Age of Adepts

0912 - Mother Fire Dragon and the Stealing Source Worm

Wizarding World, Alois Region.

Flame Throne Witch Tower.

The loot seized from the Castle of Doom had been transferred back one after another, and Forest Demon Ava was organizing witches and apprentices to identify and classify it in a hurry.

Naturally, such a large sum of wealth could not all remain in the Flame Throne, whether it was magic gems, spell materials, magic equipment, metal ores, art treasures, or unknown curiosities, all of them had to be distributed to the White Tower in proportion.

As the ruler of the family, seriously, all of these riches belonged to Grim's personal possession.

But in order to support the family's operation, Grim also only took 10% of the loot for his own private collection. According to the distribution ratio, it was roughly: ten percent for Grim, ten percent for Mary, thirty percent for the Flame Throne, and fifty percent for the White Tower.

However, Grim and Mary, as the main force of the hunt, naturally had the right to choose first.

Grim chose the 3rd tier female fire dragon, Philippa, while Mary reserved half a ton of 3rd tier fire dragon blood. The rest was split 3:5 with White Tower, but Ava still wanted to leave as much essence as possible for the Flame Throne.

Those useless 'exotic art treasures' might as well share more with the White Tower, while those like spell materials and magic equipment would remain in the Flame Throne as much as possible.

This family interest was something that every regional ruler had to fight for!

But Grim would never be involved in a trivial matter like this.

Too much focus on unity and harmony within the family wasn't a good thing either, and necessary competition and elimination of the weak and strong was inevitable.

In order to avoid being wiped out, the Crimson Family had split its family power in two, and developed simultaneously in both the Scattered Tallinn and Northlands regions. Then, the two regions also had their own development classes and directions between them.

In the current situation, the White Tower side had fewer forces at its disposal, and the momentum of development was more rapid than the Flame Throne. And with Grim sitting on the Flame Throne's side, there would be some tilt of interest in various aspects.

However, overall, Gargamel's ability to recruit and harness middle and high level witches was significantly weaker than that of Meryl, who came from a legitimate witch background, due to her own strength and starting point being too low.

Meryl had Grim, the legendary clan leader's teacher, and a cadre of witch disciples such as the wind witch Desera, with the old fox Winlil at her side as a support. This was a sign that the resources she was able to mobilize within the Crimson Clan for witches were far superior to Gargamel.

At least with the line of Old Fox Winlier, Meryl was able to mobilize the vampire camp to a limited extent, and that alone was already enough to keep Gargamel firmly underneath her with difficulty!

And what about Gargamel with the Crimson Butler?

Most of the ones he was able to assign under him were either minor wizards who were not well known, or some old people that were introduced when the Crimson Family first rose to prominence. Such as Medusa Dana, Scorpion Lion Caron....

Although these 'old men' held a certain amount of voice within the Crimson Family, they were rapidly becoming marginalized as the family's power grew and rose. If they didn't rise to the occasion, the most likely scenario was that they would be dispatched by the family to some secondary plane or large resource point as guardian witches until they died.

That, too, was one thing that could not be helped!

Moreover, as the years went by, Gargamel was getting older and older. If he was delayed in advancing to the next level, whether or not he could live for another 50 years was an unpredictable matter.

And in this regard, Meryl had a much greater advantage over Gargamel!

....................

Inside the secret room.

The trauma-ridden 3rd stage female fire dragon Philippa was dying to lie down on the floor.

Numerous rune chains came out of the witchcraft formation of the stone wall around her body, binding her so tightly that even moving her little finger was so difficult.

Due to the control of her body being taken away, the female fire dragon had lost her self-control and could only barely open her eyes to stare viciously at the wretched male witch who couldn't stop looking up and down in front of her.

"Human, what is it you want? If you need your sister to accompany you, there's no need to be so violent!" Perhaps it was because she knew that the form was stronger than the person, the female fire dragon also finally softened a bit at this moment, communicating with Grim in spirit words while throwing frequent flattering glances.

Only with her body shape and posture, even if she turned into a human form, she was a first-class role of a piglet fat lady, and that pretentious flattering posture simply made Grim sick.

"It's not your body I want..." said Grim, shaking his head.

"..." the female fire dragon's expression stiffened, "Then you probably fancy my strength! It's not impossible to want me to be your dragon pet. But I'll only be your personal dragon pet, and that vampiress don't even think about it..."

"I don't need you to be a dragon pet..." continued Grim, shaking his head.

"Then what do you want? You...you...aren't really going to kill me! I'm the mighty Calamity Star Philippa, you...you wouldn't be so profligate, would you?" Seemingly distracted by the male witch's mysterious gesture, the female fire dragon was no longer as certain as before.

"What I want is your natural bloodline... this, can you give it to me?" Grimson laughed abruptly.

"What exactly do you want to do? It's not like you don't have dragon blood in you, and our dragon bloodline inheritance is non-transferable..."

While the female fire dragon was shrieking and roaring furiously, Grim waved his hand and a corner of the huge chamber, a metal cage blocked by a dense rune witch formation, slowly opened, and from it rustled out a small, petite beast.

It was a strange beast that resembled a small mastiff.

The reason why it was odd was because its size did not conform to the evolutionary rules of powerful magical beasts.

Its thin body was only the size of a Mastiff, its surface was smooth and smooth, and it had no hair. The pair of strong and powerful hind legs behind its body allowed it to run quickly and swiftly, but it had no front legs. The bare head had no tough scaly armor, no sharp horns, not even eyes or ears or nose, only a terrifying fanged maw.

The giant mouth occupied almost more than 2/3 of the skull.

There was no acid spewing, no poisonous saliva, no sturdy scale armor, no strong body, no great divine power, no elemental abilities....

It was such a seemingly ordinary, odd beast without any strange abilities that firmly attracted the full attention of the female fire dragon, Philippa, as soon as it appeared.

"What... what is this? What do you...what do you want...to do with it?"

For no apparent reason, the female fire dragon's chill hairs stood on end, an unspeakable instinct of danger making her heart beat wildly!

However, under the suppression and restraint of the Witch Tower, the Female Fire Dragon was no longer able to control her fat and massive body. Under the coiling and tugging of the silver chain, the female fire dragon's closed mouth actually opened a gap without a sound.

And the beast like a snake poked out a long and flexible tongue from the mouth, standing in the air and gently trembling, and soon sensed the presence of the female fire dragon and Grim. Lured by two equally tasty and enticing 'food' breaths, the foreign beast braced itself with its hind legs and took a few wild steps towards Grim's direction.

Grim's brow furrowed.

Damn it, had his elemental talent now overshadowed the bloodline talent of the 3rd stage Fire Dragon, making the Source Stealing Worm preferentially choose to target himself?

The heart felt something, the mind moved.

A wintry killing intent escaped from Grim's body, causing the temperature of the air around him to begin to slowly rise.

Perhaps sensing the crisp air around Grim's body, the Source Stealing Insect fiercely stopped in its tracks and carefully probed for a moment before lovingly shifting its target and pouncing towards the Mother Fire Dragon's slightly open mouth.

If the female fire dragon had even the slightest ability to resist, not to mention the scorching fire dragon spit and imposing dragon claws, a casual sneeze from it could burn a group of such defenseless trash exotic beasts.

But now the female fire dragon could only watch this beast pounce on her mouth without being able to do anything about it.

Although she didn't know what this foreign beast was and what kind of harm it would bring, the cowering that came from the depths of her soul made her palpitate with fear.

The fact that a low-ranked exotic beast without any elemental talent or supernormal abilities could bring her such a strong sense of crisis was a clear indication that the other party had strange abilities that she could not understand!

Besides, would that wretched wizard threaten himself with a trashy foreign beast?

"Make it stop...I'll do anything you say...quick...make it stop...nooooo..."

As the female fire dragon, Philippa, hissed and roared, the foreign beast had burrowed headfirst inside her giant mouth, stepping on its tongue and sliding down its thick throat.

The female roared and roared desperately, trying to gather a flame at her throat to burn the beast to death. Unfortunately, the spiritual fluctuations she emitted were strangled by the silver chains bound around her body, and the flames dissipated without even being able to gather a small flame.

Within Grim's witch tower, without Grim's permission, the 3rd stage female fire dragon Philippa wouldn't even succeed in gathering a spark.

And while Philippa was roaring and struggling, the foreign beast had already entered the female fire dragon's body and started to move around greatly. For some reason, the super corrosive gastric juice inside the female fire dragon's stomach capsule couldn't even help the beast, and it even used its huge mouth to tear open the female fire dragon's stomach capsule and rampage inside her belly.

Philippa had a feeling that it was coming for her heart and spinal cord!

Unfortunately, this realization came a little too late, and in a heart-rending pain, Philippa shuddered in pain and mental tremors, and the mental words of confession were even more volleyed into Grim.

"I give up...I was wrong...I surrender!" At this moment Philippa shed tears, "As long as you let that foreign beast out, I promise you everything...everything..."
