Zelda’s eyes widened in shock. "What?! Your spiritual power dropped to A-level?!"
Hu Yan’s spiritual power used to be just shy of SSS-level, and now it was only A-level?!
No wonder Hu Yan was unwilling to go back. A man as proud as him could never endure the strange looks from those people.
Breaking through to higher levels was especially difficult. Back then, Hu Yan had tried to break into SSS-level but always fell just short. To think that after all these years, not only had he not improved, but he had actually fallen to A-level.

Hearing this, Zelda’s expression softened slightly. "Well, I guess your wife-master is barely acceptable, then. At least she knows to buy you Beast Cores to level up."
Hu Yan didn’t explain that he wasn’t using Beast Cores to level up. Although he and Zelda were close, this involved Bai Zhi’s secret, so he simply gave a faint nod.
Zelda took out two SS-level Beast Cores from his storage space and handed them over. "I only brought two Beast Cores with me this time. Take them and use them. I don’t need them for now. Once we’re back on the Main Star, I guarantee I’ll pile on enough resources to get you back to SS-level!"

Zelda immediately left, closing the door behind him for Hu Yan.

Zelda walked straight up to Bai Zhi.
Seeing his solemn expression, Bai Zhi instinctively took a step back, her guard up. Even Lang Qiu sensed something was off and moved to stand in front of her, ready to attack.
But when Zelda reached her, he spoke with the utmost sincerity, "Thank you for taking care of Hu Yan all these years. Don’t worry, I promise you’ll be able to enjoy your outing without being harassed by them."
Bai Zhi was completely baffled. "???"
’I abused Hu Yan, and Zelda was clearly furious just a moment ago. How could a single trip upstairs change him so much??’

However, without the owner’s permission, they were stopped outside.
To show respect, they didn’t force their way in, but instead waited for the gate guard to request permission from the owner.
