Chapter 109: The Road Home Became a Death Trap!
When Luke returned back to the Inn, he found that Aurielle and the others had already returned. But he felt the atmosphere was something off.
’Why does everyone seem angry?’ This thought suddenly came into his mind after noticing that many knights, even Kai, had faces filled with anger.
’Did something happen with Aurielle and the others??’ A bad premonition rose into his heart, so with hurried footsteps and a worried expression, he made his way toward the upper floor.

But seeing her safe, a relief washed over his heart.
After that, Luke walked over to her, wrapped her in a gentle hug, and planted a few kisses on her cheek before asking, "Honey, what’s wrong?"
Aurielle, who had been lost in thought over the Ashenford attack and was thinking the countermeasures against it, snapped out of her thoughts when she felt Luke’s loving embrace and the gentle kisses on her cheeks.

"His knights are not here." The attendant beside him added, on which he nodded but didn’t dwell on this.

Luke ignored the reaction of the surrounding people and held Aurielle and Vaelira in his hand. Then, with a heavy swing, he flew straight to the sky.
