The Reds run down a gentle downhill that leads to the basement.

It was a spiral passage that continued deep underground.

"If you go around like this, you're gonna get tired of it."

"It's pretty much down to the basement, but you still can't get there?

Stupid to Ellios with Irene beside him.

It's been long enough since I ran through the entrance to the big lighthouse, but I can't see the bottom this way.

"I hear it's deep underground... but I don't even know."

"Fair enough. Gerthardt's still out there."

In advance, Redo had heard from Gerthardt that he was a non-combat personnel and could not provide directions or anything.

But Redo still didn't mind. mechanisms and relics in unknown ruins. Redo also has some knowledge of them, but that's only because he went through other ruins diving, and he doesn't have the right knowledge with him.

But Gerthardt has more knowledge of them than Ledo and knows how to deal with them correctly. That alone was gratifying to Redo.

While doing so, the Reds reached the end of the aisle.

"This is... awesome"

What was in front of me was a huge door. The door is made of thin, circular plates of different sizes overlapping multiple times, and at first glance it doesn't look like a door.

"It's open!

Each of those plates slides as they rotate with Irene's voice and are stored towards the wall.

When I realized it, the door disappeared and the road to the back was open.

"Ho, this is proof that the mechanism is starting to move."

"Let's go. The other doors will be open. It's a speed battle from here."

Run Ledo ahead. Irene beside it, Gerthardt behind it, and Ellios in his lord.

At the end of the door was so vast a space that Redo forgot for a moment that this place was underground. The space is overall bright due to the pale emission of walls, ceilings and floors.

And as disgusting as it was, the air was beautiful and odorless.

Besides, Redo felt intensely uncomfortable. It's odd that it's supposed to be such an enclosed space in the basement, but it doesn't smell or anything.

The more odorless and clean the ruins - Ledo knew in experience that it was Suke (...).

Its vast space was turbulent with columns as thick as the large lighthouse above it, connecting the floor to the ceiling.

There was a huge lake at the centre of the space, above which there was a ring-shaped structure floating. In the inner part of the ring there was a building that became a smaller circle, which followed many times, with a tower standing in the center.

"Probably... I think there's a central control room in that tower, Ledo, or what do you think?

"I'd say the central control room. Probably. Either way, it would be the temple floating in that lake"

"Well, let's go!

Everyone nods at Irene's words and runs to the lake.

The floor is smooth and scratch-free. By the way, there was a ditch dug, and the pale light regularly crossed that ditch.

If we looked down at this space from the top, its grooves were running across the space as if it were a circuit. And the circuit is aggregated to the central tower.

The light ran from the outside of the space towards the center of the complex and intrusive circuit, sucked into the central tower. Whether you think it's fantastic or creepy will depend on the beholder.

But the Reds didn't have time to feel that way.

"Mr. Redo! Something's coming from the right!

When Elios saw something, he issued a sharp warning.

If you take a good look at the huge pillar in the front right of the Reds, there was enough hole at the bottom to allow one person to pass through, from which a lot and something emerged.

"... what is that"

Appearing ahead of Irene's gaze on her unpleasant face was, in short, a lizard. Blue scale with an elongated reptile-like face. There are sharp nails growing on the limbs, followed by thin, long tails behind them.

It's about the size of a person, and the shape is closer to the human form than a regular lizard though. Ledo felt his unnaturalness as an organism, as it seemed to be forced to move on all fours. It's not like demons either... I'm under the impression it's close to the Demons.

"That's [quite a loss]. You look disgusting... I don't feel well."

Gerthardt is rare and I told him to throw it away.

"Shit, you're coming this way no matter what you think. Ellios, Irene, no spare time. I'll do the avant-garde. You guys are support, follow me!

So he gives instructions, and Redo walks to the lizard herd. I can't afford to dodge and detour here.

"I'm coming, Ellios! Have some tea, Gerthardt!

"Ho, now I'm telling you"

Follow Ledo as Irene gives him a confident look.

"I'll take one shot first"

Elios switched the crossbow arrow on his left hand to a short arrow with a blue twist, aiming slightly diagonally upward. The mechanism of the crossbow trigger and the magazine was connected to the finger, and the bullet could be switched only by the left hand, so that the trigger could be pulled. Ellios put a spear [crossing haulah] on his right hand and fired a crossbow.

Short arrows were ejected along with the trembling sound of the strings. It passes directly over Redo and lands in the middle of a crowd of lizards. At the same time, the floor froze and the lizards screamed as the small ice wind blew around them.

Elios unleashed a short arrow named Icebolt, which turned the demon stone into a cold magic trick for Irene beforehand. Cold magic with the landing was activated, and although it is inferior in power and scope to the original magic, even the unwitting Ellios can use cold magic simultaneously.

More importantly, for Ellios, who watched Irene's magic bow from an early age, the process of releasing arrows and activating witchcraft was easy to tame.

Ledo slashes into a herd of lizards whose legs have stopped by Ellios' ice bolts.

He slashed the neck of the lizard at the forefront with a red song sword and pierced the blue dagger to the lizard's head, whose lower body was frozen and unable to move.

Cut off the lizards' heads with a small swinging song sword [Amarda's Missing Moon] in their right hand as Irene does not stop and step beside it.

Some lizards are shallow and live with some wounds, but there is no problem. The backpacking Elios is a cross spear, stabbing the todome precisely to the leftover Irene slash, and to the lizard at a distance that cannot be reached, he releases just a short arrow made of iron - an iron bolt.

An iron bolt stabs the lizard in the eye trying to assault Redo from behind and stops moving. As Redo turned around, he slammed a horizontal giraffe by a song sword into its lizard's neck.

Ellios switches the magazine, a short arrow filled with gunpowder at the tip and swollen - releasing the blast bolt aiming for the hole in the column where the lizards appeared.

A blast bolt burst into the hole to be sucked, and the flame erupted out of the hole. Some of the columns collapse with the crushing noise, blocking the hole.

"Good!"

"Good for you, Elios! Perfect move. And Irene."

Redo sent a word of praise to Ellios, slashing all the lizards that had already come out.

"Come on, let's go! I don't have time for this! Look, even from there!

As Irene said, lizards continued to emerge from the pillars in the distance. There's no sign of him coming this way, but if he finds out, he'll definitely come this way.

"Ho, superior. But from what I've seen, these guys are still early experiments. Some individuals may be stronger."

"Let's be careful. Let's go!"

The Reds run straight to the lake.

Along the way, lizards appear from the left and right pillars, but ignore them and push on. Those who hinder the way are forced to break through with Ellios' bolt and the slaughter of the Reds.

I don't have time anyway. And Redo realized that it was never their fault that the space was getting louder and louder.

All over the space, we were beginning to hear combat noises other than ourselves.

"Hurry up! Perhaps the others are already here!

The Reds, who broke through the last group of lizards, reached the shore of the lake. A pier-like passage a little further away leads to the outermost roundabout building, but when viewed nearby, it was crimped with its immensity.

It stands in front of the Reds as if it were a giant wall.

But only Gerthardt peered into the lake of colour, close to unlimited transparency, rather than a temple like its walls.

"Ho... this again..."

Noticing Gerthardt's voice, Redo also peered into the lake.

"... you're lying"

In the lake. At the end of that clear liquid - a giant (...) large (...) castle (...) sank.

It may not be a castle to be exact, but it only looked like a castle to Redo.

That huge building, visible above the lake, was only a fraction of the whole thing.

"This is... [Ugadar, Temple of the Underworld Sea]"

"Ho, this is going to be difficult again"

"... the time is three and a half hours away. I wonder if we'll make it."

"We just have to fit in between. Let's hurry."

The Reds ran to the pier.
