Seeing this, he thought with a little worried expression, ’I will try to come back fast.’ With that, he gave one last order to all the fortresses.
"Activate the Stationary Mode and prepare for defense!" His voice reached every Blackstone Legion soldier and knight, on which each of them shouted,
"YES MY LORD!"
But the faces of the spies and other traitors turned pale. Still, they didn’t dare to go against the command.
Soon, all ten fortresses separated from their joined formation and made some distance before each of them lowered their body, following that their spider mechanical legs pierced the ground to anchor the fortresses.
The next moment, every fortress expanded, and the previous 10-meter width extended to 20 meters, while all fortress walls became more steel-layered to bear the upcoming onslaught.

Then he reassured them, "Don’t worry about the Viscount, as I am way stronger than him." With that, he stepped forward and took the center seat, which was reserved for the commander.
