Chapter 82: Visitors from the Main Star
When Lang Qiu and Sang Mo saw what the two were doing, especially with all the strange looks they were getting from people around them, they didn’t go over. Instead, they moved a little further away, pretending they didn’t know them.
As evening fell, they had dinner, took a stroll outside, and then returned to their room.
Compared to their first time, Yue Junxiao was clearly much more adept.
He took the lead without needing Bai Zhi to guide him.
Since Bai Zhi had already been intimate with someone earlier, Yue Junxiao was considerate of her body and kept it to just two quick rounds for the night, not asking for any more.
The next day, the hotel delivered groceries to their room. After Bai Zhi purified them, she and Sang Mo lounged lazily, each on their own reclining chair, while Hu Yan cooked in the open-plan kitchen.
Watching Hu Yan cook was a true feast for the eyes. He had a prominent brow bone that cast a faint shadow over his eyes. His nose was high and straight, and strands of his silver-white hair would drift down to veil his handsome eyes each time he looked down.
Sang Mo’s icy voice cut in from the other side. "Better wipe up that drool."
Bai Zhi subconsciously wiped her mouth, only to find it was perfectly dry. Realizing he was teasing her, she rolled her eyes at Sang Mo and huffed, "You’re the one who’s drooling!"
Hu Yan quickly finished cooking and called out to them, "Stop bickering, you two. Come and eat."
Bai Zhi immediately slid off her recliner, slipped on her shoes, and scampered over.
Hearing the call, Yan Yichen and Yue Junxiao, who had been playing a game in the living room, immediately put it down. Lang Qiu, who was busy carving something, also stopped, and soon everyone was gathered at the dining table.
They stayed at the hotel for two days and one night before heading home.
The reason was that the system had issued a mission, but there was nowhere in the area for Bai Zhi to go on a shopping spree.

Bai Zhi might have felt satisfied, but Yun Xi’s hatred for her had grown bone-deep.

The lead Beastman waited for him to finish before saying in a low voice, "Ling Xiao, stand down."
The Beastman named Ling Xiao respectfully obeyed and stepped back. "Yes."
Before he fell back, however, he shot them another threatening glare, a clear warning for these country bumpkins to get smart and tell them what they wanted to know—and fast.
The lead Beastman’s voice was even. "My apologies. He’s my subordinate and was out of line. I’ll discipline him when we return. I neglected to mention, we are from the Lin Family, the second-largest family on the Main Star. Our patriarch wishes to invite this female to the Main Star. We hope you can be flexible and provide us with her address. Once this is all settled, the Lin Family will see to it that you receive a generous reward."
