Age of Adepts

Chapter 0836 - The Meaning of Life

Garon Arcadas, the killing god of the Orc Goddess line, 7th rank, and one of the subordinate gods under the beast god A**.

Unlike the other gods, the orc god lineage worshipped violence and bloodshed, so they were all extremely adept at fighting. They were simply beasts born for battle, and wherever there was a war, their fierce and brutal forms could be seen on the front lines of it.

It was because of this style that the entire Beast God system was involved in all the wars of the gods for several sentences. And when it comes to battle, they are almost fearless and never fight on their own.

The orc gods were already strong, but they would always fight with their own bodies, and when they encountered the incarnations of the other gods, they were even more invincible. Therefore, the Beastmen divine system was one of the top ranked large divine systems in the world of the gods, and was simply not comparable to those ordinary divine systems.

This time, the Death Witches were ordered to come and destroy the Johnson Position, which was tantamount to slapping the Beastmen Divine Line in the face. Thus, unsurprisingly, this Orc God Line's Killing God made a pink appearance and put up a show of wanting to break into the Johnson's Seat and kill all the witches in one fell swoop.

Step 7!!!

A 7th rank deity was simply too big for a medium-sized throne!

This God of Killing Galleon himself was a magnificent beast that was tens of thousands of meters tall, wearing a bulky and crude black body armor, while the weapon he was using was a huge double-sided axe.

Just as this Killing God Garon was desperately tearing at the bit barrier, trying to force his way into the Johnson's Plane, a huge cold arrow crossed the void and struck his body.

The ice arrow shattered, and the extreme cold freezing gas bursting out of it stained his black body armor blue, condensing into countless glittering frosts.

"Galleon, our battle isn't over yet! Are you that desperate to get away?" Compared to Galleon's great body, the mysterious witch that appeared after was negligibly small. But the powerful sorcery she casually inspired made even the killing god Galleon have to feel icy cold, and it was difficult for his body to move and turn.

Suddenly being attacked, this made Galleon, whose figure was stuck in the bit barrier, appear more and more furious and manic. He roared furiously, "Oedis, you fleeing bastard, if you're capable of fighting with me..."

Ranting was roaring, let this Galleon hard carry the attack of a 7th rank witch to slowly drill into the Johnson's seat, and lend him ten more guts he wouldn't dare to do so.

Thus the Killing God Garon could only draw out his body in resentment and turn to face the terrifying witch that came across the void.

That 7th rank witch named Oedis, also as described by Garron, transformed into a cloud of ice sculptures as soon as he returned to pursue her, shattering in pieces and disappearing. When he reappeared, he was already nearly a hundred miles away.

The Outer Void was so large that it could accommodate these terrifyingly strong people to fight to the death inside.

And that Galleon's original body was tens of thousands of meters tall, taking large steps to run through the void, each step converted into bit space was more than seven or eight miles. So, in between he held his double-sided axe high and roared loudly as he quickly chased after that witch.

The silhouettes of both sides drifted away in the extra-territorial void and quickly disappeared without a trace.

The huge rift that that Garon had torn in the barrier of Johnson's bit began to shrink and heal as the bit's bridging force did its work. The extra-territorial void storm blew through the spatial rift into the interior of the bit plane, bringing a devastating blow to the perimeter of Drywater City.

The Void was not Void!

The extra-domain void looked empty, seemingly devoid of any matter, but had surging and stirring magical energy. Powerful magical energy filled this Extra-Territorial Void, and then, guided by a strange power, it flowed and vibrated freely like a magical tide.

All the matter in the extra-domain void was subject to the rushing of magical energy at all times. Without the existence of the bitter barrier, it would be almost impossible for such a large number of intelligent creatures to be born within the material plane. Even the so-called mountains and rivers, as well as the vast expanse of earth and rock formations, would have to be crushed to pieces by the tides of magical energy, and eventually spread to every corner of the Multiverse.

And it was precisely the existence of the bitter barrier that also allowed the material plane to isolate the energy invasion of the extra-territorial void and have a gentler space for the nurturing of living beings. Otherwise, no living creatures could be born under the day and night invasions of the Void Storm, let alone achieve the diversification of the races of the bit plane.

Therefore, when Galleon tore a rift in the barrier of the bithenge, the Void Energy that poured into the inner part of the bithenge from the rift brought a terrifying disaster to the creatures and the earth around Drywater City.

A terrifying Void Tornado quickly formed around Dried Water City, unceasingly drawing everything above the earth into the energy storm, tearing and strangling it into fine particles, and hurling it thousands of miles away in the ocean.

Under the erosion of the void energy, the already sparse greenery on the earth was fading fast, and all the fragile life was dying one after another under the chaotic magic energy.

The entire land became silent!

Dried Water City, which was right below the spatial rift, had also suffered a pond disaster, becoming the place where the Void Storm had attacked the heaviest. The elemental barrier that enveloped the sky and earth instantly ruptured, leaving the entire Dried Water City exposed to the energy storm.

If it wasn't for the War Witch Tower holding up several small shields in time to protect the city's important facilities, it was feared that with just this, the losses on the part of the Death Witch would reach an alarming level.

But even so, where those magical shields couldn't protect, groups of dead spirits were blown by the raging energy storm, one by one, their bones eroded into flesh and flesh, and were instantly blown into tinsel. Rows and rows of dead spirits fell down, first turning into piles of dead bones, then quickly powdering into ash, curling up all over the sky.

The square where the portal was located also held up a magical shield, finally blocking the raging magical energy.

Grim looked around the circle, filled with shock at the terrifying scene in front of him that seemed like an apocalyptic natural disaster, and the taste in his heart was hard to express.

This was the terrifying damage that a Great Sorcerer level sorcerer could inflict!

Their every move was damaging not only the creatures of the bit plane, but also the bit plane itself.

It was conceivable that even if that 7th level Killing God Galleon had succeeded in forcefully destroying Drywater City through the bit barrier, the damage he had brought to the Johnson Position was definitely not small.

Even if one wasn't careful, the damage he brought to Johnson's Plane would be far greater than the Death Witch!

Now that Galleon had been lured away by that fearsome Witch of the North, the bit war was still going to continue next.

Unless the Death Witch's plans were ruined, or the incoming orc powerhouses suffered a heavy blow, this bit war would never end!

A bit-war always ends with the defeat of one of the sides, and this... is actually the most realistic scene of a bit-war!

Shaking his head and sighing silently as he watched the portal re-stabilize, Grim no longer hesitated and stepped inside the portal....

...................

The other end of the portal was naturally still on top of the huge square in Vilnin.

The witch troops that were returning one after another simply greeted each other and left Vilnin.

This kind of bit war that gathered all the elite warrior forces of the Northland Witches might be new to Grim, but to most of the Northland Witches, it was a perfectly normal occurrence.

Although the Northland Witches still had internal conflicts, it was rare for them to be united in this matter of external expansion. In contrast, the central part of the continent where the witch families were all over the place was too undisciplined, giving people a strange feeling of being scattered.

Grim stepped out of the portal and simply stabilized his mind before returning to normal once again.

To be honest, having just experienced the foul and destructive atmosphere of the Johnson's Position, one foot inside the door and one foot outside the door, he returned to the serene and peaceful Wizard World in the blink of an eye. This huge contrast gave Grim the strange feeling of being trapped in a grotesque dream world himself!

Now he was the head of a rising wizard family in the wizard world, with a bright future ahead of him. In the faraway world of the other dimension, it became a slaughterhouse for the Beastmen God System and the Death Witch's crazy contest. It could be imagined that when the root of decay from the Death Witch's sacrifice completely invaded into the chain of laws of the Johnson Position, it contaminated the consciousness of the Position and corroded the origin of the Position.

At that time, that would be the moment when the entire Johnson's Plane would break and die!

And the process is irreversible and cannot be stopped!

Although Grim didn't have any feelings or ties with the billions of beings of the Johnson's Plane, the thought of an entire plane of beings becoming victims of some powerful people fighting and consuming each other, as he witnessed and watched, made his heart twitch and feel a little dazed.

Slaughtering hundreds or thousands of bit natives, Grim wouldn't have any mental burden or blame himself for it. However, when the number of dead beings rose to billions, even the self-proclaimed iron-hearted Grim couldn't help but feel a little hesitant and uncertain.

Life shouldn't be taken so lightly, nor should it be senselessly consumed!

Respect for life did not mean that he wanted to be a universal pacifist, but merely an attitude and way of thinking in his treatment of the bitworlds.

The Multiverse had given birth to the Multiverse, and the different worlds had given birth to billions of creatures. Only when the multitude of living creatures reached a certain level would the entire world reveal its vitality.

This... was perhaps the main axis of the Multiverse's continued development!

What Grim needed to do, however, was undoubtedly to make his own development path fit with this main axis. Otherwise, he would eventually become one of those spurned by this world.

And while Grim was silently pondering the path he should choose to move forward, a message from a distant place interrupted his thoughts.

Something had happened again at the Flame Throne!
