Chapter 2209 - 567: Huang Lang’s Clever Plan Stabilizes the World
Huang Kaiwen said.
"Are we going to do it ourselves?"
Inzaghi asked.
"Of course not, first let’s find some tools to measure the size, go to my study to draft the design, and then we’ll throw it to the repair shop."
Huang Kaiwen said.
"Sounds quite reliable."
Inzaghi said.
Around three in the afternoon, the old butler told Huang Kaiwen they found Sneijder.
This guy seems quite carefree, he’s gone to Verona for a holiday.
Huang Kaiwen dropped the pencil and tools in his hand.
Inzaghi asked, "Where are you going?"
"Got some matters to handle, you should head home first."
Huang Kaiwen said with a smile.
"I want to go with you, you probably plan to sneak off for fun."
Inzaghi held onto Huang Kaiwen’s arm and said.
"Alright, alright, let’s go together then."
Huang Kaiwen said helplessly.
To handle today’s issue, he didn’t even bring his good buddy Ramos, but unexpectedly ended up with Inzaghi as company.
After heading downstairs, Huang Kaiwen grabbed a Mercedes key from the table and tossed it to Inzaghi.
"Am I driving?"
Inzaghi asked with wide eyes.
"Going or not?"
Huang Kaiwen asked back.
"Drive it I’ll do." Inzaghi muttered as he walked towards the garage.
After more than 30 minutes, the two arrived near Milan Cathedral in the city center.
Finding the café name Gagliani had sent him, Huang Kaiwen took Inzaghi inside.
The boss greeted Huang Kaiwen and immediately put up the closed sign.
"Kevin!"
The band-aided van Persie greeted excitedly.
Buccellato quickly pulled van Persie down to sit.
"Kevin, you’re here."
Moratti said with a smile as he stood up.
"Massimo, you’re looking much younger lately."
Huang Kaiwen smiled and hugged Moratti as he spoke.
"I’m almost a pauper now, might just die any day, being younger indeed."
Moratti said self-mockingly.
Huang Kaiwen didn’t respond, sat down, and looked at Gagliani who was pouring him coffee.
Gagliani nodded at Huang Kaiwen.
"Kevin."
Sneijder hesitated, afraid that if he didn’t speak, van Persie would tell on him.
Huang Kaiwen waved his hand, "We’ll talk later, let’s have coffee first. Italian coffee only has half a minute of life, after that time it’s no good."
"You really keep your cool, I wasn’t as steady as you when I was young."
Moratti said with a smile.
Originally, he was quite anxious since Sneijder’s form had recovered, being Inter Milan’s absolute core.
If he fell into scandal chased by the media again, his form would surely be affected.
Yet seeing Huang Kaiwen’s manner, he wasn’t anxious anymore.
Moratti even thought his children couldn’t compare with Huang Kaiwen in all aspects, not just football skills.
"1974, 1978, 2010, the Netherlands team reached the World Cup finals but didn’t win the championship."
Huang Kaiwen tapped his fingers on the table and said slowly, "In 1988, Michels led the Netherlands to win the European Cup, this is the Netherlands’ only international tournament win. You were the most promising group, but didn’t win the championship in 2010."
"It’s Robben’s fault!"
Van Persie said directly.
"Yeah, if that one-on-one had scored we’d have won!"
Sneijder said almost simultaneously.
Then both turned their heads at once, avoiding catching a glimpse of each other.
Huang Kaiwen rolled his eyes internally; they’re quite in tune when shifting blame.
"Wesley, tell me why you hit Robin."
Huang Kaiwen asked.
"He’s so annoying!"
Sneijder said, "Every time he wins a championship he brags about it on TV, previously he left me comments on social media saying his UEFA Champions League wins will soon surpass mine, also said while at Real Madrid, I was on the bench for the championship, the effort akin to a groundskeeper. Yesterday after winning, he cursed me, I couldn’t stand it, so I ambushed him downstairs at his house."
"Nonsense..."
Van Persie yelled.
"Let Wesley finish talking, Robin."
Huang Kaiwen raised his hand to stop him.
Sneijder continued, "I’ve heard him say he hates the sound of wild cats, so I practiced imitating them to lure him down. But I was so mad I set the taser power higher, worried I might truly fry him, so held back from pressing it hard against him."
"Why did you go to Verona?"
Huang Kaiwen asked.
Sneijder said embarrassed, "Later I was scared he might report me to the police, so I drove off, didn’t even know it was Verona I went to."
"Is that how it happened, Robin?"
Huang Kaiwen asked.
"Pretty much, but he didn’t hold back, I dodged quickly, otherwise this guy would’ve swung the taser right into my face."
Van Persie stared at Sneijder as he said.
Huang Kaiwen nodded and reached out to Gagliani.
Gagliani hurriedly handed the negatives to Huang Kaiwen.
Huang Kaiwen shook the brown paper bag in his hand, saying, "Wesley, I’m not bothered about your sentimental issues, but drinking and drugging isn’t a good habit. I thought you’d be wiser now. Yesterday a reporter caught you ambushing Robin."
"Impossible?"
Sneijder instinctively asked.
"Why would it be impossible?" Huang Kaiwen tossed the bag at Sneijder and scolded, "This morning the reporter called Mr. Moratti asking for 500,000 Euros, or they’ll expose your actions from yesterday."
Sneijder looked at Moratti.
Moratti nodded.
Sneijder immediately showed a terrified expression.
Now he’s utterly afraid of being in the papers.
After the divorce, media pressure was immense, coupled with the fact his new wife Yolante really didn’t want to give up her career in Madrid, left him completely without company.
