Age of Adepts

Chapter 0929 - Trapping You to Death

Shadow dragons, as the name implied, were also one of the Fae Giant Dragons.

Although they carried the name of the dragon race, their essence was more like a powerful shadow creature.

They had pitch-black and dull scales, and the surface of their huge and hideous dragon bodies were always emitting a thick and obscure atmosphere of shadow. Black dragon horns, black dragon bodies, black dragon wings, black dragon claws and black dragon tails....

Even the dragon's breath they spewed was black.

It was because of these strange magical properties that the Shadow Dragon was one of the best at sneaking around. Don't look at their body as big as a small mountain, but they could blend into a palm-sized piece of back or shadow.

And until they attacked, very few people would be able to tell that they were hiding in that shadow.

Today, however, the Shadow Dragon Atlantis was clearly out of luck.

Because it had chosen to hide in the shadows beneath Alice, the Witch of Destiny.

It was true that it could conceal its every move from most of the Level 3 creatures, but not from Alice who was standing near the main entrance.

Through her sense of fate, Alice had already been aware of the existence of the Shadow Dragon Atlantis.

That's why she pretended to be a harmless person and stood beside the main entrance all alone.

And when the Shadow Dragon Atlant entered the doom, Alice smiled indifferently, and with the help of the Elemental Pixie Helen, she smoothly launched that Fate Sorcery.

Cloister of Fate!

This is a confinement maze type of fate sorcery that requires Alice to touch the body of the target creature in order to successfully activate it, imprisoning it in a large, arcane and mysterious maze.

This labyrinth does not cause any damage to the enemy, but only traps it inside for fifteen minutes. If the enemy was able to peek through the hidden secrets of the Corridor of Fate, or force their way through with brute force, there was also a great chance of getting out early.

However, this little bit of time was already enough time for Alice to do something!

Therefore, just as the Shadow Dragon Atlantis realized something was wrong and wanted to explode with all its might, its entire body was already on top of a winding blue stone pontoon bridge in a flash of light. On both sides of the bridge, clouds and mist surrounded it, as if the bridge was built in the void.

Looking around, apart from a winding pontoon bridge, nothing else could be seen in this huge void. At the end of each pontoon bridge, there was a quietly standing light door, with ripples of light on it, as if they were connected to each other.

The shadow dragon Atlantis was slightly startled, scanning the world before him with a slight sense of familiarity. It seemed... as if... it had heard of a similar otherworldly space where spatial teleportation and flight techniques seemed to be forbidden, only allowing intruders to slowly try one light gate at a time... ...

The Shadow Dragon's heart was shocked and his body sank, but nothing happened.

Damn, this place couldn't even sense the Shadow World anymore!

Originally, with Shadow Dragon Atlant's 3rd stage strength, it could have used the Shadow World as a springboard to return back to the Lance Plane through the close connection between its soul origin and the Shadow World. But strangely, it could no longer perceive the Shadow World in this mysterious magical cloister.

The Shadow Dragon tried flapping its wings again and couldn't rise any higher after levitating its body one meter.

It seemed that even flying and levitation were banned in this world.

The Shadow Dragon Atlantis' face instantly darkened.

It finally remembered what this place was.

The Cloister of Fate... this was the Cloister of Fate!

Without the guidance of fate, any guy who wandered into the Cloisters of Destiny could only wait in silence for his repatriation back.

Atl finally crawled down on his knees in frustration.

................

Dizzy and shaken by the roar that the shadow dragon, Atlant, had catalyzed before leaving.

It also took Alice more than a dozen flexes of her fingers to barely break free from the might of the vast dragon.

Although she had managed to pit the shadow dragon into the Cloister of Fate, the difference in strength between the two was still there after all.

If Alice had 3rd rank strength, she would have been able to confine the Shadow Dragon in the Cloister of Fate for at least an hour. How could it be like now, only a quarter of an hour.

After a quarter of an hour, the Shadow Dragon would be sent back to wherever it came from by the power of fate.

At that time, a 3rd Order Shadow Dragon in full fury would reappear in the shadows beneath Alice, and she would be on her own then!

So Alice rushed into the cruising mothership without hesitation, quickly communicating with Meryl through sorcery as she raced down to the lower levels.

"Quick...open that magic prison quickly...I need to use it now!"

After all, Alice was a delicate and weak Destiny Witch, all of her elemental power was sacrificed to the power of destiny, making her body weak to the extreme. If it wasn't for the elemental elf Helen flying at her side and giving her a Gale Art and the Power of the Bull, I'm afraid that Alice's speed wouldn't have been able to reach the magic prison located at the bottom of the cruising mothership in time.

The Crimson Family had come for the dragons, in order to capture more loot, so they had specially built some magic prisons on the cruising mothership to imprison and seal the dragons.

And what Alice was rushing towards at this moment was one of the places used to imprison the high-ranking dragons.

"147....146....145..."

While quickly checking the number, Alice put her feet to run, twisting and turning the metal tunnel one after another. From time to time, she had to thud down some spiral metal spiral stairs.

"68....67....66..."

"32....31....30..."

When Alice looked up '15', the magic prison was finally in sight, some metal magic weapons had opened the cage door, and a few crimson witches were hastily activating the seal witch formation inside.

Alice ran into the magical prison in one breath, and stood in the middle of the slowly operating witch array that was glowing with magical fluorescence. The elemental elf who was with her day and night waved a small wand, quickly activating all the witch formations in the magic prison and hooking them up one by one.

"8...7...6...5... "

The elf instructed the elf to expel all Crimson Wizards and Magic Arms, who took full control of the control center of the magical prison.

"4...3...2..."

The little wand in the elf's hand lit up with a dazzling milky white light, and the entire Sealing Witch Formation was eager to try, but always in a state of activation and waiting to be activated.

Mistakenly not presided over by a high-ranking elemental creature like the elf, an ordinary sorcerer simply could not control such a complex and numerous Sealing Sorcery Formation as he wished.

"1........"

With Alice's last sharp shout, power erupted suddenly in the shadows beneath her, and a large, large, dragon-like creature emerged out of nowhere.

"You go..."

The Shadow Dragon Atlant, who had been imprisoned in the Cloister of Fate for fifteen minutes, was simply out of rage.

It, a rank 3 dragon, had unwittingly been pitted against a rank 2 human witch. How did this not make it angry, not make it roar.

So, as soon as it became aware of the fluctuations in spatial power and perceived the scent of that near-by witch, Shadow Dragon Atl instantly....

Before its surging shadow power could actually explode, its vast spiritual perception scanned the environment it was in at the moment.

Damn, this... this was....

Before the last word "death" was uttered, the powerful sealing force rolled up and sealed it into the witch formation along with the 2nd rank witch.

No matter how powerful the 3rd rank Shadow Dragon was, it could not compete with the Seal Witch Formation.

Moreover, the one providing energy to the Sealing Witch Formation was the large magical melting pot on the Cruising Mothership, and the one presiding over the Witch Formation was a high-ranked Elemental Elf. Thus, the roar of the Shadow Dragon Atlantis came to an abrupt halt, and the entire body and massive shadow power, as well as the mental fluctuations and soul thoughts were instantly imprisoned.

And Alice was willing to sacrifice herself in order to not let this guy go, and was sealed up all together.

Looking at the Shadow Dragon and Alice who were as rigid and still as if they were clay sculptures in the Sealing Witch Formation, the elemental elf Helen could only sigh inwardly, carefully protecting the Sealing Witch Formation and closing the magic prison.

With its and Alice's strength, it could only do this much.

What they were facing, after all, was a 3rd stage dragon.

To be able to sacrifice Alice herself and seal up this 3rd rank dragon, such a feat had been invaluable!

It's up to that Grim to see if he has the skill to save Alice without letting go of the 3-step shadow dragon. Otherwise, a bad operation could be the end of God's fall.

When little Helen flew back to the command hall with her transparent membrane wings flapping, it was Meryl's inquiring eyes that she ran into.

"That Class 3 dragon has sealed up..." said Little Helen impassively.

"That's good... That's good... By the way, where's Alice-sama?" Meryl patted her chest in celebration, whirling with curious questions.

"It's sealed with that dragon!" Little Helen pouted and flew around in the air anxiously, "Alice wanted to help out a little too much to choose such a dangerous way. Well, what's so good about that big guy that she's even willing to risk her life to catch that shadow dragon... hmmm..."

The more she talked, the angrier she became, and little Helen actually waved her wand and anthropomorphized a miniature version of Grim in the air, then pounced on it with a flurry of punches and kicks, leaving Meryl beside her speechless for a while.

By now, the fight on the cruising mothership was heating up.

The Shadow Dragon was never coming back, and was slow to wait for the other to start.

This undoubtedly caused the Water Dragon Dominion to become increasingly irritated and suspicious.

After a bloody fight, Water Dragon Dominir had to admit that it couldn't defeat the strange puppet in front of it with physical combat alone.

Whether it was the sturdiness of its body or its great divine power, this strange puppet was more than a match for it. Coupled with the invincible nasty metal magic weapons on its side, and the continuous attacks of a metal turret, Dominir the Water Dragon was actually defeated in a close fight with a strange puppet.

Dominir frantically shrugged off the elemental magic weapons and turned around to escape....
