Chapter 1265 - 48: Joyful Debts (Part 24)
Princess Yinchuan was utterly shocked.
They just found more than ten half-grown boys, the youngest only three years old and the oldest just eleven, who was the Little Princess of the Prince Zhenbei Mansion who had just stepped out.
There are already this many, and at least two more haven’t been found?
One has to say that the Dongxiang Marquis Mansion knows a lot of people, capable of gathering so many children for wedding pranks.
It’s truly lively.
Princess Yinchuan felt this was the Dongxiang Marquis Mansion’s way of showing importance to marrying her, and she was in a great mood.
Su Yang only felt a headache coming.
Revenge.
Absolute revenge.
The room is only so big; he had searched everywhere a person could hide and really couldn’t think where else someone could be hidden.
But having just found Princess Jin Ruo under the bathtub, Su Yang felt his room still had plenty of hiding potential.
It was his wedding night after all.
He didn’t want to spend it searching for people.
Do his parents still want to have grandchildren?
Su Yang protested inwardly, yet he had to keep looking for people.
Every nook and cranny had been searched, yet not a single shadow was seen.
He could feel that besides himself and Princess Yinchuan, there was no other presence in the room.
But Xie Hengyuan and Shangguan Feng couldn’t possibly not be there.
Without those two, the others couldn’t possibly be so well-behaved.
Su Yang was not a patient man, especially after searching the hiding spots repeatedly; his patience wore thin.
He stood in the room looking around, his brows furrowed into a knot.
Suddenly, a slight tapping sound reached his ears.
Su Yang’s lips curled into a smile.
Princess Yinchuan didn’t know what he was smiling at, then saw Su Yang jump out of the window.
Before long, he jumped back through the window, carrying a half-grown boy.
"Let go of me, let go of me!" Shangguan Feng exclaimed anxiously.
"My back itches!"
Su Yang didn’t give him too much trouble; after all, he didn’t do anything wrong, just indulged in the wedding pranks.
But there’s no need to hide on the rooftop for wedding pranks, is there?
Shangguan Feng was in a bit of a sorry state.
His face had several large mosquito bites, along with his hands and back, and he felt itchy all over.
If he hadn’t been caught because of swatting mosquitoes, he wouldn’t have been discovered.
His task was to set off firecrackers.
It was almost the hour for him to set them, but because of a mosquito, he failed. The rest is up to Hengyuan.
"Where’s Yuanyuan?" Su Yang asked.
Shangguan Feng shook his head, "I don’t know."
As he said this, he tried to run out.
But could Su Yang let him run away?
Grabbing Shangguan Feng by the collar, he said, "If you don’t tell the truth, do you want to experience being hung up?"
"Uncle, I really don’t know," Shangguan Feng said with a determined look.
Su Yang absolutely did not believe him, "How could you not know?"
Shangguan Feng and Xie Hengyuan were almost the same age and as close as twins.
It’s unbelievable that Shangguan Feng wouldn’t know where Xie Hengyuan was.
Shangguan Feng knew he couldn’t lie to Su Yang, but he genuinely didn’t know where Hengyuan had gone.
The room was only so big, holding so many people with no space left.
They were older and had to give in to these younger brothers and sisters, and also Princess Jin Ruo, their little aunt just a few months older.
No place to hide, so they could only stay on the rooftop.
However, Xie Hengyuan drank too much water and after lying on the rooftop for half the day, he got the urge to go and came down.
He was so bored up there that he thought Xie Hengyuan would come up to keep him company, but after waiting left and right, no one came up, which made him anxious.
If it weren’t for being at the Dongxiang Marquis Mansion, with its strict guards, he would suspect that something happened to Hengyuan.
That rascal ran to hide elsewhere without notifying him, leaving him alone on the rooftop feeding mosquitoes!
Shangguan Feng was telling the truth, which gave Su Yang an even bigger headache.
It was better if the two were found together; separated like this, who knows where to look.
Shangguan Feng, seeing he had no further business, bowed to Princess Yinchuan and was about to leave.
He had already turned around when Su Yang stopped him, "How many people were hiding together?"
Shangguan Feng shook his head, "I was on the rooftop, I don’t know."
"Anyway, there were quite a few."
"We almost fought over spots to hide."
Su Yang, "..."
Princess Yinchuan, "..."
They nearly fought?!
Just how many people came?!
They were astounded.
Even though there were so many places to hide, there’s no need to fight!
Apparently, he had been too optimistic, as there were probably many more people hidden in the room.
Princess Yinchuan looked at him, "The room has been searched thoroughly, no one else is here."
Su Yang rubbed his temples and said, "They won’t let me off that easily."
"You’re tired, take a rest, I’ll keep looking."
Even if he had to dig three feet into the ground, he would find them.
