Chapter 2343 - 595: Meazza Strikes Oil
"You guys should prepare to head back to the Netherlands."
Huang Kaiwen said with a smile, turning to get in the car.
After the royal banquet, the entire Netherlands team followed Huang Kaiwen to the Vatican.
The Pope specifically praised them, so the Netherlands team had to make an appearance.
Huang Kaiwen donated 10 million euros to the Vatican on behalf of the Netherlands team and coaching staff, ensuring the Pope’s support wasn’t for nothing.
Next on the agenda was the Yellow Ball King’s Olympics.
However, there was still nearly a month before the Olympics opened, plenty of time.
The early trip to London was mainly to let the horse acclimate to the venue.
The group from the Netherlands team watched as Huang Kaiwen’s car drove away.
Luke De Jong exclaimed, "The coach meeting the Pope and not being surprised, it felt like, it felt like..."

"Equal status?"
Van Bommel asked.
"Right!"
Luke De Jong nodded vigorously.
This European Cup had made him an instant loyal fan of Huang Kaiwen.
Even though he hadn’t seen Huang Kaiwen play.
But does anyone need to question Huang Kaiwen’s ability on the field?
The key was the charismatic personality Huang Kaiwen displayed.
Luke De Jong never imagined the Netherlands team would get this much support.
These past few days felt like a dream.
Huang Kaiwen’s gestures of gratitude, royal honors, championship bonuses, and sponsorship splits.
Being received by the Pope and even shaking hands.
This was something he could brag about for a lifetime!
Compared to everything else, the Deloitte Cup championship seemed like the least significant, yet it was something many players could only dream of achieving.
They had gained so much!
"Let’s go take a look around Rome; our flight back to the Netherlands is this afternoon."
Sneijder said.
The group was also ready to tour Rome.
Stekelenburg, feeling a bit self-conscious under his teammates’ gaze, said, "Besides playing, I haven’t really traveled much, so don’t expect me to be your guide."
"No worries, my Italian’s pretty good."
Van Persie said.
The group was about to leave.
Two reporters approached, holding out recording devices, asking, "Corriere dello Sport, can we interview you?"
The players discussed it briefly and decided to accept the interview.
They talked about some funny stories from the European Cup, and the Dutch players mostly talked about Huang Kaiwen.
The reporter asked, "How many medals do you think Kevin will win this time?"
"Five gold medals!"
Van Persie said directly.
Kuyt, who was itching to answer, was just a step behind.
"Do many people in the Netherlands support Kevin?"
The reporter aimed the recording device at Kuyt.
Kuyt said, "There were already many fans of the coach in the Netherlands, and now there are even more..."
Before he could finish, Van Persie interjected, "If you don’t support Kevin, you’re not Dutch!"
Kuyt’s eye twitched.
"When you were at Real Madrid, did Kevin show any other talents?"
The reporter looked at Robben.
"Yes, I played tennis with Kevin!"
Robben said with a smile.
Van Persie added, "Kevin totally wiped the floor with him."
"You bastard..."
"You’re asking for it..."
Then chaos ensued.
The reporter excitedly told the cameraman, "Quick, film it, quick, the Netherlands team is having a dispute in St. Peter’s Square!!!"
Internal conflicts in the Netherlands team aren’t news.
It’s news when the Netherlands team doesn’t have internal conflicts.
But to have one right after parting with Huang Kaiwen was valuable news.
The reporter squinted, imagining how to write the story.
Writing this piece well could easily lead to promotions and raises.
"Corriere dello Sport" and "Turin Sport Report" are owned by the Fininvest Group!
Despite the poor Italian economy.
The ones expected to make money still do.
In recent years, Italian industries have continuously devalued, with Huang Kaiwen and Barbara on a buying spree.
Is the Agnelli Family the de facto rulers of Italy?
That’s history, now!
From Milan to the Vatican to Sicily, everything now has the Huang name.
Someday, when Sao Paulo closes to elect a new Pope, they might have to ask the Yellow Ball King before ringing the bells.
That’s why Agnelli grudgingly agreed to Huang Kaiwen’s new Serie A plan.
He could see the benefits.
But approaching Huang Kaiwen left a sour taste in his mouth.
On the way to the airport.
Gagliani whispered to Huang Kaiwen, "This time we’ll have the most powerful medical team providing logistical support for you."
"No need to say more, I trust your work."
Huang Kaiwen said with a smile.
Gagliani forced a smile and suddenly said, "By the way, the international ownership swap is about to be finalized."
"How much?"
Huang Kaiwen asked.
"600 million euros for seventy-five percent of the shares."
Gagliani said.
Huang Kaiwen nodded, the White Turban has deep pockets.
Even though the current Serie A situation is decent, Inter Milan’s situation isn’t so good.
Gagliani said with a smile, "The City Hall is giving almost a green light—it looks like they’re planning to rake in from the Middle Easterners."
"Indeed!"
Huang Kaiwen laughed along.
Despite what Milan City Hall says about supporting stadium construction.
Milan’s background is too strong, they’ve already lost a revenue stream.
Now that Inter Milan has a big shot owner, dreaming of building their own stadium without a big payout? No way.
And it’s not like the big shot owner lacks the money.
Mainly it’s about FFP.
Huang Kaiwen figured the big shot and the City Hall would develop a project together, Milan City Hall would sell land at a high price, and using this money to join shares would bring in quite a return.
That way, the big shot pays a protection fee, and Inter Milan isn’t affected by FFP.
Manchester City and PSG have done quite a bit of similar operations; simply put, they use off-field income to ensure the team’s revenue.
Compared to PSG, Manchester City’s approach is more intense.
Because their business development is really aggressive, the revenue from the Chinese market isn’t high, and they never forget to recognize their Chinese fans during holiday seasons, making it natural for them to gain fans.
