Chapter 2169 - 558: The Championship Battle
Old Maldini smiled and shook his head.
Huang Kaiwen is Huang Kaiwen.
Neither did he falsely praise his tactical ability, nor did he fail to give him enough face from other aspects.
Cesare Maldini felt that even if Huang Kaiwen didn’t play football and went into politics, he might be quite skilled at it.
"Tell us how you feel about thrashing Chelsea today, Kevin."
A reporter with a London accent asked.
Huang Kaiwen shook his head and said, "Seeing Stamford Bridge silent doesn’t feel good, but this is the professional conduct of a player. I have nothing to say. Previously, I represented Chelsea and won against Real Madrid and Milan, now I’m with Milan and won against Real Madrid and Chelsea, is there anything wrong with that?"
"Do you think England will be the victor in the European Cup?"
The reporter pressed further.
Huang Kaiwen:...
This question is not easy to answer.
Even though England under Capello was doing well, the England national team’s shortcomings were still quite obvious.
A team without wingers can’t go far. Although later England had a lot of talents, it was partly because Saka and a bunch of wingers emerged.
Cesare Maldini said, "Alright, today’s press conference ends here."
He got up and pulled Huang Kaiwen away.
Huang Kaiwen not answering the question made the reporters a bit disappointed.
But it didn’t stop them from writing news.
After Huang Kaiwen returned to the locker room and changed clothes, he called William.
Milan’s schedule isn’t very urgent. If it weren’t for another Milan Derby, one could say only the UEFA Champions League final was worth paying attention to next.
So after the match, the whole Milan team wouldn’t return immediately either.
Staying in London to relax, also letting the players unwind a bit.
Huang Kaiwen called a car and headed to Kensington Palace, which wasn’t far from his home in London.
Though William’s residence is called an apartment, it covers a large area and has quite a lot of rooms.
Upon arrival, the butler led Huang Kaiwen upstairs.
William saw Huang Kaiwen and enthusiastically opened his arms and said, "Look who’s here, our King of London has arrived."
"I’m drenched in sweat."
Huang Kaiwen exaggeratedly stepped back and said.
William immediately said, half laughing and half crying, "I don’t mind."
"Maybe I’m just polite."
Huang Kaiwen shrugged and said.
"I really can’t out-talk you, but I trust you’ll be happy to persuade Mr. Collins in person."
William pulled Huang Kaiwen by the arm and said.
"Really? If he’s here, I’m running."
Huang Kaiwen said cautiously.
"Of course not, but I do have other guests." William laughed and said.
"Then I can wait, I certainly don’t want to get involved in any national secrets."
Huang Kaiwen said.
"Come on, they’re all beauties."
The two of them entered the reception room together, and William proactively introduced: "This is the famous designer, Ms. Georgina Chapman."
"Just call me Georgina."
Georgina Chapman smiled as she extended her hand.
Her name is the same as Ronaldo’s later girlfriend.
But she matched Huang Kaiwen’s aesthetic quite well, yet she’s quite a big trouble, because her husband is named Weinstein!
Huang Kaiwen politely shook her hand, pretending not to notice the oddity in the palm.
"This is Gilly Hazel, you should be quite familiar with her; she’s the ninth wonder of the world."
William introduced.
"Hi, Gilly."
Huang Kaiwen smiled and greeted.
Back then, Joe Cole was so mesmerized by her that it was the Yellow Ball King who convinced Cole to give up the thought.
Seeing her in person, she’s indeed impressive.
Especially some advantages in certain areas are very obvious.
"There’s no need for me to introduce, right? London’s most famous athlete, Kevin."
William said, "I didn’t expect them to come over. We customized some clothes, and Gilly is the spokesperson for their brand."
Huang Kaiwen nodded.
That must be it; for a date, it wouldn’t be here in Kensington.
And certainly wouldn’t call the Yellow Ball King.
Yellow Ball King hasn’t acquainted himself enough to host parties together.
Georgina Chapman nodded and handed over a business card, saying, "I mainly came to deliver the design drawings. The matter is already concluded. If Kevin is interested in endorsement, feel free to call me."
Huang Kaiwen accepted it with a smile.
Gilly Hazel looked at Huang Kaiwen several times before leaving with Georgina Chapman.
Once the two had walked far, William joked, "They both fancy you, why not find some fun for yourself?"
"You want me to tell ’The Sun’ your words?" Huang Kaiwen raised his middle finger and said, "Both of them are trouble, I don’t want to invite trouble, especially that Georgina."
"Alright, you’re right, but every British man wants to sleep with Gilly Hazel. You missed a great opportunity." William said.
"Including you?"
Huang Kaiwen asked.
William coughed twice and said, "I mainly asked you out for two things today."
"Go ahead."
Huang Kaiwen took a sip of his drink and said.
"The first thing is I want to ask if the project you signed up for can win." William said.
Huang Kaiwen widened his eyes and stared at William, asking, "Do you want to bet on me?"
"Why not? I have quite some expenses, but not many ways to earn money." William lamented, "Even so, the public wants to cut Royal Family expenses. Is it wrong for me to want a dignified life?"
"There’s nothing wrong with it, but I can’t guarantee victory."
Huang Kaiwen said.
He couldn’t possibly promise anyone such a thing, not even Inzaghi.
William stared at Huang Kaiwen for a second, then sighed and said, "Alright, I’ll see what to do."
"And the other thing?"
Huang Kaiwen asked.
William put a disc into the player in front of Huang Kaiwen, and soon Daniel Craig’s face appeared on screen.
