Bai Zhi witnessed Wan Qing’s entire transformation firsthand and found the situation both funny and exasperating. She couldn’t believe Wan Qing had been targeting her because of Zelda!
She thought Zelda was going to become Bai Zhi’s Beast Husband, and that’s why she’d acted that way.
