Age of Adepts

Chapter 0887 - Battle of the Mine Pit

Three days later.

In an exquisite and gorgeous bedroom, a charming and beautiful scene was taking place.

A man and a woman's two bare bodies were tightly entwined together, fighting soundly with all their strength....

"So good, so good...honey...you're the best!"

Fraina's red-crossed white body was covered with beads of sweat, crying out that even her voice was a little hoarse. The fact that you can't find a better way to get the most out of your money is that you can't afford to lose your money.

The drastic changes brought about by the sudden expansion of her body simply 'tortured' Frenna to death, and the extreme heat that penetrated to her heart also brought her a completely different feeling. If she didn't have the support of a 2nd rank witch, if she were any other witch or apprentice, she wouldn't have been able to withstand the 'torture' of the legendary fire witch Grim....

However, as the two were in the midst of their excitement, a red mane penetrated into the chamber, pouncing on the outer edge of the red boundary that Grim held up and couldn't stop spinning.

"It's... it's a message from my partner... let me hear it..." hissed an almost double-eyed Frenna intermittently.

As Grim opened the red boundary a crack, the red mane instantly pounced in front of Frenna before turning into a strange rune that was suspended in the air and rotating slowly.

"Frenna, I don't care what you're doing right now, hurry up and get to Mine Pit #3...that Flaming Tiger..." a tense and urgent man's voice penetrated the two as the rune vibrated, but the other party was clearly not in a good place right now, and the words were only halfway through being covered by a shocking and complete tiger whistle.

And the rune crumbled silently under the two men's gaze!

Damn, it's that flaming tiger....

As one of the deacons of Molten Fire City, Frenna naturally bore an unshirkable responsibility for the safety of the mines. As soon as she heard that there was a mistake there, she immediately broke away from Grim's embrace and hurriedly put on her robes and left in a panic.

Grim's face first smiled wryly, before he slowly and methodically dressed, leaving his residence and slowly rushing towards the lower level of the Molten Fire City.

Staying in Melting Fire City for six or seven days was already enough for Grim to know every single thing about the place like the back of his hand.

As soon as he arrived at the lower level of Molten Fire City, Grim could smell the thick smell of blood and sense the hot air on his face.

People's voices boiled and cries shook the heavens.

Large groups of alien slaves struggled to climb out of the depths of the tunnels, their bodies, hands, and faces covered with scorch marks and large, small prairie blisters from the flames. There were even constant 'firemen' running out of it, falling down and shrieking and wailing unceasingly in the underground hall....

The whole scene was unwatchable!

Although there were many sorcerers in the hall, no one was betting half their attention on these slave miners, much less casting a spell to save them. Their attention was focused on the inside of the mine pit, with instant wands or sorcery scrolls tightly saved in their hands.

Seeing Grim arrive from the upper levels, these sorcerers stationed at the mine immediately breathed a sigh of relief, and immediately two of them hurriedly greeted them.

"Lord Grim, you've come..."

"What's going on inside the mine now? Where are Kerak and Lord Dorian?" Although Grim already knew the situation here by heart, he was still asking questions at the moment with the excuse of not knowing.

"Kerak and Lord Dorian have already entered the mine, and Lord Frenna has just gone in..." a wizard in charge hurriedly explained, "Lord Kerak instructed before he went in that if you and Lord Unid came, please also Get in there and help as soon as you can!"

Despite the fact that Melting Fire City had been treating Grim with great hospitality and courtesy these past few days, it had never allowed him to enter the mine by a single step. Therefore, Grim was also very curious about the No. 3 mine which was rich in constant gold ore.

As he was talking, the ugly-looking Unid wizard also hurriedly arrived.

"Let's go down and take a look?" Grim inquired.

Unid nodded without hesitation.

They arrived side by side at the entrance of the mine and were immediately shaken by the tumbling waves of heat spewing out of it.

With a lift of his hand, Grim put a flame barrier on the two of them.

In a short while, the hot heat wave that had just eroded the flesh and bones immediately became gentle and warm, blowing on the body like a soft breeze, slightly warm.

The ground and walls were not decorated in any way, and what was exposed was a hard volcanic rock matrix like steel. Only on the top of the pitted stone wall, with the help of the light of the open fire, one could faintly see the golden flashes of stars.

That was the metallic component mixed in the rock!

Only a hundred steps into the inside of the mine, a sticky and heavy dark red magma blocked the way. It can be seen, I'm afraid the entire lower half of the mine has been soaked in the magma at the moment.

And just when the two of them slightly hesitated, the magma in front of them kept rolling and vibrating, and a series of huge bubbles emerged. Clearly, the battle inside was still going on, and by the looks of it, it was still intense!

"Now that we're here, let's go down and see." This time it was that Unid who opened the door first.

Grim smiled slightly and walked ahead of him.

With his tall body suddenly igniting with a huge flame, Grim had transformed into a nearly transparent flame humanoid in an instant.

Silently, the flame humanoid stepped into the magma without even a single bubble appearing, like a drop of water into a puddle, instantly turning invisible.

This place was worthy of being the best battlefield for a fire witch....

The Unid witch sighed silently in her heart and also held up a protection to keep the lava out, before striding deeper into the lava tunnel.

The dark red flow of magma split in two in front of her eyes, sliding past the sides of the transparent protection. The high heat of the magma and the magical shield intermingled, causing the female sealer from the south to feel a bit of pressure as well. And this pressure became more and more pronounced as she went deeper into the lava tunnel.

However, Unid was also a 3rd rank witch after all, and it was still hard to stop her with such a 'little' pressure. And before her, the tall flaming figure had been advancing rapidly, so she didn't need to worry about her safety at all, and only needed to do her best to resist the lava attack.

At a huge fork in the road, Grim came to a steep halt.

This was also a subterranean stone hall, originally filled with various table settings and a small mountain of ore was also stacked in one corner of the hall. Good right now, everything was soaked in the hot lava, the wood had almost disappeared, and only a few special items barely remained.

And at one of the entrances here, Frenna struggled to escape from it, seeing the flaming humanoid that Grim had transformed into, and hurriedly danced her way over.

It had only been a quarter of an hour before, and Frenna was already carrying a considerable amount of injuries.

Her sexy and hot body was now covered with scorch marks from the flames, while her beautiful face also had three scorch black claw marks across her entire face, and her exposed skin was densely covered with large and small prairie blisters and dark spots.

Looking at her staggering form, it seemed that there were more serious injuries than just the trauma.

Grim took a step forward to help her, reached out his hand on her body, and a strange magical power burst out, instantly dispelling all the flames on Furina's surface. Even as far as the naked eye could see, the fire poison that had invaded Freyna's body was turning into star-shaped fire debris, slowly dispersing into the air.

A huge bubble of air instantly enveloped Freyna, holding her afloat and floating in the lava.

"Lord Kerak and that flaming tiger are entangled in the 3rd mine, and Lord Dorian has gone to activate the Witch Formation. Lord Grim, you have to help Lord Kairak..." as soon as Frenna saw Grim, she grabbed his transparent flame hand and shook it for a while as if she saw a savior.

"Got it, you can go out first!"

Grim gave a slight jaw and stretched out his hand, and that air bubble curled up and flew outwards with Frenna along the tunnel she had come from.

"It seems that Lord Grim makes friends fast!" The Unid witch laughed softly and grazed Grim's body and dug into mine tunnel 3.

Grim, with a if-not-quite-smile on his face, darted into it as well.

The location where Kerak and Flame Tiger were fighting was located two hundred meters below the No. 3 mine shaft.

Here, inside a slightly wider tunnel, two 3rd rank of different races were fighting to the death.

Kairak was standing in the corner of the tunnel, his back against the rock wall, wielding a small and exquisite sorcery dagger in his hand, resisting the Flame Tiger's attack from all directions. The dark green jewel on his forehead was constantly overflowing with a turquoise aura, rapidly invading everything around him.

In the close combat, it was obvious that Kairak, the Poison Witch, was no match for the Level 3 Flame Tiger. However, the Flame Tiger seemed to have a slight scruple towards the short dagger he was wielding in his hand, and didn't dare to press too hard.

The two sides strained against each other in this kind of attack and dodge, a stalemate....

Grim and Unid's arrival apparently alerted the Flame Tiger, and with a tiger whistle it set off a three-foot wave that struck the two, while it itself made a leap to pounce on Kerak.

Kairak seemed to have been prepared for the Flame Tiger's attack, and with a slight shake of his dagger in his hand, he quickly condensed into a terrifying turquoise python, biting at the approaching Flame Tiger. The dark green gemstone on his forehead rippled and swiftly wrapped around the Flame Tiger's body.

In the past, the Flame Tiger would have had to dodge the attacks of the Poisonous Sorcerer. But today, for some unknown reason, the Flame Tiger jumped head-on without dodging, and crashed straight into the Dark Green Ripple and the Terrifying Python.

Ow....

After a shocking and complete tiger whistle, the Flame Tiger crashed through the ripples and was impaled on the shoulder by that dagger nail, but still rushed up regardless, biting viciously into Kerak's skull.

Kairak's poison arts were mostly useless in the lava, and he was helpless against the brutal Flame Tiger, so he could only desperately flee to Grim and Unid.

Grim and Unid looked at each other, and without hesitation, they pounced over.
