Age of Adepts

Chapter 0861 - Trading Hall

"Where is this place?" Grim finally managed to ask the question.

"Your Excellency, this is the entrance to the Spiritual Illusion of the Free Wind Wizard Organization, where you can find any resources, information and sorcery knowledge you need!" The beautiful girl smiled delicately and explained for Grim.

"Then why don't you introduce me to the basics of this mental illusion!" Grim was not rude in his command.

He could see clearly that the beautiful maiden in front of him, though lifelike, was not a real existence, but rather a light illusion projection simulated by some kind of sorcery. As to whether there was really a young girl behind the other party manipulating this 'body', or whether it was a wrinkled old sorcerer controlling it all together, Grim had no idea.

So he paid no attention to the young girl's fawning and instead quickly shifted his interest to this bizarre illusion.

"My lord, rest assured that all of your personal information and actions within the spiritual illusion will be strictly protected, and no one other than a handful of organization executives will be able to peek into your data."

"Your current location is the entrance to this spiritual illusion, and before you are seven stone gates that lead to seven different regions. Door number one leads to the Trading Hall, where you are able to buy and sell various resources and magical items, and the resources inside are not limited to the Wizarding World's own locale..."

As the girl's introduction, three strange stone doors suddenly appeared on the stone wall, with numbers representing one, two, and three marked with witch symbols.

"Door number two leads to the Hall of Knowledge, where you will be able to seek out the vast majority of the Wizarding World's witchcraft knowledge and learned subjects..."

"Door number three leads to the quest hall, where you can find a suitable partner to explore the unknown and mysterious world together..."

"Since your first time joining the Winds of Freedom, you only have minimum access privileges, so you can only access these three regions at the moment. As for the other regions, you will need to accumulate contribution points before you can join..."

Possessing the knowledge from his previous life on Earth, it allowed Grim to grasp the functions and uses of this mental illusion almost without any obstacles. Even under Grim's mental consciousness manipulation, his own illusionary form began to undergo strange changes, replicating his true body and face.

However, to conceal his identity, he still condensed a flame mask over his face, obscuring his features.

Let's go to Hall One first, from the abundance of resources there it might be possible to get another glimpse of the power of the Free Wind Organization!

The body made up of Grim's mental consciousness hit the number one stone door and instantly penetrated through it.

Outside the door was a twisting and turning stone corridor, with numerous stone doors opening along the walls, and from time to time, a wizard would emerge from inside the stone door and follow the corridor to a certain place.

Grim scanned the surrounding area, and also reached out to pat the stone wall behind him, which was hard, with a rough and cold surface, giving the impression that it was no different from the one in reality. This also showed how terrifying the sorcerer who had created this spiritual illusion was in terms of illusionary attainments!

"Chip, can you scan and parse everything here?"

"Drops, the main command cannot be completed... This place is protected by the complete rule system, and any malicious probing will touch the power of the corresponding rules..."

The power of rules!

Grim chanted, finally giving up on his speculation and also following the direction of the corridor into the distance.

After about half a mile, he arrived at the exit of the corridor.

As soon as I stepped out of the corridor, a huge underground stone hall appeared in front of my eyes, with a thick stone pillar standing everywhere, and near each pillar, there were some sorcerers pressing their hands on it as if they were communicating with each other.

The entire hall was silent, all the witches were busy with their own business, there wasn't the lively and noisy scene of the human fair at all.

Grim hesitated for a moment, strode to a stone pillar, and as soon as he placed his hand on it, a line of rapidly scrolling information was projected in his mind.

Wanted: dragon healing essence, price negotiable....

For sale: the Eye of the Black Prince, with the ability to absorb spirits, 2000 magic crystals....

For sale: immortal wisdom potion slate (broken), 17,000 magic crystals....

For sale: azure magic thread, excellent quality, 9000 magic crystals.......

Wanted: immortal dead, 3rd order, price negotiable....

Exchange: 100 grams of dragon scale flowers, 300 kilograms of bloodstone in exchange....

For sale: 50 grams of source ore, 1.5 million magic crystals....

........

........

Lines and columns of densely packed requests, sales, and exchanges rolled through Grim's mind, most of which he had never even heard of the names of the items, let alone know their effects and value.

Compared to the one goblin shop opened by Goblin Cappy, it was the items and resources here that were truly suitable for a high level wizard.

Grim searched briefly and even found the name of Flame Essence in the item list.

Wanted: 5 Essence of Flame, can be traded for Chaos Gems or Magic Crystals....

What is the Chaos Gem?

Grim is confused, and the chip has quickly retrieved the information about the Chaos Gem.

The Chaos Gem, a magical gemstone specially produced in the Outer Void, was imbued with a hint of chaos power. If it was used on an item, there was a certain chance that it would change the item's magical properties. Of course, there was an even greater chance that the item would be directly damaged.

A strange item with a strange use!

Grim did still have some of the Flame Essence on hand, but the number was only 3, not enough to satisfy the basic needs of this request for information. Moreover, that Chaos Gem was of no use to Grim.

Thus, Grim gave up on this transaction after a simple browse.

Grim pondered over the fact that for some time now, both the Goblin Plane and the Lance Plane had been steadily providing the Crimson Family with a large amount of resources, and had become the stepping stone for the Crimson Family's rise. And what the Crimson Family currently lacked most was not magic crystals, but a special alloy called Quillus.

This metal called Quillus alloy was also the only magical alloy suitable for building space furnaces and magical melting furnaces. The other magical alloys might have better physical or elemental resistance than Quillus Alloy, but they could not withstand the invasion of the violent void energy.

Some time ago, after creating a small magical melting furnace for Fractured Brain Gru, the remaining Quillus alloy in Grim's hands was only enough to create a space furnace.

Therefore, these days, Grim had been urging Goblin Cappy to gather and explore information related to Quillas Alloy in the Wizard World. Unfortunately, nothing was found!

Previously, Grim was still secretly complaining that Cappy wasn't working hard enough. Now, I'm afraid it wasn't the little goblin's fault, but rather that this Quillus Alloy was simply a high level resource that wasn't accessible to Kabi's level at all.

Taking this opportunity, Grim also began to silently retrieve information about the items related to Queras Alloy.

As expected, three transaction messages instantly appeared before his eyes.

Wanted: 1,000 kilograms of Quillas Alloy, price negotiable....

Exchange: 300 tons of metal ore from Cuiras in exchange for a cold source material....

Exchange: 3,000 kilograms of Quillas Alloy in exchange for a Wraith Life Box....

The muscles on Grim's face were slightly twitching as he looked at the three messages that appeared before him.

The first message, like his own, was asking for Quillas alloy and could be ignored.

The remaining two, it was clear to see that they had a vein of Quillas metal on hand, but the items they wanted to exchange made Grim's scalp tingle at the sight of them.

Cold Ice Source Quality... Any item that was embellished with the word Source Quality would instantly skyrocket in price by a hundred times.

Source prime was actually a material manifestation of rule power.

In the Bit World, rules were undoubtedly the most powerful kind of power. However, this kind of power was invisible and could not be studied or learned, so one could only rely on one's mastery of sorcery to slowly comprehend it.

And in certain special environments or occasions, the power of the rules might combine with certain substances of the Bitworld, thus giving birth to valuable source material items.

The cold ice source substance in the second trade message was definitely a mysterious substance that appeared after the coalescence and manifestation of the cold ice rule in the bitworld. Those sorcerers who were eager to comprehend the Laws of Cold Ice would undoubtedly take themselves a step further if they could obtain the Cold Ice Source Material.

However, a cold ice source substance such as this was definitely a solid 4th stage wonder that would be impossible for a Grim 3rd stage witch to come into contact with.

And the Witch Life Box in the third trade information was also a 4th rank wonder.

Possessing a Wraith Life Box was also the same as controlling a 4th rank Wraith that bowed down, and from this point of view, the price of the Quillus Alloy could be imagined!

Grim sighed and gave up on acquiring the Quillas Alloy here.

It seemed that in order to acquire Quillas Alloy in large quantities, one would need to go to the Other Side to find information on the corresponding ore veins. Once a Quillas metal vein was controlled in one's hands, the vast metal resources of the Goblin Plane would instantly be revived.

Only by having a large number of Quillas alloys and creating a large enough and large enough magical melting furnace, could that one drawing of a sky cruiser, goblin puppet dragon, space ripper and thunder titan and other metal creations be brought to life.

And until then, Grim could only *muse* about the power of these metal creations in his mind!

After briefly understanding the function of the trading hall, Grim tapped his body, disconnecting his mental consciousness and this body's telepresence.

In the next second, Grim opened his eyes and his consciousness had returned once again within that chamber of the Flame Throne Witch Tower.

Grim closed his eyes and sensed it, and did not notice anything wrong.

The results of the chip's self-test also confirmed this.

It seemed that that spiritual illusion was also equivalent to an important place where high-ranking witches met and exchanged ideas. The fact that that Free Wind Organization was able to gather so many high-ranking sorcerers together was also a clear indication of the strength of its underpinnings and the strength of its background.

I really don't know how many 4th rank old monsters were silently standing behind this Free Wind Organization....

Grim thought grudgingly.
