Applenzan) and at the same time the route to reach its summit.

Flamingo Peak is not covered by trees, but spreads with bare mountain skin full of stones and rocks. You don't get lost first. I can see with my naked eye the peaks to aim for, even a few kilometres away. Also, the difficulty level is roughly the same as that of the wooden martial arts.

However, a labyrinth with a strong personality is compatible. [Survivors] Rather than…, Tiana was realizing that it was different.

"Wind Blade"... Ah, shit! I've been avoided again!

Every demon that appears here is resistant to fire attributes.

It is the lizard that blows the fire, the salamander, who appears in the Lord. The scales are stiff and the momentum of the flames thrown out of their mouths is very strong. But the movement is dull, so if you have the power to stab the stomach for sure, it's fine.

There are also many flame butterflies. It's a horrible insect sprinkling burning scaly powder. However, the body is brittle and therefore easy to defeat. You just have to watch out for accidental strikes. And more typical demons than those two appear in front of the Nicks. It's the same demon as the name of the Labyrinth, the Firebird.

"This guy is fast and aggressive... Be careful when you jump up, they're coming at you from above."

"I know, but my magic is hard to work here...... Ice Shield!

While Tiana stretches her defensive witchcraft, Karan raises her dragonbone sword like a shield. There the flame wrapped around my body and the flamingo hit me. The skies of flamingo birds with bodies similar to eagles are just enough of a threat, and with the addition of flames there, they can be easily killed by humans and others who have no remedy whatsoever.

Tiana's stretched "Ice Shield" had blocked the orbit of the Firebird Assault exactly. But the key defense was one step short. With a spike by a sharp toenail tip, he makes a tall noise, twitches, and cracks miserably.

"Dangerous I!

The moment Tiana is about to be attacked, Karan takes refuge with a dragonbone sword.

Nor can a firebird pierce a karan on a boulder, and he tries to rise again with wings.

Nick moved at that moment.

"Shh!

He jumped lightly as if he were a bird, slitting the elongated neck of a firebird with a dagger.

"Geaaaaa!"

The flamingo falls to the ground as he raises his distressed voice.

Karan slashed it up with a dragonbone sword and stabbed it.

"Yata!

"Hmm... I knew flying demons would be troublesome"

Nick blurred as he wet his forehead sweat.

"That's not all! Ah already...... The magic of fire is too strong here for my magic to work at all!

"Well, that's the kind of labyrinth."

Flamingo Peak is a complete dormant volcano and no eruption is supposed to occur, but the magic of the attributes of fire is abundant there. Tiana struggled the hardest because it is not as strong as the junction used previously by Nick/Tiana, but the effects of ice and water magic are weakened by some percent.

"It hurts that Ice Shield can't get through... Defensive magic is the most effective of earthly attributes after all."

"There's no one at our party who can use dirt attributes."

Zem squeaks in Tiana's stupidity.

"Well don't rot like that. There's a labyrinth where you can work like a brake ice hole."

"I know that!

"To?"

"Good? A magician has to deal with an ad hoc situation even in these situations. There's so much more we can do than people, we have to think about things more than people. That's what it is."

With that said, Tiana sat on a nearby rock and poured water from the water bottle.

"Uh, I'll come back to life -... If it weren't for Zem's Thermal Insulation, it would have been difficult to attack."

"I'm not bragging, but I think I am. It's reckless to go in without heat control."

Zem nodded smugly.

"Uh, it's true. This time it's quite a journey."

I agree with Nick smiling bitterly. The four people who saw it stare at Nick in surprise.

"Did you come here with no heat protection? You still have 40 degrees Celsius, don't you?

"I didn't do anything. I just couldn't rely on magic, and I didn't use magic props that much."

"So, what's the matter?

"Wearing a white cloth blocking the sun, I slowly proceeded as I got used to my body"

"Ugh..."

"I had a temporarily cooling talisman or something, but you didn't have the magic equipment to keep the temperature down all the time... that was tight"

Nick shrugged in a voice like he chewed up a bitter bug.

"That's a good offense..."

"I didn't have a hard time defeating my enemies. There are only enemies that can be defeated by physical attacks."

"But some demons are flying in the sky, right?

"There were bow masters, and Katana masters."

"Wasn't the bow Katana, anyway, a song knife with both hands? I don't think it was a flying tool."

"Yes, but there's plenty of time on the counter, too, to be good at it. Once the conditions are in place, the slaughter will arrive up to about ten meters"

"... not magic or anything, but slaughter with a sword, right? That, people?

"Sort of."

"Extreme martial arts can bring magic to an attack. Probably."

"Huh?"

To Kizna's words, Nick made a strange voice.

"No, no one could use magic, could they?

"I don't even know if it can be called magic. However, they rarely wake up to such abilities before they've developed their skills."

"Apparently? That's ambiguous."

"Martial artists had a lot of secrecy... and when they knew they could trace the sword moves of others, many refused to understand."

"You hate that."

"But surely some have awakened to the treatment of magic before the superb martial arts. There's got to be a whole different approach to magic."

"I don't care... ah"

Nick's faint expression solidified.

"Did you notice?"

"That's exactly what Kimen Ko (Stepping) is all about. But this is magic that manipulates your body. When it can be applied to weapons and flying tools..."

"It would not have to be exactly the same. We need to use basic magic that alone is useless to the extreme."

Nick thought intriguingly when he heard Kizna's words, but quickly turned into a sinister look.

"What's the matter?

"... I tried to check, but it's hard"

Everyone looked convinced. How Nick left the ancient nest party [Martial Arts Hundreds] is never a good aftertaste.

"Let's just take a break. Let's switch bodies and heads. The departure is in an hour. What do you say?"

While they all nodded, they questioned the length of an hour.

Tiana left the question open.

"Not a long time?

"Because the altitude is getting higher... Good enough to put a break in every single fight. The air will fade, and your health will soon drain."

Flamingo Peak is the least challenging of the Olympic mountains, but the second highest altitude. Working closely without haste was considered the trick of the offense.

"You don't seem tired for that... ah"

"Yeah?"

"You're not only using Zem's Healthy Legs, you're also using Lightweight."

"Oh, did you find out? Well, only when it's a tight slope."

"Good Nah"

Karan looks at Nick with envy.

"Want to tell me? Well, it takes a while to remember that I'm not only human, but I also have to train myself in magic..."

"I was just thinking about that, too, and I'm going to stop. It's not my hobby."

"It's a hobby issue."

"That's right. I don't mean to be a pain in the ass, but I have a direction that suits me. So..."

"So?"

When Nick asked her back, Tiana shrugged her shoulder.

"I regret it here, but I left it up to you to be active. I'll get it back next time."

"I'll take care of it once in a while."

Nick nodded bitterly.
